When i tried to update the any metadata property of an asset jcr:lastModified & jcr:lastModifiedBy which is present under "/jcr:content/renditions/original/jcr:content not updating . Requirement is whenever any metadata property gets updated these two values should also be updated .Kindly provide any suggestion how to resolve this issue.

I am looking to write up some velocity script for a new project. We want to send out dynamic emails to our partners that have outstanding onboarding tasks to complete. We want them to receive an email every few days that will list 3 (or less depending on how many tasks they have left to do) tasks that they haven't completed and link them to the dashboard where they can finish them.  I was thinking that in velocity I would set an order to the 8 tasks (these will be boolean fields marked true or false depending on completion) and have it display the ones that are not complete in the email, but I'm not sure how to cap it 3 tasks. Also, want to make sure that by setting an "order" to the tasks, it will show the most important tasks to list first (hope that makes sense). For example, if they have 5 tasks left to do, I only want to display 3 of the most important ones in the email.   

I have a dialog with 3 dropdowns A,B&C. Either of these will be displayed based on another dropdown using wrapperClass. Each dropdowns has 3 options X,Y,Z. When Z is selected, a text field must be shown, otherwise it must be remained hidden. Any inputs?

Hi community! We are aiming at configuring a simple pressure rule for marketing emails. I want to use the build in functionality for this, however, it seems that it is a requirement that you specify a contact date on the delivery itself. That kind of does not comply with our way of working. We always configure workflows with schedules to execute a delivery from a template. That means that the workflow will determine when the delivery is being sent, thus leaving "contact date" in the delivery itself empty. Any idea how we can overcome this? Is there anything I am missing?  Thanks in advance for any help!

AEM 6.5.18Problem statement: Trying to save PDF in AEM publish DAM and return a externalized PDF URL.A post servlet is created to POST data with pdf as blobdata to store PDF in DAM. If directly posted to AEM publish, PDF is stored in DAM successfully. However, if it is posted via dispatcher, we observe 400 - Bad request error. Things checked/observed:Enabled trace logs in dispatcher and ensured filter allows POST for servlet path.Since it is anonymous POST, no CSRF-TOKEN is generated.All /clientheaders required are allowed in dispatcherTried adding LimitRequestBody  LimitRequestFieldSize LimitRequestFields LimitRequestLine to sufficient sizeTried to disable mod_security to see if the multipart data is allowed to be posted to narrow root cause.Above did not resolve the issue and unable to determine the root cause of 400-bad request in dispatcher alone.Please let me know if any further inputs I missed to share. Hi All, I got requirement to create sub folder using workflows. Authors uses the workflow to maintain standard folder names and structures(Imagine author creates same sub folders for each quarter). In the beginning main folder does not have any assets. Author do not have permissions to access the tools -> workflow.I am able to invoke the workflow from servlet. when I am adding new action button using crxdelite overlay, it is throwing 'unexpected error occured while overlaying node'. Not sure adding custom button allowed in aem cloud version. Please suggest. Thanks in advance. Mehar.

Hi there, I installed AEM to my local Windows laptop. I can connect to author via localhost: 4502, but i got the following error to connect to publisher localhost:4503. I started the publisher instance by double clicking the aem-publish-p4503.jar file.Not FoundCannot serve request to /content.html in org.apache.sling.servlets.get.DefaultGetServlet I tried to access to localhost:4503/system/console, i can access to it without being prompted to log in.And my "Day CQ Root Mapping" is also /content.html already. Could anyone help me out of it.

When printing from the MacOS14 and macOS 15 dev beta using the HP driver there is an error: "Filter failed"The issue is random using the same document and will not be printed and get stuck in the spooler with the error "filter failed"Sonoma 14.4.1Problem statement :- The "Filter" failed issue is reproducible only on macOS 14 and macOS 15 developer beta with Adobe acrobat reader. and it is not reproducible on other pdf viewer applications eg:(Preview, Foxit Reader).Steps to Reproduce :-Reset print system1.Delete HP and PPDs folder from Library/Printers2.Install 6.2.0.13.Create a new print queue with IP using IPP Protocol.4.Open document in Acrobat Pro5.Open Print Dialog6.Select something that invokes hppostprocessing.  I tried booklet and watermark both created error. 

Hello all, I have a custom form data model annd associations. A custom data source to MS Dynamics CRM. I have a form with 15 tables to submit in one go and with error handling for each put/post. These tables are in a parent child relationship. Submitting parent did not submit child data although PUT request for parent has child entity. Surprising!hence trying multiple puts Question - how do i submit to all tables in multiple put/posts. Submitting to parent entity via PUT api does not update child and is stunning to me.  OOTB one entity can be submitted via FDM submit, I can handle via workflows but does not show up errors to the user in page so defeats the purpose. @mayankgu9 @workflowuser

Hi , We have a requirement where we need to transfer/copy the content (Pages and Assets) from Production AEM as a cloud instance which is in a particular cloud program lets say p1  to Stage AEM as a cloud instance which is in another cloud program lets say p2. Content transfer tool provided OOTB by Adobe does not support this use case as both the instances are in different cloud programs. The volume of assets is quite high. Is there any best strategy/approach which can be used to tackle this use case , also any approach to make this process automated.  Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks,  

Hello Everyone, I tried to download: AEM Forms 6.5.21.0 Add-on for Windows from Adobe Software Distribution. It was trying to download. But failed after few minute. Tried to disable Anti-virus from browser, local system. Still, no luck.Same case, while downloading other large sized packages. Anyone has solution for this? Note: My internet speed is more than 100Mbps. Thanks 

Hi,There’s a workflow that executes on author but page is on publisher and the workflow hand off occurs via AEM forms from publisher to author for some PUT requests with error handling. With an error at any step of the workflow on author , how do I send the notification to publisher from author, to display to the user ? want to ensure I cautiously pass data between instances I believe sling event can help but not sure I should over engineer it
