Hi all,  Our client is currently sending out marketing emails using Adobe Campaign, but they'll be switching to AJO soon. They already have a domain that they're currently using in Campaign. Can they re-use the same domain in AJO as well, or would they need a new domain for AJO? Thanks

Hi All,   I know this is a question more suited for other forums but just wanted to get an opinion if anyone has a handy rewrite rule for the below use case -  I want to redirect a URL for the format "https://abc.com/x/y#z" to "https://abc.com/"   The typical rewrite rule which we use is as below -  RewriteRule ^/x/y / [R=301,L,NE] This however yields the URL - https://abc.com/#z Changing the rule to below (including # in Rewrite rule) leads to the rule not being met at all - RewriteRule ^/x/y#z / [R=301,L,NE]   Does anyone have a handy regex rule for handling the above use case? @imran__khan, @arunpatidar, @sureshdhulipudi, @raja_reddy ,@aanchal-sikka, @estebanbustamante    Thanks in advance, Rohan Garg

Hi,I wonder whether it works to crate a form in a landing page to modify tables other than profile table in ACS.I copied the OOB landing page template and chose another targeting dimension than profile in my copy. Then I created a landing page using my template and I tried different reconciliation keys and parameter mapping. Nothing seems to work. When I go to the testing page and choose an entry to modify, I end up immediately on the error page. Is there any way of modifying other tables that profile from a form in a landing page?Best regards

Hi all, I need to disable the manual entry of the tags in tagfield in assert property, for example when typing the tag name in the tag field it should populate the suggested tags in the dropdown list so either i need to select from the list or else i need to select the tags using the browse icon in the tagfield, when typing the tag name in the tag field and clicking enter it should not add the tag in the field, so how can we prevent this functionality any one can give some suggestion on this please. ThanksNandheswara

I am creating 2 segments and expect these 2 segments yield the same number of visit, but I found segment B has higher visit. Why?  @andrew_wathen_  I read some your posts, and you seem like an expert for segmentation. Any chance you know why?

There are constant multiple errors in the smart tags generated for our photo assets. The AI also misses many obvious tags e.g. a close up of a flower has 8 smart tags, and none of them are "flower".  Or bizarre, nonsensical tags are assigned such as 'cowbell' 'lacustrine plain' or 'bobsled'. Is there a way to enhance its success rate? We've added 140 blocked smart tags to our system, however it remains time consuming to remove all the errors.

In order to help improve the accuracy of my planned hours on all my tasks used in the project templates I'm looking to create a report that:Looks at all projects created using a single templateShows the average ACTUAL HOURS for each task within that template across the projectsDoes anyone know how to do this using a report? Refining planned hours based on actuals is a step that's often been recommended by Workfront resources and trainings that I've joined in on but I can't find any specific resources outlining how to go about reviewing these actual hours against the planned hours on a template-by-template basis. Does anyone have any experience completing this refinement exercise that they could share? Any insight into how ya'll are approaching this would be extremely beneficial!

I'm admittedly pretty terrible with the EXISTS filter. hi,I installed AEM 6.4 locally and have been running it fine for the past few days. After a machine restart and trying to rerun the jar files on my Mac I get the following errors on http://localhost:4502/aem/start.html, as well as on http://localhost:4503/sites.html/content "libs/granite/ui/components/shell/header/user/User has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 53.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0Cannot serve request to /aem/start.html in /libs/granite/ui/components/shell/header/user/user.html"can anyone help me with this issue?thanks

Hi there,I am currently encountering a problem while trying to fetch a field value from a custom object to use it in an email. Specifically, I am retrieving a string from the custom object to use as the value of a query parameter in the URL within the email. Please refer to the VTL code below and the attached screenshot of the email. ISSUE can be noticed at the bottom left of the screenshot. I have already verified the value in the custom object and confirmed that there are no spaces included.NOTE - I checked the value in CO, if that is having the spaces included but answer is NO. Hello there, I'm currently  working on an AEM Approval Workflow, and I've hit a bit of a roadblock. I'm struggling to properly set up the initiator, and I could use some assistance. Here's a breakdown of my workflow: The Manager Approval task is a custom implementation of ParticipantChooser, where I retrieve the workflow initiator using:  String initiator = workItem.getWorkflow().getInitiator();  Afterward, I identify all the groups this user belongs to and match the author group to the approval groups. This part works smoothly when I manually start the workflow.However, my goal is to streamline the process for authors by triggering the workflow automatically when the authors publish content using a launcher. Here lies the issue: when the launcher triggers the workflow, the user is set to "workflow-service" which prevents me from finding the correct approvers. I tried using the metadata  String initiator2 = workItem.getWorkflo

 AEM Cloud : utm_source , utm_medium query parameters unable to fetch these values from slingHttpServletRequest object using request.getQueryString() but whereas other parameters  are showing up ex : utm2_source , a=b .  Ex URL : https://publish-p23444-exxxys.adobeaemcloud.com/content/xyz/abcd/en.html?utm_source=xyz&utm_medium=cpc&param=value&lid=1234&ds_s_kwgid=1234&ds_url_v=2&gclid=Te1234&a=b&utm2_source=abcd. From above URL utm_source & utm_medium  are missing in  request.getQueryString() only in publish and able to get in author.

I want to unit test the following Sling model, which has similar code as of the core component ContentFragmentListImpl. I tried to understand the unit test for ContentFragmentListImpl, but failed to do so. On selecting a video on the OOTB light page, it redirects to the multimedia page(Not OOTB and created using Asset Details Template) and the video plays. This multimedia page is child page of details pages (OOTB page). I see details page path was configured in the page property of light page. Similarly, if i create an exact replica of multimedia page with the name video and delete the multimedia page. The redirection from light page doesnt happen to video page. Anywhere I should be configuring this?

Hi all, Please guide me towards Edge Delivery Services Fundamentals.I am totally new to it.The latest webinar (Mar 13th 2024) also assumes some knowledge of this subject and so could not complete going through it.Read that it is something like a CDN to help deliver content faster, but it looks like it is much more than that. I do not know Universal Editor, Document based editing, etc.Is it specific to AEM As A Cloud Service only or for any AEM flavor? Appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.

We have recently updated RHEL8 and post that the email service is not working, we are not receiving any approval emails or asset expire notification emails. This was working earlier.Please advise. DO we need to restart anything post the upgrade?
