 Hello AEM Community, I'm facing a challenge with retrieving a component property value in JavaScript. Specifically, I have a component named "userdetails" that includes a text field labeled "first name." The corresponding property for this field is stored as "fName." My objective is to access the value of this property ("fName") in JavaScript. Could someone kindly assist me with the correct approach or code snippet to achieve this? Hello, We have a business requirement to host static webpages from AEM. Our AEM version is the latest AEM as a Cloud Service - 6.5. We need to host a project folder, containing multiple HTML files, javascript, and style files. When we access the URL to the index.html file in dam, the browser downloads the HTML file, instead of rendering it on the screen. We have tried to:1) unchecked "Enable For All Resource Paths" option in the Apache Sling Content Disposition Filter;2) removed the blacklisted "html/text" configuration. Has anyone found a workaround to hosting and rendering static HTML pages in dam? Any help is appreciated.

Hi,  We have a requirement where in Child company data needs to be shared with Parent company in AEP. Approach - By creating two new sandboxes, would this be possible (I feel it's unlikely) or suggestion is to create brand level Schema within same sandbox and go from there ?  or what is the best way to deal when we have 2 or more brands under same Org.   Thank you Vikram

Some time ago, fields for progressive profiling were added to our website.However, in the Chrome browser, progressive profiling fields are not displayed at all (in the settings it is specified to show one of two). The field appears in the Firefox browser, but it does not have a label. I disabled all custom CSS styles, but this did not affect the display of fields: it is still missing in Chrome and without a label in Firefox.I didn't find anything similar in the topics.I'm wondering if there are any known issues with the display of progressive grading fields in general, as well as their operation?Can this be resolved through the efforts of the site developers or are there other options? Is there a way to put progressive profiling fields along with a group of regular fields? Perhaps this would solve the problem.

I have video (mp4 file) in the DAM. I'm trying to play it in a page.I tried the General component, Video but nothing appears.Do I need the optional feature "Dynamic Media" or is there some other way.thanksFiona

Hi All, I have been trying to add my Marketo form (under Design Studio) into my Marketo Landing Page (under Marketing Activities) but somehow it's not showing up on the page even after trying on multiple landing pages. Hi Community , I created a survey form in survey form i can see responses but i want to store those  responses on separate data schema , how to do it ? 

Hi,We are making one ajax call to retrieve the data from back-end (response in json format).Flow is as below : 1) Js which has ajax call is included in one of the page component jsp.(this ajax function will be called on page load)2) This ajax call makes Post call to AEM servlethtml tags3) AEM servlet gets the data from another system by making http connection (response data is in json format)4) AEM servlet passes json back to ajax call and in ajax call success method we are reading the json and populating the json data on the page by surrounding the data with proper HTML tags. Here the Json response that we are receiving is very big one and complex in structure.  While populating the json data on the page we wrote lot of Jquery code in ajax call by having required with in it. (ex: <table> , <tr>, <td> , <li> etc..). As i said this json is very huge and complex we had to write more than 200+ lines of code (Jquery + HTML tags)  within ajax call to populate it on t

HiIs it possible to add multiple default values? Like, I have a multiselect dropdown with values:1=Argentina2=China3=Serbia I would like to preselect values 2 and 3 (China and Serbia). I tried to add 2,3 to the default field, but it doesn't work when I add a comma separated list of values. It works when I only add 1 value. Is it not possible? 

Hello,I am not using recipient schema. I have a custom table with customer data and my target mapping is created on that table and the survey table created using target maping is 'yyy:webAppLogxxx'. I have added custom fields in this schema.I have created a survey with document as 'custom table' and library as 'yyy:webAppLogxxx'. Survey page is standard page activity, not V5 page.I am able to take response from customer and it is getting stored in 'yyy:webAppLogxxx' table but I am not able to see it in response tab of the survey.Also, when I want to read the responses using 'Survey responses' activity, it is resulting me zero records.Can someone please help me in getting the responses selected using Survey response activity ?Vipul Raghav​Adhiyan​Amit_Kumar​@

We have a form which when submitted invokes a workflow and submit the DOR to Amazon S3 bucket. It works fine via publisher though giving 204 form dispatcher. Hi, When I create an Experience Fragment using AEM, I can use the following image components, either "wcm/foundation/components/image" or "weretail/components/content/image", although these components appear and render the same in the Experience Fragment editor, but in crx/de,the image component node with resourceType "weretail/components/content/image" stores the complete image asset in the node and "wcm/foundation/components/image" stores the reference to the image in the node property "fileReference". I need to know where these node structures are defined and how AEM understands whether to store the asset or store the reference to file in jcr node property. Or Generally speaking,How does AEM understand what component requires what JCR properties in their nodes/how the component stores data in their JCR nodes.
