I am sending a lot of on-off emails (eg. product release info). The recipients are unfortunately manually created each time and uploaded into each program. Is there a smart way to send reminder emails (read: send the same email again) automatically to the recipients who has not opened their email in, say 2 weeks?

I need to take AEM 6.1 back-up but I don't wanna take it neither by their default Tools->Operations->Backup system nor via curl create a script to automate. I need to create a configuration file with cron job added property so it by default take back-up after a certain period of time. I followed a blog to get an idea about it. http://www.wemblog.com/2012/03/how-to-run-online-backup-using-curl-in.htmlIn this blog, they've provided a sample backup configuration using configuration files but it's for data store only. But, it need to take the complete back-up as we do by curl or by AEM back-up. Please help me out. Regards,Himanshu

We are using HttpClientRequest to consume an external REST API in JavaScript. The external provider recently pulled support for SSL and our remote call now fails, we're told because we must now use the TLS 1.2 protocol when consuming their service.IOB-090020 Error in SSL library: 'IOB-090013 error: 14077410:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:sslv3 alert handshake failure (code 336032784)Can we force HttpClientRequest to use TLS 1.2 in code? Or does this require a ServerConf.xml file change? We're on v6 build 8931, and that build uses the latest 1.x OpenSSL libraries (so we're told).Thanks!8931

Hello!I'm setting up traffic source segments while my teams gets marketing channels up and running. I've been using tracking codes, for example:email tracking codes start with E, so my segment for email traffic would be "all hits where tracking code starts with E"However, tracking codes at my company persist for 30 days before expiring. So if someone in one visit came to the site through a email tracking code but came back the next day through typed/bookmarked, would that visit be considered both email and direct? Thanks!

Hi, I can only download 400 rows of data at a time when I create a report in Workspace. It seems there is an option called data extract that allows you to download any number of rows of data. I don't see this option using my current access level. Can someone help me on what user access do I need to have to be able to use this feature?

We are knee deep in the implementation process of AEM. We are using Assets now with our design team. I am looking to connect with someone that is using Assets to gain some insight on how your design team interacts with the DAM. Are they using the DAM just for storing finished assets or is more of a "living" repository that they are working from. If there is someone that would be interested in opening up a conversation to shed some light on your experience with AEM Assets that would be awesome.

I'm trying to remove targets from my workflow if they have not opened the last 5 emails we sent them. How would I do this?

When a PDF document is protected with a security policy from LiveCycle ES or AEM Forms, it can only be opened by Adobe Reader. Here's what it looks like when you try to open it in another PDF viewer.Microsoft Edge:Firefox (internally uses PDF.js):But I have seen secured PDF documents that in other viewers show customised content - e.g. instructions to download and install Adobe Reader. So there must be a way to add unprotected content to protected PDF files, which other PDF viewers will display. How can I do it?

Hi!Have anyone tried to customize marketo instead default checkboxes using jquery plugins (for example this one)? I'm not interested in using CSS, because it's not suitable for my design. The sctructure of checkboxes changes after using such plugins and therefore Marketo doesn't collect information from checkboxes - it doesn't work.structer before customization:after:

Submitting the form does not submit when the "File Attachment" adaptive form component exists on the adaptive form. No logged in users are proceeded, the form is published, and the submit action is the simple out of the box email submit action. On submit, in the network tab, I can see that the HTTP Request URL stops at /content/forms/af/my-test-adaptive-form/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp. Typically on a successful submission, the HTTP Request URL should go to /content/forms/af/s/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.submit.jspI performed some tests:test 1: logged in as admin- works perfectlytest 2: logged in as test-user; this user is a member of form-user group- works perfectlytest 3: anonymous user (not logged in)- like the description above, the HTTP Request URL is stuck /content/forms/af/my-test-adaptive-form/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsptest 4: anonymous user (not logged in); his user is a member of the administrator's group- like the description above

I am working on cleaning up our database by focusing on removing invalid emails who are not leads. I know, for the most part that the best practice is to keep unsubscribes in the database so that we do not send to these contacts in the future. Though, if an unsubscribed contact is also categorized as invalid, can I remove the contact from our database or is the best practice to keep the lead in our database?

Hello,I'm wondering how other people do this. I'd like to have a single form for asset downloads that routes to a thank you page related to the asset (planning to use a token for the download link, related assets, page name, etc). Is this possible with Forms 2.0?

Hi,I have been working on 6.2 for some years now. However I looked at 6.4 features and saw that some forms can use json as its form model. I wanted to know if this will also be possible with XDP form templates?ThanksTys

Hi guys,I have heard that we have an option to integrate Adobe with Litmus. Is there a documentation on this or how to set it up?Regards,Raúl

Hi,I am on the premise server for about 2 years now. I wonder if it's save now to add field(s) by going to Tools > Advanced > Add new fields. Will it cause any issue to the system functionality and stability? Also how can I edit the exiting field name in a table? Thanks,Jason

Im bringing in data by JSSP. I can subscribe and write to the rec table, but I want a single view of all JSSP submissions for for good record keeping. So I'd like to simply add all submissions via JSSP to a list. I am getting an error with this.var rcp =     <recipient      _operation="insertOrUpdate"      _key="@email"      xtkschema="nms:recipient"      firstName={request.getParameter("firstName")}      lastName={request.getParameter("lastName")}      email={request.getParameter("email")}>       />;           var list = <rcpGrpRel _key="[rcpGroup/@name] email={request.getParameter("email")} name="LST16133"/>;    var svc = <service>{request.getParameter("serviceName")}</service>;    var create = true;         nms.subscription.Subscribe(svc,rcp,create);     xtk.session.Write(list);But this is returning this error.JST-310000 Error while compiling script 'get_we_simpleFormSubmit_jssp' line 18: invalid XML tag syntax (line=' var list = <rcpGrpRel _key="[rcpGr

I was going through https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-3/develop/the-basics/designer.html document which highly recommends to store images and CSS files under /etc/design/<project>. The reasoning given is that re-designing of the website can be simply done by pointing the design path to a different node at the root of the site from design/v1 to design/v2. A code snippet for an image was given there, however when we talk about re-designing, this is more than just using different images (which we can anyways do using inherited parsys) and mostly comes down on how to switch ClientLibs for a particular section of the site. I was not able to use this Design and Designer to do so since ClientLibs are included based on category and not on the path. So unless I use a naming convention which is more of a custom code, I am not able to switch ClientLib by asking my marketer to just change the design path. Am I missing something here please?
