We have a monthly newsletter that had a significant dip in opens this month. The one big difference I was noticing is that the length of this month's newsletter was a lot longer than typical, to the point where it was clipped in Gmail.  I was wondering if getting clipped would prevent the tracking pixel from being downloaded if someone just opens it in their email client without expanding it? Is the tracking pixel at the bottom of the email?

Hi, OOB HTML5 plugin is removing the authored elements (p, div etc)  when the class attribute is defined for that element. Instead if p/div elements, <span class="undefined_element" is enclosed between the authored text Ex: add class/outputclass for p and div tags (<p class="p_test" otherprops="test" outputclass="telephone">507-123-1234</p>, <div class="divElement"> I am in div section</div>). Run the preset generation for the OOB HTML5 .   Authored p/div elements are stripping off in the generated html files, instead of authored content <span class="undefined_element"> is getting added if the class attributed is authored  Below is the screenshot of the sample dita content   Generated HTML output without HTML5 customizations     OOB Plugin Customizations: Commented below code block in the topic.xsl. After many years, we have hundreds of segments and want to clean them up or delete them. However, I don't want to change/delete segments currently in use. Is there a way to see if these segments are used in current Workspace or Data Warehouse projects? FYI, we have over 100 Analytics users.   Ideally, I would like a list of all our segments and a count of projects using them. I don't see this info in the Components Management page, just owner and date last modified.    If this doesn't exist, I could use advice on how to delete 200 segments and not cause a riot. : )  

We have updated the service pack version from 6.5.10 to 6.5.15. I am just wondering, is it mandatory to update the uber-jar version to 6.5.15 as well? Our project's POM file is still pointing to uber jar version 6.5.10 and we haven't noticed any weird behavior as of now. What are the implications of not upgrading uber-jar to 6.5.15?   Thank you!

What is the maximum number of Values I can add to a filter within a smart list?For example, I tried adding 8,000 zip codes to a postal code and billing postal code filter but it will not save. I assume this is because 8,000 is a ridiculous number. Thanks for the help, I couldn't find it anywhere in the docs.

Hi All,We are trying to load two or more adaptive forms inside an overlay. We wanted to have an understanding about how to load adaptive forms inside Modal overlays?We are trying to have two CTA in the page and those CTA will load the Form in overlay. But forms are loading in page load itself hence page itself not loading.Please provide a documentation for this with best practices if possible.Thanks,Rajat

Hi,   I'm working with AEM 6.5 on-premise with the 6.5.15.0 SP installed, and currently, the pathfield is not working correctly. The dialog to select a path won't open, and in the console, it says next: Uncaught TypeError: currentColumnEl is undefined  If a value is entered into the input area, for example "/", then the dialog opens appropriately and you can select a path as you wish. hello exerts,   On Windows 10, one of our setup of AEM Forms Designer with following machine config is getting hanged and sometimes its not responding at all. The machine configs are:   Processor    Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2667 v4 @ 3.20GHz   3.19 GHzInstalled RAM    8.00 GBSystem type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Forms Designer - 6.5.0.2xxxxxx   Please share your opinion if someone faces similar issue or if there is known issue for forms designer on Windows.

Hi,   We have an experience fragment with some links authored. When the XF is rendered directly on page the links are resolved and show the short URLs as setup on etc mapping. But when the same XF is rendered on page by Adobe Target, the links are not applied with Resource Resolver and showing the complete page path. Eg: Full page path : /content/xyz/en/home/customer/products.html  - path getting rendered when Adobe Target is applied Short URL: customer/products.html - path to be rendered on normal page rendering.   Any directions on this are highly appreciated.   Thanks, Raghu  

Hi, I'm trying to apply conditional formatting in a View when the time on a task's Planned Completion Date falls outside a range of hours. I can't seem to isolate the time portion of the field and can't find any documentation on how to use a wildcard to use ANY dateT20:00:00. Can someone point me in the right direction?Goal: when plannedCompletionDate time is greater than 20:00:00 and less than 11:00:00, the entire row will be redI've tried using HOUR(plannedCompletionDate) but can't get it right -- I'm not certain it's supposed to work in a View.Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,We recently switched from the old Adobe Analytics view to the Adobe Experience Cloud mode.In the past, we could see the Web Services details such as "User name" and "Shared Secret" under Edit Profile section in the old view.I can't find the details under Edit Profile after we started logging in through Adobe Experience Cloud.Where can find the credentials now?Thanks,Aiyanna

We have a native Salesforce Marketo integration. Our Salesforce instance operates only on Contacts, so as soon as Marketo creates a lead and syncs it to Salesforce, the conversion process begins. That process intermittently wipes the Lead Source and Lead Source Detail values to [null]. Screenshot below. In troubleshooting I have confirmed: Lead (Person) Source is properly mapped from Lead -> Contact (leadsource system field) Marketo Sync User has appropriate permissions to the fields (Visible checked, Read-only unchecked) Anyone been through this before?  

