Hi Team, We are trying to import the users from the excel or csv file to  specified group in AEM on AEM 6.4, I tried the steps mentioned in Adobe Experience Manager Help | Creating a custom Excel Service for Adobe Experience Manager but no luck , any pointers or alternate way to achieve it on AEM 6.4 ??

If we have 2 author instances in cluster with MongoDB, where are the Web Console Configuration saved?I mean, changing any bundle configuration from: /system/console/configMgr. They are saved in MongoDB or filesystem? Configuration are shared between the 2 Author instances or stored separetely and so could be different in the 2 instances?Any documentation available on this?

Hello,We have a task in the inbox, and as i see in AEM 5.6.1, on click of the link under "Content" column (as provided in snapshot attached),  I see the link being 1. http://localhost:4502/bin/wcmcommand?cmd=open&path=%252Fcontent%252Fcampaigns%252......Instead of2. http://localhost:4502/content/campaigns/.....This occurs in 5.6.1 instance Only and not in 5.6. As a result when i click on the incorrect link that AEM provides,[1] above, we get a 404, page not found error.Can someone please confirm if this is a defect.Regards,Nicole

Hi,we have a requirement to ignore warning for one of the package type to import it. Can some one help what should be added or command for doing that.package -instance:stage -import:/sftp/incoming/from_campaign/test/<%= instance.vars.packageName %> -verbosewhen importing manually it fails if you do not select ignore warning because the package has some reference to internal value not present in next environment.

Hello,I have a use case requested by our customer related to all exports done from ACC interface. Due to some compliance rules they want to have a recorded history for any export done from ACC interface (including right click -> Export functionality), record where they can check the user that triggered the export, the date of the export and the dimension for which the export was triggered.My first option was to go to the input forms and change these configurations to have such a recorded history customized. But my question would be: is there any OOTB known way of achieving the same functionality?

I was trying to run the AEM 6.4.0 in my machine(Windows 10).  The AEM instance can be started but i am not able to see the components when edit the content page.  Anyone knows how to fix this? BTW. I also tried on a iOS, it looks fine. 

if i have admin credentials, and there is no public access to /system, /crx, /apps or anything but /etc and /content, can i install bundles or packages from a public ip using those credentials? 

Hi TeamCurrently we are in AEM 6.4.8 and we are having Issue on getting asset reference details from Dam on selecting entire folder,Howwever when selecting assets inside the folder it's gives reference details as excepted.   

Dynamic Media is installed and runmode is set.  I have the option to create both in the Create menu of the Assets UI but when attempting to add assets to the spin set or mixed media set, no assets are added.  It allows me to select the assets and click "Select":But after clicking Select, no assets are added.  Here is the view I see for, as an example, a mixed media set:The asset shown there is empty and was there before I added anything.  No errors are thrown in the log. I get this same issue on both GA 6.3 and 6.3.0.2.  Am I missing an install of a feature pack or something here?  I have tried with https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-3/release-notes/dynamic-media-featurepack-14410.html installed as well but to no avail.  Thanks!

The idea is to have a centralized notification program for internal notifications. Tokens are used in the content for the mail. ( e.g. the subject for the notification )I have defined a token at the highest level :  {{my.Notification_Title}} A certain operational program overrides the value for that token , when the operational program is triggered,  a smart campaign in my centralized notification program is called. I was expecting the "local" updated {{my.Notification_Title}} to appear in the mail sent, but i see the default value from the definition at the highest level.What am i doing wrong here?

Hi , We're in the process of converting all of our Classic UI dialogs to Touch UI using the dialog conversion tool. We're using the showhide xtype in a lot of our form field components and we're looking for an equivalent or alternative widget for the Touch UI. Any suggestions?Description about showhide xtype widgets:-I'm referring to the specific showhide xtype which handles show/hide logic for the HTML elements in a web form, not widgets in a dialog. The values captured in this xtype are passed along to the Abacus JS which handles form logic for components that extend OOTB form field components. Below is a screenshot of the showhide xtype. Hi Members,In my current project template policies are named like policy_<some hash> but I have created one template policy with different naming convention like in below image with RED underlined, when I deploy the code with -PautoInstallPackage maven profile it does not deploy that policy with different naming convention.So my question is that is there any place where I need to make this policy or naming convention enable to be picked up by Maven ? Looking for your kindly response.ThanksUmesh Thakur 

When we re-order by dragging pages by the handles in list view into Alphabetical order in AEM, it always shows in the timeline that the author "moved" the page.  Is that expected behavior.  ?

Is there a solution that can provide an Active-Active Authoring configuration for AEM, with 1 Author node inside the china firewall, and 1 Author node outside the china firewall?The result would be to allow users inside the China firewall to access the CMS with the node inside the china firewall, and all users outside the china firewall to access the CMS with the node outside the china firewall.This way the content can be shared across the 2 regions? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks, Luciano.

Hi All,We are using AEM 6.4.8. For the Assets(http://localhost:4502/assets.html/content/dam), the "reordering" of the assets is not working in List View. This behavior is not experienced in Pages(sites.html). Is anyone experiencing this issue? Let me know If anyone have similar Issue or anyone have any solution. Thanks,Prince.

Hi ,Currently I am working on AEM 6.5.4 project. Where we have requirement like whenever author crop an image (eg: 2:3 or free hand) it should store as a new image instead overwriting the original image. As of now default behavior is the new cropped image is overwriting existing image.Did someone came through this requirement ? it would be great if anyone can give similar examples how to achieve this requirement. Hi, I am trying to build an SPA with Angular in AEM. Adobe has done a good job in giving step too step instructions on how to build one. However, I am trying to understand how does the AEM Clientlib generator work exactly while compiling the Angular JS and CSS files to be included as ClientLibs in the ui.apps module. I would love to know more about it to see if there are any customizations I am able to do to it and also the core functionality of it as well. Any information you might be able to provide would be of great help. Thanks for the help in advance.

I am planning to send an email to customers who are in their sales cycle, its information is stored and fetched from our CRM The expectation is when the customer clicks on reply to address the email of the sales manager must be populated and not a generic address is it possible? Also, does it harm ip or domain reputation in any manner?
