I ran into a problem with form validation using this API  - https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-5/sites/developing/using/reference-materials/granite-ui/api/jcr_root/libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/clientlibs/foundation/js/validation/index.htmlThis documentation does not contain a detailed example of the implementation of validation and registration of the validator for the form (upon confirmation of submission).I would really appreciate an example of form validation on submit using this API.(registration validator and implementation)P.S. The field should be checked only when the submit button is pressed, and not after the user enters the field.

Hi Team, Recently, I've run a PSI (Google Page Speed Report) to check the page speed score of my website which is in AEM platform. As per the suggestions received from Google, we need to preload specific elements within the website to improve the page speed score. Website: shorturl.at/fAHK7 When we discussed the same with our developer, he was like "This not possible. All chatbot assets are loaded on Page Load through Tag Manager. So “Preload” option is not valid." It would be great if you can help me rectify this issue and implement an alternative solution. Regards,Suresh Kumar

#DearAEM Experts,We are migrating DAM content from 6.1 to 6.4 and most of the existing DAM images in 6.1 have jcr:mimeType as application/octet-stream. (Ex: /content/dam/projects/we-retail/cover/jcr:content/renditions/original/jcr:content)Issue: AEM6.4 DAM Asset Update Workflow does not generate thumbnails for images having jcr:mimeType (application/octet-stream) but AEM 6.1 does.Expected: AEM6.4 DAM Asset Update Workflow should generate thumbnails for 'application/octet-stream' mime type images.Please refer to "jcr:mimeType" property, if you change from application/octet-stream to image/png and re-run the Update Asset workflow the thumbnail images are generated.Note: Applied AEM 6.4.3 service pack.Any workaround would be helpful, apart from writing script to update jcr:mimeType from 'application/octet-stream' to 'image/jpeg' (image/jpeg, image/jpg, image/png, image/gif, tiff, etc.,).

Hi all, What are the Main Differences between AEM On Prem and On Cloud?The way I understood it is that for OnCloud, AEM Version upgrades and SW Patches are applied by Adobe and not us.Who will handle DevOps? Who will deploy changes in AEM customizations / configurations?If I want to implement AEM, Where else is the impact?Which flavor needs more resources? Appreciate your responses. Thanks,Rama.

How can we refresh only a specific component after the component edits? instead of the entire page.  we have to generate the images based on dialogue edits right now by using the afteredit.. its refreshing entire page instead of only that component.  Is there any better way to refresh only that component instead of.. refreshing entire page. Thanks In Advance. 

Is there a way to generate a sitemap without using ACS AEM Common Site Map Servlet ?

Hi All, Recently tried to use VersionHistory API (https://docs.adobe.com/content/docs/en/spec/jsr170/javadocs/jcr-2.0/javax/jcr/version/VersionHistory.html) I am able to use getAllVersions() but getAllVersions().getSize() gives me -1. To get the actual size so far I am having to loop the iterator and add the count within the loop.  Is there a better way or I missed something?

Hello,  I have scoured over the product documentation and the community posts and I could not find anything to tell me one way or another. I'm really hoping one of you awesome users has the answer! In the past we have had all of our website form fills populate person source as website no matter how that person found that website page. We are now making a change and doing more advertising so we want to set person source as Paid Google Ads IF the person came to the page with a UTM from one of our campaigns.  This process has taken some trial and error, but I think I have it working for any new inbound leads. I'm working on making a nice report though and was hoping to update the person source on some records so my report is accurate. Hi All, We have to make a condition for the field called Expiration date where the date entered should not exceed the license expiration date field and these two fields have the same resource Type - /libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/datepicker.Can you please help me to get the best approach to get the solution, either can we set it from AEM properties or we need to include some code for this condition and how?  Condition here is Expiration Date < = License Expiration date. Thanks @kautuk_sahni  @arunpatidar  @veenavikraman

Hi, In Adobe Launch, can we have which Page Number / Screen Number we are on.  When you have a significant amount of rules - it would be good to know which page you are on or have the ability to jump quickly to the list you are in.   This was available in DTM and I would like to see this brought over.   Thanks

Is it possible to force the protocol (and url) to use for the tracking server by the generated launch script?In an Ionic App the protocol is file:// which by the generated launch script is translated into using http instead of https.It is possible to configure the tracking server url for http and https, but not possible to force the protocol.
