We're running an A/B test, as the analyst monitoring the test, I'm seeing some users (one or two) appear to have been included in the Control Group but participated in an event activity that should only be visible in the Challenger group.  In this case, they clicked on a custom main nav link that was added only to the Challenger group. The test should be set up to exclude users in one test group from seeing the other.  What might be causing this to happen?  I did not set up the test but am an analyst.  Again, it's only 1 or 2, but if the users were in the Challenger group, why are they falling under the Control counts? To add context there is personalization XT being applied to a subset of pages that could fall into the A/B test. But the challenger and control will see it equally. Could this be interfering with the A/B test? Thanks, Michelle

I want to understand how Adobe Target reads the digital data layer. From one of my experiences, I was trying to pass page title from a data layer While I used reading via javascript variable it did not work for me: However, reading it as a core attribute worked Why this is the case? Also, I have pages with multi-product categories and they get passed into my data layer in the form of an array, and through JS code I am already successfully reading it via data element into eVars for my analysis. However, when I am trying to map this multi-product categories data element to user.categoryId to pass it as a Target mbox parameter for every page load nothing comes up in my favorite categories. Any suggestions as to why? This is why I am wondering how to read values out of the digital data layer into data elements for Target?

When I load a page on our website there are two server calls that fire. My understanding is that only one is being sent to Adobe but I would like to know why this is happening and how to make it stop - it is effecting our QA process.   

Hi, We are using AEM as Cloud Service and for one of our application we are using SAML 2.0 SP initiated authentication with IDP as PING.The login authentication is working fine but not sure how to handle logout.we have configured "handleLogout" and "logoutUrl" in SAML configuration.But it's not working as expected.how to invalidate a session in AEM after user clicks a "logout" link?please help.  "handleLogout": true,"logoutUrl": "our IDP logout url here",

Hi Community, I have to create experience targeting where I have banners changed for 3 different experiences based on the audience. I wanted to know the scope of changes we can make in the target experience. For example, if changed banners don't have any CTA button like "Learn More" or "Explore" & I want to add them on banners then can we do that through edits in Experiences? Is it a good practice or we should have the component made at the backend which has a CTA button and rename them in different experiences? How far we can make changes to the HTML page?

Let's say there's a marketing professional who doesnt know any or little javascript. How can that individual use adobe target and create complex use cases? Is there any way to do that? or is it possible to do so without any javascript?

Hi again community, I've been managing assets for a client for some years and for the first time had a file blacklisted from the dam and wouldn't allow users to access it. It would show in the library as an asset, but the thumbnails were absent and when you clicked on it, AEM would return a block error. I worked with my dev team and they determined that it was because a specific string/word was used in the filename. In this case it was `frames`. I asked them if they could provide a list of blacklisted strings/words/phrases and they said they didn't have one. I'm guessing it was an OOB best practice filename blacklist. Is there such a list in the AEM documentation that I'm missing? I did a search in the support section but couldn't find anything. I'm sure its there, but I probably used the wrong search terms to get the desired result. Anyone have it handy, or know if one exists?

Hello,I have a segment definition and a profile that meets the criteria for the segment. On first Segment Job run, what should be the expected status of Segment membership? Realized or Existing? What if the status was "Existing" before the Segment Job run? Does that mean that the Segment Job was run previously? Thanks.

Has anyone done Hotjar integration with Adobe Target to analyze split-testing variations and personalization with Experience Issues.    Have explorer the link I found Hotjar Integrations Guide: 20 Ways to Easily Install Hotjar | Hotjar Blog but nothing is for Adobe Target.    If anyone made this integration possible, could you please help.    Thanks,

Hi,We have just integrated AEM with adobe target to push content from AEM to target. My question is as AEM also offers personalisation so we can also create an activity in AEM and push it to target to implement personalisation but which one is recommended either create and activity directly in target or create one in AEM push it to target. Hi,For my project, I would like that *only* the custom form widgets we have created (in the apps folder) are displayed to authors. I don't want authors adding the OOTB textbox/dropdown etc by accident as we have customized these.I have a custom template and a custom etc/design - I thought I could do this like I would with a aem site page, by removing "group:Adaptive" from the components array on the design, but this does not remove the options from the author.Additions to my custom design are added as expected (suggesting that the design is indeed being used). As a test, I even remove "group:Adaptive from all locations where it appears out of the box (3 locations) using the below search:SELECT * FROM [nt:unstructured] AS nodeWHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE(node, "/")AND CONTAINS([components], "group:Adaptive Form")Even after removing these 3 references, the "Adaptive Form" group is show when authoring the form.Where is this defined?How can I prevent this default behaviour from occurring? Hello, I'm getting the "Failed to Delete" error when I try to delete any of my Assets. I'm signed in as an Admin with all of the correct privileges. Hi, I'm working on AIO function that handles asset processing. Business logic requires to upload new asset to AEM or update existing one and republish if it's already published. I have asset successfully uploaded but I can not find any API endpoint that would let me publish the asset. What would be the best way of doing this?I've checked the AEM Assets HTTP API and I couldn't find such an option. I've also gone over Assets developer use cases but replication doesn't appear to be covered by the documentation.
