We had a requirement wherein it was required for us to do the customization of OOTB Breadcrumb CIF component. As OOTB Breadcrumb CIF component internally inherits Breadcrumb Core component, it was using Sling Delegation Pattern for the same. But now, when we tried to using the same logic and use Delegation Pattern for our custom breadcrumb component which inherits OOTB Breadcrumb CIF component, it has started to give us a Null object for the same. Below are the levels of inheritance we are following:CustomBreadcrumbImpl <- CIF BreadcrumbImpl <- WCM BreadcrumbImpl Below is the code snippet through which I am trying to access the object.import com.adobe.cq.commerce.core.components.models.breadcrumb.Breadcrumb;@Model(adaptables = SlingHttpServletRequest.class, adapters = { Breadcrumb.class,CustomBreadcrumb.class }, defaultInjectionStrategy = DefaultInjectionStrategy.OPTIONAL, resourceType = "project/components/commerce/breadcrumb")public class CustomBreadcrumbImpl imp

Hi All, I am trying pull data from VRS ( I have admin access for this)  using Adobe Analytics API ,but It is showing I don't have access the VRS when I am calling the API.  Here I am using JWT Authentication method to achieve it. On idea: I'd like more control over how and when data elements are evaluated. Issue:You have a data element that accesses an object/property: "page.name[0].length"If that object or property doesn't exist (or you know it will show up later), JS throws undefined errors as soon as the page loads. Idea:If I could say something like "delay initial execution" - and in theory what it would do is only evaluate the DE when it's called upon in a rule, that might help.  The rule could be based on a Custom Event or a Direct Call, where I know the object is present

Happy New Year!! I have a scenario where I am connecting to HR data to search for terminated users and deactivate them in WF. The process itself is very simple, but I am running into an issue with the 2000 maximum search limit. We have over 2000 users, so basically the functionality works, but only for the first 2000 users. I am guessing I am missing something silly that will allow me to search all users, but I am not sure what I am missing. Use Case:Pull all HR user records and then search WF for user records that do not match and deactivating those users. Thanks!!

Hi, I need to setup a new Brand on our instance in AC Standard. Do I need to contact Adobe Customer Care to have it setup, or is it possible to setup as an Admin in AC? I don't see an available menu item or button to create new Brands.  Thank you for any help with this,JohnnyBravo

Hi All, I am configuration dispatcher in cloud manager , updating files in these folders conf.dconf.dispatcher.d I have added few rewrite rules in  "conf.d/rewrites/rewrite.rules"  this files but these are giving " [Actionblocked]  " error in the dispatcher log file. rules are not working.​do we need to do any setting in cloud manager ?

Do we use the same Adobe SDK for iOS and tvOS? Or there is separate SDK for each OS? thank you

Hello All, We are experiencing an issue related to cq-msm-lockables only on PROD environment. The inheritance chain icons are not coming for any of the page properties (In live-copies). The same is working on other local environments like DEV/STAGE and even on local vanilla instances as well. Did anyone experienced similar kind of issue? ** AEM Version 6.5.9-1** No errors in console as well as in error logs** Inheritance functionality is working only the chain icons corresponding to the page properties is not coming. Any pointers on this would be really appreciated!!Thanks in Advance!! Regards,Tanika

When you upgrade AEM AaCS environment, do you always have to take the very latest update or is there a way to choose?If you have to take the latest, then what is the best practice for testing the update through the environments.  With the mini releases, how can you be sure by the time you get to actually upgrading production, that it is the same version that was tested throughout the process?

I updated one of my custom forms to replace an existing field with a new one that included ability to format. Unfortunately I didn't realize that removing the field would also remove the information in that field (I thought maybe it would retain the old look until the issue was edited) Is there anyway to get that information back or is it gone forever?

Hi Community, I'm struggling to check if my tracking is well implemented in my App. I'm testing on BrowserStack. I imported my package for iOS & Android to App Live section.Last July I did a check and in the Newtork Tab I think I can remember that I was able to filter the data with either "smetric" or "/b/ss/" to find the beacon and see which data is sent to Adobe.  I first choose :Now while I'm navigating to the app, I'm not able to find any beacon or hit that has been sent to Adobe.In the meantime, when I go to a webview page (such as the user account) I can now see the hits/beacon being sent to Adobe. My questions are :- Does anyone can help me to understand why I can't see any of these in my app but I can see them on the webview?- Do you have any documentation about how to debugg it ?  Thank you for your help.

The documentation online simply doesn't click with my thinking. Also the online documentation would be much better if each function actually showed a real world usage.

Hi Team,I have one case in which Adobe Campaign behaves weird.I have applied Insert or Update Activity to Insert record in schema still sometimes workflow errors me and tells that record already exist.As it is Upsert activity, it should update if record exist but it does not do.I am thinking multiple entities are trying to insert record at the same time.Can anyone please help me in this.Can we check in the schema from where that record in inserted(i.e. which entity is inserting that record) if incase from two places it was inserting at same time.?Thanks in Advance.  

Hi Minds,I get this error recently when trying to log into my Adobe Analytics account and go into the analytics reporting section. This is not a new account as I have been using this from more than 6 months now. I use Chrome on HP Probook. I also tried logging in on Firefox, but got the same error, which is strange. Also, I tried login after clearing Cache and Cookies. Please let me know what I could do to fix this. Thank you!

currently we are using static html page in iframe, we need to remove iframe and make it  as AEM component based.How to do this? please provide the solution.I am new to the AEM. Thanks in Advance. 

I used the latest archetype for the WKND component (version=35).This uses newer version of wcm.components.core (2.17.12), unlike my AEM instance which uses lower version of wcm.components.core (2.3.2).When, generating and installing with maven, there is an error for the api bundle: com.day.cq.wcm.api,version=[1.28,2) -- Cannot be resolvedFrom here, the "en.html" page is empty and no components are available to insert. This is because of another error which states:com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.Page cannot be resolved to a typeDoes anyone have a solution to this?

Hi Community, I am looking for some help with regards to setting up some alerting which will help me notify in an event there is/are workflows created with Keep Interim Results enabled in the Production UI. I am aware this is not recommended, however, teams create wkfs with this enabled and I want to proactively notify them and catch these wkfs via notifications. so far, I have been able to use a query activity and using wkf resource, configure the list with column keep results, the preview gives me workflows which have a Yes or No status for the Keep Interim results.   can someone please guide me on how to use this information further to set up some notification?example: I have a result like the above image which has no workflows with keep interim results as YES, now someone create a wkf within the UI and enables the keep results within it, my plan is to run the wkf once a day and query the wks and notify me if there is a workflow found with keep interim

Hi, I have quite a few extensions that have available upgrades: Core, Adobe Analytics and Cloud ID service. I know how to technically roll out an upgrade in Launch, but I was wondering if there are best practices (e.g. regarding testing), that I should take into consideration before I proceed. Also, are there any considerable risks of data collection issues if I upgrade one of these specific extensions?
