Can we use AEM Workflows to send email notifications to a list of people whenever an author creates a document?

I'm starting to work with metadata profiles and want to set up a new DAM folder structure to leverage them. We use a lot of drop downs, tied to dictionaries, and I'm not seeing the option to include a drop down in a metadata profile. I see it in the schemas, but not profiles. Is there a way to do this?  To further clarify, I want to leverage profiles to automatically populate some of our metadata fields. For example, we are introducing a "public" folder and I want to set up a profile to automatically enter a distribution field with "external" and a data classification field as "public", taking the work off our digital authors. Both fields are currently drop down fields in the schema. I can't create a profile for this because the drop down field option is not available for profiles. 

I work for the Department of Child Safety for the State of Arizona. I generate 100s of forms per year and it the inability of form fields to "grow" with available content has become an issue. What software do I need to look at and present to my directors and the I.T. staff that will allow me to do this? Is it possible to still do this within a PDF framework, XFA forms? Livecycle seems to be dead and AEM seems to have replaced it but I am not sure if AEM is web-based only now? There is a heavy print component of this process as collected data needs to be printed in instances such as court appearances etc. So, Where do I start?

Is it possible in any way to manually move a person backwards to an earlier event program status as defined in the Channel editor in Admin. In the case where someone has been accidentally progressed to a status, how can I revert and change them back?  Or do i need to delete them from the program an then re-add them back into the program? Hi Experts, We have one use case where we want to call third party API (salesforce API) from AEM. AEM will called the API and get response and send the response to angular to consume it on UI. Here client's expectation is to use the OAuth token approach to make the call to salesforce API instead of client ID and secret. Did anyone handled this usecase by using OAtuth token? If yes then could you please share the steps to handle it? or any documentation ? ~Samer

After reviewing the Marketing channel processing rule, I don't find any issues or update in the rule. This is happening from last two months. Currently I have noticed multiple urls like this in Google Search Console (which means Google is indexing them)https://www.test.com/mypage.2.html, https://www.test.com/mypage.3.html, where it should have only https://www.test.com/mypage.html indexed.Because of this, ‘a duplicate url exists’ and ‘page indexed without content’ issue is being raised by Google and which has resulted a significant drop in rankings. Any Suggestion?

I would like to asking if anyway to create the segment with specify the date range, refer to screen shot I would like to exclude the url end with A or A# between Jan2020- Dec2020 as sample. but it's good to including in 2021

I noticed recently a slowdown in performance and went to check for Session leaks after almost 2 years of stability.  I noticed over 430 SessionStatistics but none have any values in the stacktrace field.  Shouldn't I be seeing the trace of what opened the Session?  What could this mean?There are a ridiculous number of repository-reader-services and sling-scripting@sessions.Another question, is there any side-effect if a user shared their login with 15 other people and they are all using the same user at the same time?

I'm interested in enriching every lead in my Marketo database daily with data from a different tool within our tech stack.    I'm running into an issue with the native integration between this tool and Marketo that's causing duplicates to be created within Marketo. So, I'm exploring alternatives.    One idea I have is to configure Marketo to "ask" the tool for the data about each lead. Because Marketo would only ask for data about leads who already exist in Marketo, I believe I'd eliminate the risk of duplicates. I'm looking at leveraging Marketo webhooks to make this happen. Going this route would mean sending tens of thousands of webhooks from Marketo to the tool every day. I'd schedule so that this process ran overnight or on the weekends when there's less happening within our Marketo instance.    How many webhooks are too many? What are the limitations? Is this a bad idea? Why? Ideas for a better way to solve?

Question: How to track clicks on Marketo landing page link in a non-Marketo email, when the landing page is simply a redirect to an external landing page?    Here's the situation: Our BDRs are sending emails to prospects out of Salesloft. The email has a link to an upcoming industry tradeshow, not affiliated with our company. To try to get some information about who is potentially registering for the show, we created a dummy landing page in Marketo and then created a redirect from that landing page to the external tradeshow registration page. The BDRs are now using the Marketo page link in the emails instead of the direct link to the show.   What do we need to do to track the visitors who click on the email link and "pass through" the Marketo landing page?    Thanks in advance for any help.    Deb McKenzie
