In all of Adobe's documentation, they state that TransactionID's must be unique. But they also state that if multiple TransactionID's are uploaded during the same visit, the snapshot that will be saved is of the last TransactionID uploaded.So my question is, if we upload the same TransactionID across multiple visits. When we upload offline events to that TransactionID, will the events be tied back to multiple visits, and if this is the case, would uploading $25 of revenue end up showing up as $100 if it ends up being tied to 4 visits with the same Transaction ID? Or would the offline events just be attributed to the most recent visit with that Transaction ID?The reason we need to know is that we are using our in-app user ID as the transactionID, and while we could pre-pend the userID with a unique event identifier to keep the transacitonID unique, our app data that we are uploading to analytics will not have access to that unique event identifier, so we will only be able to upload the

Hi,I have a similar situation as @iamjasonaI made a segment. First I create a date (custom date example begin in August 23, 2017 until September 2017) as a condition with another dimension. I include both on a container to not interfere with my others containers that I create with dimensions only.The segment was working correctly a few weeks ago, I saw now that all my data begin with the date (August 23, 2017) instead of one container only?Did something change in the relationship between the containers?Thanks!

I'm using ServiceComponentRuntime (http://javadox.com/org.osgi/osgi.cmpn/6.0.0/org/osgi/service/component/runtime/ServiceComponentRuntime.html ) to get Component configuration and description DTOs.But on building the project, I get the exception org.osgi.dto.DTO not found.I searched for this package in depth finder and was referred to org.apache.felix.framework.xml as the dependency that needs to be added to include this class. But if I search through this bundle it contains no inclusion of this class and no info on it in Manifest.MF either. It's a fragment bundle and is dependent on the system bundle (org.apache.felix..) but the parent bundle has no inclusion of this class either.Does anyone have any idea of which bundle would actually have this class?I'm using AEM 6.3. In 6.0, this class is included as part of org.apache.felix.scr package. But not so in case of 6.3.Thanks for any help in advance.

In Report Builder, when importing Dashboards, can you pull in html and xml external reports?  when doing so, i get a prompt that "This Bookmark is not supported". 

Currently the getOffer method only returns the "action" portion of the returned json from target. When looking into the network panel of my browser, I can see all the other data available in the response object (Info like test name, experience id,  activity id). However, I have no way of grabbing this data.I have seen suggestions around putting this info into the a/b test you create but that will not work for me because I need it pick up 100s of running test's metadata without changing them. Does anyone have a suggestion for getting this metadata from an API call or chiseling it out of the getOffer response?

Hi Experts,  We are facing difficulties with migrating content from Production to lower regions. We have a huge AEM content which serves 100+ markets and has MultiSite Management in place.But for development and other related activities, it will be of great help if we can sync content in production with lower regions like UAT or Integration. We want this sync process to have minimal manual activity.I could think one process wherein a package will be created for one market and that will be dropped in Amazon S3 buckets which developers can access and take packages. But not sure if this is optimal. I felt it would be better to get inputs of AEM community before concluding an approach. Awaiting your suggestions.Regards,Jayapal.S

I have a marketo landing page that serves as an LMS calendar. Classes come and go, and each time we add a block of classes I add some prepared html code and drop it in the page. I would LOVE to automate a way to hide the classes that have passed, by quickly updating a token or list of past classes (potentially updating a section of html div to display:none).I tried some js that goes off internal clocks and hides by date, but that didn't seem to work right -- I was thinking of inserting a token in the div and updating it to "display:none" as needed, but marketo seems to strip out the token when I save it.Maybe I need a velocity script to do this in a way I haven't thought of yet (I'm not familiar with Velocity use-cases)?Maybe someone else has done something similar? Anyone want to point me to the right rabbit hole?

Hi,In a workflow I have an approval task and I need to set the assignee dynamically in the workflow, there are over 40 different possible assignees for the approval and I do not want to have 40 plus approval tasks.I could see that I can add a 'Filter' assignment type, but when I add a filter condition based on 'Email equals $(instance/vars/@who) I get the message that the variable does not exist in this context.I have tried various formats $(instance/vars/who) etc. for the variable without any luck so far.Jeremy

Hi thereI'm trying to connect to a v6 Campaign Server with a v7 Campaign Client, but I'm getting an error while connecting.I would like to use the v7 Client but I believe I have 2 problems:We have a v6 Server installation and I have Windows 10 installed in my Laptop, so I believe I can't install the v7 Client.On the other hand, I have no access to the v7 Client Setup file, because the installation procedure involves using the "Installation download page" from the v6 Server.Houston...If anyone can help, thanks!Carlos@Lisboa

Hello, I was installing a separate instance at 4504, but automatically AEM now creates a cluster and even offloading agents. Is there a way to prevent this default behaviour completely?Back in 5.6 there was a file repository.xml that you could edit, but I now cannot find a way to disable this in /system/console/topologyThanks.

Wondering if we can  call an api using workflow in ACS?

I'd like to allow authors to specify the href of a link by either using the pathbrowser to browse to a path on the site like /content/site/path/to/page, or pasting in an external URL, like http://www.example.com. In the first case, I would want to append .html; in the second, I wouldn't. This seems like a reasonably common scenario, so I was thinking there might be some OOTB support, either in Java APIs, or Sightly/dialog functionality. I haven't found anything yet - is there anything? Or ACS Commons? (I'm using AEM 6.1 and Touch UI)

Hi all,I've read so many different ways to create a segment in Adobe Analytics to just see SEO visits.I'm trying to apply a segment over an application form funnel to determine which applications were submitted by users who entered our site via organic search vs. those who entered on a paid SEM result.So far I've been using the following to create a SEO segment:Segment container = VisitReferrer type = Search AND external campaign 'does NOT exist'Will this be accurate? Sorry to ask this basic question, but I don't see the activity creation button enabled for me. One article said that you need to be an approver in Settings -> User Management console. However, it has now moved into Adobe Admin Console. I am not sure how do I use this application and enable it. Pl help

When I am trying to create any Content fragment model using the configuration that i created, it gets stored in CRX under: /conf/testconfig/settings/dam/cfm/models/test-modelThis model by-default has the property "allowedPaths" created. And the value of this property is "/content/entities(/.*)?"Can anyone please let me know the meaning of this value, as I am not able to find any entities folder under /content. Then what is the use of this property.
