Hi there! We are thinking about turning on our activities sync for a few different activities (ex. form fill). We are aware that this will update the SFDC activity history records for leads and contacts. We are aware there are a few drawbacks to turning on the automated activity sync.Wanted to see if anyone has discovered a way to:Monitor how much SFDC data storage is being used by the sync? See all the data that has been synched over in one place (perhaps via an SFDC report)?Let me know if you are aware of anything!Boone

Problem Statement: For unique visitors and visits in page level view, we need to total all the pages, but when we export the line item detail for unique visitors and visits, this total does not tie out to the Adobe Analytics calculated total. Adobe Analytics remove the duplicates of these metrics, but we do not know how it is being calculated. We need to know if there is a formula that calculates in the background when providing the summarized total of unique visitors and visits in Adobe Analytics?

Might be a pretty simple question, but I don't fully understand what the "stickiness" metric is all about. I know that it is calculated by: single page visits/ entries, so does this mean it measures how many visitors stay on the page and don't venture to the rest of the site?

I am adding a hidden field to a global form like:form.addHiddenFields({"ContentName" : "SLA MultiPress: Inside leaksource surveillance"});Working fine on MultiPress ILS | Dataline SolutionsNow, I also have a database field "ContentName".I was expecting this field to be updated with the content from the hidden field above, but no data is written for this field on form submit. Because there is no link between them?Can someone help me here?

Hi, after a nearly 10 year hiatus from using Adobe Analytics (it was just Omniture Site Catalyst back then as most of you know), I find myself using it once again.My challenges and questions for today are: 1) I'd like to view reports with a segment applied to it while I am in the reports section.  For example, if I am in REPORTS>CONTENT>PAGES,  the default view is unsegmented list of Pages and PageviewsI know that I can use Compare to Segment and see how the unsegmented data compares to whatever segment I enter.However I would like to apply a segment before this so I can just see data that is segmented (e.g. just pageviews generated by visits who have an iOS operating system)Can this be done right in the reports section (the training video on Lynda.com shows this was possible back in 2016 but its now 2018 and the interface has changed and can't determine how to do this).If it can't be done in REPORTS how do I go about doing this?Thanks in advance!

Hi,For example, I have an existing schema with 10 data in it. one of the attribute is "rank"<attribute label="rank" name="rank" type="long"/>Now i want to assign default value for rank as "3" where there is no value in it. (means rank as "3" for existing values where rank is null or 0 and rank as 3 for future updating data where rank will be blank) So if i make change as  <attribute label="rank" name="rank" type="long" sqlDefault="3"/> , all the existing values became "3".      I have got the in-app messaging working on our test environment (Ex. show a message every time the user logs in). The next step is configuring a message on the production environment version and I have  hit a roadblock in there. Below are the details:Platform: iOS SDKObjective: Show an in-app message asking the user to provide a rating after 5 successful logins.     We currently have a tag (ex. home|loginSucess), but is there a way to count down how many times the tag has been registered. I know that we can count this in the app and then have a separate tag for when the user completes five logins, but I am looking for doing this through the dashboard. Showing the message on a single occurrence is easy. The multiple occurrence thing is where I am unable to figure out the setting.

Is there a way to practice AEM without installing it?I would like an enviroment to learn more doing pratical exercises.

I'm looking for a way to control that. The tagsearch predicate documentation is not detailed regarding this. Does anyone know how could I prevent my query to look into these two nodes? jcr:title and jcr:description.

Hi,I have been working on a requirement where an AEM instance should support multiple SAML connections for different parts of same site. Since, these different parts of site are mutually exclusive, setting up SAML configurations is not a problem and works fine for authenticating a user.Following is the structure of the site:/content/site/parta - protected by IDP SAMLA/content/site/partb - protected by IDP SAMLBHowever, when authenticated user navigates from parta to partb, user is still considered authenticated as AEM is validating login-token and since it finds an valid login-token, it treats the user as authenticated even though its different saml path at which user has authenticated. We are currently using an awkward workaround by creating a cookie to track where the user has logged in from and when they try to navigate to other part of site, I am forcing user to go thru logout. I can also use CUG by assigning users to different groups when they authenticate with different IDPs and

I'm very new to analytics and I'm trying to implement adobe analytics for my web page, to keep track the user ID of the user who have downloaded assets (images,videos etc) on my page. Can anyone help me with the step by step process that I need to  follow in order to achieve this?PS: I have an adobe analytics account but not sure if I have necessary permissions. Hi,I am doing an AB Test and need to pass through the Delivery ID in order to then union the data back together and perform some analysis on the results (producing data extracts of recipient activities). However I can't seem to get a delivery ID to be passed through from the deliveries themselves. I've tried adding it as a variable but this doesn't appear to work.What is passed through is the 'Foreign Key of the link 'Message' (field 'id') field. Whilst this serves almost the same function there are two issues with this field.It doesn't exist until the Delivery is run and therefore causes issues in any workflow which relies on linking to this field.It doesn't appear to be generated for the AB test 'Winner' delivery.Any advice would be much appreciated. We currently run LiveCycler ES4 (v11) for the ReaderExtensions website.We have purchased AEM 6.3 as a license. Could we install just the Reader Extension application without installing the full AEM core server?
