Hey there,I'd like to build an website, which communicates through the target API in this manner: (https://mc.adobe.io/xxxxxxxxxxx/target/activities) and responds with a JSON I can then display in a table format on the frontend. However I'm blocked by CORS policy and I've read, that this is like this because of security reasons.Is there any best-practice on how to achieve on what I want?Kind regards and thanks a lot for your answers in advance,Nikola

Hi Everyone, Currently I have an on-premise AEM 6.5 that is running a bundle in Author instance. This bundle provides the middleware API to communicate with the Adobe templates.  As an admin, I like to avoid adding users in the Administrator's group unless it is absolutely necessary. I like to create a new user group that provides sufficient permissions and access level for the users in the group to perform their task successfully.  1. What steps need to be taken to create this user group? 2. Are there any existing groups in Adobe default setup that can be added to the User Group?3. If I have a remote server with AEM installed can I push my current code with something as simple as:mvn clean install -PautoInstallDevPackage -U -Daem.host=test-author.dev.com -Daem.port=4502 -DUserName=admin-Dpassword=admin Or do I need to use cURL? POM? I haven't been able to find much information on how I can push my local changes to a remove server for some reason.

I've set up a number of hourly alerts. I am wondering if it is possible to restrict the hours that the alerts check? For example, is it possible to exclude the hours of 1am - 6am? Has anyone been able to do this. Thanks!- James

Is it possible to write a velocity script that references multiple custom objects? This is a repeat question I'd asked - unanswered - in a subgroup on this site, so apologies if I'm over-posting... (edited to add PDF to illustrate the current observed behavior). Is there a way to convert/coerce a variable data type to be a number instead of a string - particularly in the Set Variable module? I'm using the Set Variable module to initially set a var to zero; it treats it like a string. So after I set it, under certain conditions, I take the current variable value and have it add +1 to itself in a subsequent module. And I'm noticing that the subsequent module that adds 1 to the variable looks at the 0 as a string and sets the new value to "01". If I test-feed it a 3, it sets the value to "31". If I feed it a 3, I would instead want it to compute and set the variable to 4. I'm not picky about whether it's an integer or float as long as I can do math with it. How do I let Fusion know I want this to be a number and not a string?

In AEM author, the content editors can create vanity urls and "redirect vaninty url" in the pages properties basic tab. However, we cant find any documentation for these features, and they dont seem to work. If the normal page url is mystite.com/helppages/somepage.html, and we add a vanity url of "help", what should be the result:a) mysite.com/helppages/help/b) mysite.com/help When we publish a page with a vanity url set, neither of these work (get "The requested URL was not found on this server.") Also, if its b), how does this not break relative urls etc? How does the redirect work? does it redirect from the vanity url to the real url, or vice versa? Again this feature does not work for us. we also tried creating the vanity url to be help.html (although marketing dont want the html).  This also does not work.  get: Cannot serve request to /content/xxx/xxx/help.html on this server, the same as typing in any other page which does not exist.&

We are seeing inferred data populate sometimes and sometimes not via the Web Service API. I've heard that inferred data populates on the second page hit? Is this true? If no inferred data is being populated does that mean that my leads are converting on their first visit? Is there any change we can make to settings so that inferred data is captured all the time?

We have a resource center with a typical flow for the unknown visitor:   For the known visitor we want to bypass the second to last step of "gets thank you page with link to asset" and provide the asset directly from the form page: @sanfordwhiteman we are using 1 form for all of our assets and I wanted to stay out of Marketo if possible to make this flow happen to reduce Marketo maintenance when adding new ones. Ideas? Thank you!

Is there any difference between referrers report and referring domain report in Adobe Analytics. I can see both the reports are under Acquisition. Thank you in advance.Rashid

Hi All, Currently I'm making mass changes where i'm using a marketing channel page and copying all the channel names and processing rules from that one onto about 20+ other report suites. Being that they're all exactly the same, is there a way to copy these changes en masse or do I need to continue individually changing each one? Let me know your thoughts. Thank you, 

Recently we have installed AEM 6.5 SP8 for 2 authors and 3 publishers.All the other aem instances are going well so far apart from one publisher instance.The publisher redirects whenever we access the assets under /content/dam/. In this case, I tested on publisher itself via ip so no dispatcher gets involved. I check whether any /etc/map gets set up with any redirection rule but nothing apart from page redirection(I tried removing this mappings also but no luck). I even restarted the publisher instance. But I couldn't see any change. Can anyone advise me on anything else I should check? Or may I know if there is anyone encountering the similar issue with me?

Our team has recently being tasked to move over from Eclipse to Intellij utilising Bitbucket for Repo. Intellij and Bitbucket is working well, but the Intellij and AEM local does not seem to work yet.  Any suggestions on Plugins, most of the plugins in the tutorials we found seems to not be available anymore on the marketplace and have been depreciated. 

Our client got a Lighthouse report on their AEM site, the reports pointed out some performance issues caused by font files(*.woff2) files being loaded slowly, here is the suggested method to fix:Consider using '<link rel=preload>' to prioritize resources that are currently requested later in page load However as font files are referenced by css, which is included in clientLib, the OOTB method of including clientLib does not allow us to add "rel=preload" into source code, I am wondering what is the best approach. I tried adding hard-coded lines to preload font files directly by updating template file, however, the new Lighthouse report pointed out that the preloaded file was not used by the browser. How to handle the request of adding "preload" to improve performance
