We have some emails where we use script tokens to sort the opportunities on a person's record by a datetime field and output a data value from the opportunity with the newest datetime in that specific field. However, we're finding that the tokens periodically fail, resulting in the email soft bouncing (the sender name and email address are two of the fields output by these tokens). However, when I look at the records on which they fail, the required sort fields are all present on the opportunity at the point that the email sends, so I'm at a loss as to why they fail.  Has anyone encountered this? I need to send the People performance report for any new lead on a daily basis. this report needs to be sent via email to my manager on a daily basis.  How is this possible? what are the set ups that need to be incorporated in marketo for this.

In reviewing the Sent and Delivered Activity retention changes, it says "...any date range greater than 90 days will not return results". What happens in a flow step choice, for example,If <Not was sent email> is <Email name> ?Will this still work? Will it return true if the email was sent more than 90 days ago? Is there an assumed "in the past 90 days" to the <Not was sent email> choice? I know the policy says it only affects smart lists, but choices are usually special cases of smart list filters being applied during the flow, and because we can't qualify the choice with a date period, we can't limit it to the past 90 days.I'd welcome clarification @matt_pergram ?Thanks

Will Engagement Programs retain perpetually that someone has been sent a piece of content in the stream beyond 90 days? It would be a very unfortunate side effect of this policy if people start getting content repeated if they remain in a stream for longer than 90 days...@matt_pergram  can you comment please?

How do I limit what records that get pulled in to marketo with the salesforce sync? If I create a Marketo Sync check box on the contact and lead objects in salesforce and only want the records with the check box checked to sync to marketo, what updates need to be done in Marketo? Also, will that remove records from marketo that were already synced?

We are seeing security warnings for all of our landing pages when using Firefox - but not, with one exception, when using Chrome. Hi! I'm hosting a simulated webinar on gotowebinar - so I use a webhook to register people from marketo and push them to go webinar.  Most of the my people are being registered but I have a bunch that are not.  When I look at the activity log no errors are showing.  Example of response: {"id": "9c279979-a8a4-4b03-971e-84d989e24513", "request_id": "5e8e052c-4363-4b4e-aaaf-1a6095c0c820", "attempt": "5e8e052c-4363-4b4e-aaaf-1a6095c0c820", "status": "success"} Any ideas why this is happening?

We just came across an interesting issue with one of our forms. We have a contact form that asks for country. If they choose the US we have a conditional State field that appears and is required. But we have found persons who selected the US in that form, never selected a State(required) and they successfully submitted the form. It has been suggested that the field could have been blocked by a setting in the user's browser. Has anyone come across this before and do you know of any reference around this issue? I've never seen this before and would love to understand more if this is true. I haven't found anything on the forum or on Google, but I may not be wording the search right.

Hi All - I was wondering if anyone knew how to create user-friendly landing pages in Marketo? I have a 10-page document that I need to turn into a landing page but with the current templates that I have, this will not work. I know there is a website where you can download pre-made templates but it's hard to edit the fields and add more sections in for content. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi! I'm very new to Marketo... but I was hoping to get some insight from anyone who has embedded a Marketo form on an Instapage landing page. I know they have an integration, but due to GDPR compliance, we really need to use a Marketo form, and not the integration. My web designer was having some issues getting things to render correctly on Instapage and I was just hoping to hear if anyone had experience/success with this before I dove into the details. Hi All, I created a program that is supposed to send an email blast based on Activity being logged in salesforce. I have it set up to run as a batch once a day.Based on the way I have it set up, the emails were going to me and not to the actual contact, would love to know what I may be missing in this set up.

Is it possible to leverage a lead token on a landing page that is linked from a Marketo Sales Email template? Here's the scenario, we have email templates in Marketo Sales Insight that have a link to a Marketo landing page. The Lead Owner wants the phone number on the Landing Page to match the Lead Owner's Phone number instead of a general phone number.  I tried testing this using the Lead Owner Phone Number token but it didn't populate as expected when I clicked the link from the MSI email.  Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!Anna

Hello,  I have TWO filters that include 'not contains' and 'is not' and want to make sure neither value appears in my smart list.  Most of the members won't have both but I want to make sure that if they have one, they are excluded.  Should I use (4 and 5) instead of (4 or 5)?  Attached is a screenshot. Filters 4 and 5 are the ones in question.     

If I specify a "Today" in the form editor the value does not update. So tomorrow it would still read 2/22/2017. What I want, is for the default value in the field to be set to TODAY such that it updates for the current day. What is the best way to accomplish this? Or is the documentation someone can point me towards.Thanks!

We’ve been working on a new feature that would allow users to export the Opportunity Influence Analyzer data into Excel.  Please see an example screenshot below.  If the account has multiple opportunities, the Excel would include those.  The green area represents all the interactions when the opportunity was open. I’d love to hear your feedback and suggestions.  Thanks.

What is the best way to create personalized landing pages for our salespeople?  I'd like to provide them landing pages so they can send their existing customers to their page so they can then submit referrals to us.  UTM seems the way to go but I'm also wondering about the possibility of personalized landing pages for sales reps.  I would like to post the sales rep name, phone number and picture on each page, but I need it to be dynamic in that we have over 150 reps.  I don't want to create 150 landing pages... thanks for any advice you can give.Ed

I installed MSI for Outlook and everything works, but when I send an email now every time the only option I have is to send with Marketo.  How do I get the regular send button back so it does not log in Marketo everytime. There are some emails I send internally that I don't want being logged or creating new leads.  Is there a way to pick and choose which emails get logged?
