Hey All, So I am working with a client that has a bunch of web services on their servers. They whitelist servers that can access those services, but they have AEM Cloud Service. The primary problem is there is no set up IP addresses to "whitelist" as since these AEM "instances" are services and could be many different IP addresses. I was wondering what some options people have done in the past.

What are the recommendations/best practices for conditionally modifying links of actions from the Teaser component based on various business rules. Environment:- AEM 6.5.8- Core Components 2.14.0 Use Case:Authors add the Teaser component to a page. While doing so, they enable and add actions to the Teaser component. When the page is rendered, we would like to add a query string to the URL associated with the action based on conditions defined by business rules. So, for certain links, we would like them to appear as https://ourcompany.com/products/ourproduct1.html?param1=1234&param2=abcd, but, for others it would simply appear as https://ourcompany.com/products/ourproduct2.html. We have tried both front-end and backend solutions. On the front-end, we have tried to overlay the action.html file to pass the ${action.URL} parameter to javascript in order to take the original value entered by the author and modify it per requirements. Hi!We are building large, multi-tabbed panel forms for government use. Our toolbar with "Previous" and "Next" buttons is at the bottom of the page.When we click on the tab or the buttons and go to a new tab-panel, if the first item is a form input, the browser will focus on that first item.However, if the panel starts with text, then there is no focus on the page, and if the user was at the bottom of the form on the previous tab, they will still be there so have to scroll back to the top.We've been looking for a way to make sure that upon changing tab panels, the user is at the top of the panel, no matter if there is a form field or static text.Alternately, we thought we might put code on the Back and Next buttons to force to the top of the page (jQuery('html,body').animate({scrollTop:0},0);), but putting any onClick code into the rules for those buttons breaks their functionality.Anybody run into this usability issue and find a good solution?

Hi,   I have some data fields in my instance that are filled with json data. I am looking for a solution to be able to parse that data within marketo at night: e.g. within the json I have a date, which should be copied to a 'date field', which in turn would be used to do date comparisons.   Is there a wat to do that? Can I use Velocity for this? Any suggestions?

I've this DM component added to a page. When emulating media print using the browser the DM video poster is not displaying at all. It's working fine with media screen css. When checking the poster URL in a browser window, it's loading the image.

HelloThe live training recorded session video has a lot of glitches and specifically from the time 7:41 to 1:47:00, the display is not visible as well as the audio is inaudible and the whole part is missing. The video keeps loading for a long time.As we were unable to attend the live session due to the time zone difference, kindly look into it and resolve the issue as soon as possible. Hello All,Can someone help me how to disable the crx/de to content authors in AEM author and publish instances. I am able to disable from welcome screen (How to limit access to CRX and CRXDE Light )but when author comes and types localhost:4502/crx/de/index.jsp he is able to see the nodes inside it.I went through helpx docs and i didn't find anything related to it. I'm building a user report that shows the alignment of users to their respective groups and job roles. I am displaying their primary job roles, but for some teams, they have many job roles. I'm trying to create a column that displays all job roles a user is aligned to. Here's the code to list out all groups associated to a user... tried to use this and replicate for Job Roles, but couldn't get there. I'm trying to understand the how many nodes I can traverse through Query builder query and fetch data from the repository without impacting AEM system performance? 

Currently we are trying to index our site (with 40K pages) using a scheduler Job to SOLR server.I have tried web page scraping using HTMLUnit and Jsoup, but both approaches take 10+s to form the required model object to be sent to SOLR.I was able to form the model object using ModelExporter (getting jcr:content as JSON) within 1s. This works fine for single page. But when I run using scheduler (which iterates over the pages), it takes 2-3s. so the full site indexing takes 24 hours. Does anyone has any idea on how to do this optimally or any AEM server activity which can speed this up ?
