Is it normal for "App Users" (prebuilt Adobe calc metric) to be higher than the sum of First Launches + Upgrades when looking at a specific App id? 

I am creating a countdown timer using Datepicker. The user can select a future date from today for the countdown timer. When authoring this the user is able to select the date but when entering the time it is not mentioned anywhere whether it is a 24 hour time or not. By default it is 24 hour. I want to make it to 12 hour format so that the user can select AM/PM aswell. Let me know if it is possible in this scenario or I will have to use some other aproach.

Hi Team, We are designing landing page with certain attributes and service. We are getting all values in the first part of landing page. But, When We click on the submit button i.e. of action type another confirmation page is being displayed where we have put firstname & lastname from the profile table. Both these values are not getting picked from the profile.Can you please let me know if it is possible to display personalized field values in confirmation page of browser? Thanks,

We are implementing a new real-time site search box on our pages. Previously we've had a search box where you type a word, press enter (or the icon) and then the search results appear on a new page. We have used a prop to collect the search terms and all was well. The new set up will see users start to type their word, and results will start to appear based on each key stroke they make, with no need to click enter. We can change the minimum key strokes to what we want, currently set to 3 I think before results start to appear. I have no idea how to tag this. Dev team has tried using a prop like before, but of course this will fire with every key stroke (so if someone wanted to search for "dental", I would start getting results at "den", then again at "dent", then again at "denta"...depending on how much a user types. You get the picture. Not sure how beneficial this would be in terms of insight?!  Is there a better way to tag this?! I am stumped. Thanks in advance &

Here is what I'm being told from above that I need to solve for. I can't figure this out.Think of our product model as DirecTV. A customer can go online and select (subscribe) to any channel or combination of channels they choose. - - So I have 10 ala carte products and a new subscriber signs up to any 1 single product or any number combination up to all 10 products. I only want ONE email to be sent per new subscriber regardless of how many products they subscribed to at one time. Then I will send a 2nd email later. Is it possible - and practical - to acknowledge each product they subscribed to uniquely with a text block and/or image for each AND a different text block promoting the products they did not subscribe to? And if not, what is the best way to handle this type of situation?So many questions: 1. Segmentation logic? 2. Snippets, dynamic emails or unique streams or programs? 3. Engagement or Default Programs? 4. How to ensure ONLY 1 email regardless of new subscriptions deploys?

Hi, This is such a basic thing but I can literally find zero documentation or info anywhere (typical Adobe). If I wanted to email a Data Warehouse export to multiple email addresses how would I go about this? Can I provide a comma-separated list in the 'To' field? It's not obvious at all what the protocol is. Thanks

 Hello Friends,  I am new in adobe analytics. So I would like to check with you how I can export a segment from adobe analytics to an FTP location every week.  We want to export data of a segment from analytics to FTP location every weekly. Every week a new file should be exported from analytics and only new data should be there.  I find documentation to implement it. URL: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/data-workbench/using/client/export-data/exporting-data.html is it the best approach to implement it?  As it mentioned in this documentation, we need to set up tow export configuration file FTPServerInfo.cfg and FTPUserCredentials.cfg.are these files setup by adobe support or we have to do it by our self?  Please add any points if I am missing.  Thanks.Parvesh.  

I am trying to send a proof to recurring delivery following the steps given in this question.However, everything works fine when i use "Definition of a specific proof target". But, if I use "Substitution of address" I get an error as given below:I have no personalization field in my email template. I tried disabling all typologies rule, but no success. I also removed click and open tracking formula, but no success. I am not sure where where this @id is getting inserted into the recurring delivery. How to resolve this error?Does recurring delivery proof works with "Substitution of address"? If not, then how can we test the deliveries which has personalized field populated from workflow table data (e.g data from a file?) i.e. targetData.<fieldName>

We are hosting embedded Marketo forms on our website. When a user fills it in, a thank you page loads. If the user did not opt-in on the prior page's form, a query string vaue "opt-in" is updated to "no," which triggers a dynamic section of the web page to display soliciting the opt in. This section includes a single field form to capture email address and opt the user in.  Because the user would have just filled out a form on the previous page, we'd like to populate the field with the email that had just been submitted. Originally, we were passing the email value in the query string, however that went against GA compliance since we would have been capturing PII in our web analytics.  Is there another way to leverage the Custom HTML for Known Visitor or other Marketo-based capability to enable this functionality?