Hi All,   I have a form created in ACC, whose document type is not Recipient. Now we have a link in an email which calls the abobe form with a paramter  id=<%=escapeUrl(recipient.cryptedId)%> " We need to retrieve the value of recipient id in our form, but since its in encrypted format, how can we do that. Is this possible using the default Adobe Encryption Method, which the form preloading activity uses, Out of Box   Regards, DG

Hi There,   I created event program in which have LP with form, static list, confimration email , alert email only.  Now how I set up the flow:   In smart list:  Trigger- fills out form and web page In flowStep : 1- change statuse->registered, 2- send confirmation email, 3- send alert 4- Add to list no problem with flow, but things is, I hav set the status only to "registered" upon form filled, Still few leads are coming in Member statuses (which is no where in flow step). how is this possible, what is logic behind it? With the departure of GA4, many metrics changed that were usually measured in Universal Analytics, please I want to know if based on that adobe made a decision, or adjustment:-In Google Analytics 4 the % rebound changed, since before it had as % of rebound those users who only visited a page, now there are some events by default, scroll type, which were designed to avoid this, in Adobe Analytics as it is handled this matter?- Also in Google Analytics 4 they implemented the % interaction, for those who want to measure the opposite of the % rebound, in Adobe Analytics can this metric be obtained?   Regards

Hello, Does anyone have an (ideally copy/paste) example of how to do a showing and hiding of some fields based on the checked value of a form checkbox in AEM 6.5+? I see over here there is a CoralUI 3-based example containing a Dialog Snippet, of how to do a conditional show/hide of some AEM 6.5.12 option fields, which works well for me. I've looked at this CoralUI 3 Migration guide and it tells me that Coral.Checkbox has been promoted to a custom element, though little else I can glean. For additional context, I have existing CoralUI 2-based examples (which in their implementation I can see in the DOM add a .hidden CSS class, which doesn't seem to exist in CoralUI 3) which I'd like to migrate.  

Hi Everyone,   I am working for a client requirement where we need to design a registration form for end users who would provide some basic details (first name, last name etc). These users can be max 50K in total per year. What would be the best approach to keep this data.  Questions: is it okay to keep the user profile in aem (publish) considering 50k per year is not big number? what should be the design consideration we should keep in mind? If we choose to save it in external DB - how should we manage the session later on ?

I recently received an upgraded Mac laptop with Mac OS 10.14 Mojave. While setting up Dispatcher in my mac laptop I faced numerous issues and finally ended up with not setting up any.Here are my research and analysis. I hope it will be helpful for others.1) Mac OS 10.14 Mojave doesn't allow to copy dipatcher_module.so file into /usr/libexe/apache2 folder even as the root user. In case, if you still want to copy it, disabling SIP at OS booting by going into Debug mode is the only option(Found this on Google search, didn't try it though).2) As I couldn't copy the dispatcher_module.so file into /usr/libexe/apache2 folder, I tried to load it from another location like /usr/local/etc/apache2/, below is the error message I received.httpd: Syntax error on line xxx of /private/etc/apache2/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/etc/apache2/mod_dispatcher.so into server: dlopen(/usr/local/etc/apache2/mod_dispatcher.so, 10): no suitable image found.  Did find:\n\t/usr/local/etc/apache2/mod_dispatcher

Would the following example processing rule, with a condition to run when media heartbeat metrics are set (ie media start, content started, etc), only create the rule for those specific metrics or would it also be included for the entire HB session?   If any are true: a.media.view Is Set a.media.play Is Set   Overwrite evar1 with concatenated value: custom value: no show name if evar1 is not set  

I'm trying to capture route changes as page views for a react SPA.  I have the Adobe Analytics extension installed, and   1. Added custom code in my app that dispatches an event named `analytics` every time the route changes. It's set on the window object. I've verified this works. 2. Set up Rules with Event: Core - Custom Event, Actions: Set Variables, Send Beacon, Clear Variables.  3. In Rules - Event - Custom Event, the Event Type input is `analytics` (the same as #1) for any element. 4. In Rules - Set Variables, I have Page URL set in the Additional Settings. 5. I also have a Data Element, with Core extension and Data Element Type as Page info - URL attribute.   When I check the network tab in Chrome, I see `s` getting sent only on the initial page load, but not when the route changes. Also, when I check what `s.pageURL` is set to be in the console, it's always the initial URL even when it has changed. I've attached screenshots.
