During Indexing can we have some property by which results from the certain paths are given high preference rather others. Example - I want my query to fetch the results from both the paths (/content/A  , /content/B ) but results from path /content/A should be on top rather then results from /content/B.

I'm receiving an error when attempting to edit a previously created metric (created by me). The error says "You do not have permission to create components for this report suite" and I cannot save the metric after making changes (it's greyed out). I have tried clearing cache/cookies and signing out an back in. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you,Whitney

I want to set default values for fields inside coral ui multifield. I tried to use cq:template but not sure of how to set values for fields inside aem multifieds. Can anyone help me out with this?

Hi Everyone!  I'm setting up a newsletter sign up page, where we're hoping to use multiple single check boxes to indicate a subscription to the corresponding newsletter.  These boxes map to custom fields in salesforce that are also check boxes.  The problem we keep running into is making the check boxes "required".  We don't want to allow people to submit the form without having at least one of these boxes checked, but if we select "required" in forms 2.0, you have to check off the boxes.  I'm guessing that this might be solved with some kind of script in an html box on the landing page?   I've suggested going with a select box to make things easy, but the web team is pretty firm on making these check boxes. How would you guys approach this problem?

I am trying to debug some java code, but i am getting a connection timed out exception-Failed to connect to remote VM. When I try to target a component for a specific region the wrench icon to open the dialog is not showing up. There are no error in the logs and the component is allowing to be edited for different regions, is there anything I could try to troubleshoot this? Thanks,J

I've read posts about the /content/entities folder that the CF models reference, but I don't have one in my project.If I go through the Cloud Services configuration in the assets folder properties, I am able to create CFs using the models from the selected conf/ directory. My issue is that a global project holds several CF models and this project will have a few extra models. If I enable the new models using this method, I can't use the old "global" models from another project. Does anyone know what the best practice is for allowing CF models from multiple projects on a asset folder?

Hi My colleagues and I are having issues downloading reports in Analytics - we select the relevant options (download > excel), it comes up with the "Your report is being generated in the following format: Excel" and then shortly turns into the following error message:  Failed to create XLS report. An administrator has been notified. It's been like this for weeks. Workspace reports download perfectly fine and the scheduled projects come out on time but the main analytics reports are all affected by the above. ThanksKirsten

Hi!I'm having an issue with some fairly large discrepancies regarding DTM Rules and Adobe Analytics displaying the results.We have a Page Load Rule set to fire event 99 on /AddVehicles page called Start Quote, however those numbers do not match the number of visits to that page. Its only showing that the rule fired 52k times when there were 83k visits.Here are the DTM Conditions:Additionally, we have a Direct Call Rule set up to fire on the same page that should trigger some non-sequential third party tags (AdWords, Kenshoo, Twitter, Floodlight, etc) in addition to firing event 1 in Adobe Analytics which we have named Add Vehicles Page Load. As you can see in the first image, that custom event is firing even less than the Start Quote Page Load rule. (42k)Shouldnt all of these numbers be the same? or at least closer than they are? I inherited this suite setup, so I didnt implement them, but Im thoroughly confused as to why the events arent much closer to the number of visits if they are

I have a question which I have not yet seen fully answered. We need to install fresh AEM 6.5 JEE install.  Is the JDK ONLY included in Turnkey?  We went to support, we got a "you're on your own if not turnkey".   However we can't do a straight turnkey because of some security parameters (federal). So if we use the internal JBOSS  to do a standalone install, will we be responsible to provide the Oracle JDK or is Adobe?  Is that something we can get through support?  Or does support provide us a link to get it?   We get that you can't use OpenJDK, but the entire world seems to be going to that (including the feds!)  help on this issue would be appreciated.  

We are embedding a Marketo form on our website and would would like a success message instead of linking to another page.When a user clicks "SUBMIT" on form can we stop the page from loading? How do we show a success message a under the email input box? If an user email address is already in the list, can we return a message letting them know this and a link to manage there preferences?

Timeout Handler not working in AEM 6.4.2

An External Account from a package I am working with has "Call JavaScript" set as its activation mode in its execution parameters. When I update the javascript file in question, then re-execute the workflow that uses that external package, only the old code appears to be used. How can I make sure any changes I make to a javascript file are applied?

My developer brought up an interesting problem with Launch: on a slow network, he sometimes gets a flicker when a page is loading. After numerous tests in Google Chrome where I throttled my network speed to "Slow 3G", I traced the problem to some Direct Calls _satellite.track() that are used in some rules' actions (implemented as custom code), i.e. there are rules inside Launch that include _satellite.track() themselves to other rules. When I blocked those min.js scripts in Chrome, the flicker problem went away. I also have Adobe Target, though on the pages that he experienced the flicker, there were no running experiments. We have also implemented the pre-hide script provided by Adobe (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/launch/using/extensions-ref/adobe-extension/targetv2-extension/adobe-target-extension-v2.html#adobe-target-extension-with-an-asynchronous-deployment). Has anyone noticed this flicker before with Direct Calls?

Hi,    I am creating a component that requires the Page Locale to make decisions on what to display. I am able to get the Page object using @586265, but i am not sure how to Unit Test this models now. I tried creating an entire structure in unit tests json and passed it to AEMContent.currentResource() but that doesn't inject the Page object.     Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Raj