Hi there, I'm trying to wrap my head around a Salesforce-specific use case: I would like to use data from a case related to the contact's account in my email template. I would also like to write an activity (task) into the case when the email is opened. The scenario unfolds as this:I created a case X under Account AI add Contact B from Account A to my campaign CWhen setting up the template, I want to pull in information from case X to the email template.When the recipient opens the email, I want Marketo to write an activity under case X. So I do know that I can use the custom object sync to make case data available in Marketo, but how can I make sure I pull data from the correct record? And how can I write back into that specific case? Any ideas how to manage this would be appreciated.

My organization implemented Marketo last year.  We have the Dedicated IP feature but also ended up delivering email through a corporate email relay (Marketo>Corporate email relay>Internet).  While they did several months of 'IP Warming', we are now planning to disconnect from the corporate email relay (email directly from Marketo).  Is IP Warming required again if our Dedicated IP is unchanged? I am asking about this because I wonder if the purpose of the warming is more for the last hop prior to delivery (which would have been our corporate email relay).  Now that the messages will deliver directly from Marketo, I'm uncertain if we are still OK or need to warm all over again.

Hi everyone,  I have a question for you all. So I have a promotion where we want only 1 person from a domain to receive a coupon code. So for example, person1@ABC.com fills out a form and gets their coupon. Then person 2 from @ABC.com attempts to fill out the same for for the same offer. What I'm trying to do is to block person 2 from @ABC.com from receiving the offer because Person1 already claimed it.  The idea I had was to create some custom code that took the email domain and put it on a list, then checked that list for each subsequent form submission to see if that email domain was already on said list. The challenge I'm having is that my developer team does not want to store this information outside Marketo.  So - does anyone know if there is a way to store this in Marketo and call this code to process when each person fills out a form?

Hi,My website has events that fire on both Search Results and the Product Pages.I want to be able to say "x number of Searches happened WITHOUT a subsequent Product view" and "x number of Searches happened WITH a subsequent Product view" So for example if this were my hit data:VISIT 1Page1Search ResultsVISIT 1Page2Product PageVISIT 1Page3Search ResultsVISIT 1Page4Product PageVISIT 1Page5Search Results ~ VISIT ENDS ~I would want the resulting count of search events (or even pageviews) to be:Searches Resulting in Product ViewSearches NOT Resulting in Product View21 Can anyone tell me how this is possible in Adobe, give a single visit might contain both sequences? Thanks,Luke

We have been digging into our unsubscribe sources and noticed a significant amount are coming from list-unsubscribe. For the people who unsubscribe using the list-unsubscribe header,  I am assuming that they are NOT counted in email analytics? I do know  that unsubscribers need to use a form to be counted as an unsubscribe from a specific email asset. (This article is also a good reference.) Thanks for confirming.

We had an issue with out SMPP/SMS Provider yesterday with our Throughput, they raised it for us but then also said this I have investigated your issue and see that you are sending over your current throughput. We have increased your throughput and this should resolve your issue. Hi everyone,In the past, I have successfully completed tests using the Adobe template regarding exit intent across my website.  When I create an A/B (or EXP) test using this template on a landing page I created in AEM, the pop-up successfully fires within the modification section of setup.  BUT when I go to use the QA links after setup and prior to activation, the pop-up does not fire.  I also activated the test to try in production but still, it did not fire at all.  I tried it in incognito mode as well.  I am willing to post the code I am working with but here is a screenshot of what SHOULD pop up:Please let me know if you have a solution!Thanks,Ian
