I'm trying to set up a new servlet in AEM. It works on the AEM author but not the publisher. (I'm getting a 504 Gateway Timeout)Is there a setting in OSGi that I need to configure? It shows the correct class when I check the Sling Servlet Resolver. Thanks. i.e. /bin/checkStatus

Hi Team,Consider the below 2 Scenario:Scenario 1:‘xyz_test’ and ‘abc_test’ have the same merge policy set to “Default-Time-Based”, which ensures there are no issues when updating ‘xyz_test’ audience with ‘abc_test’ audience since they are using the same policy. Scenario 2:The issue arises when trying to update the ‘p_test’ audience by including the ‘abc_test’ audience, where ‘p_test’ has “No Device Graph” (No Stitching) merge policy and ‘abc_test’ has “Default-Time-Based”. Due to both merge policies are different we are getting error.So, if we change the merge policy of ‘abc_test’ from “Default-Time-Based” to “No Device Graph” (No Stitching) in Scenario 2, and might be it will only affect to ‘abc_test’ at audience level and it will not be affected for Scenario 1 (Where ‘xyz_test’ and ‘abc_test’ both audiences using the “Default-Time-Based”.) Meaning for changing the merge policy for ‘abc_test’ in Scenario 2 will only affect the behavior for ‘abc_test’ in that scenario and wil

We have configured AEM assets to hide the "Share Link" button in the action bar for certain groups. This was done via:Tools → Assets → Assets Configuration → Link Share - Deny from Groups settings.This configuration works correctly in the Assets Admin view. However, the "Share Link" button is still visible in the Assets view.Do we need to handle this configuration from another place or take additional steps to hide the button in the Assets view?Config:Admin View Action bar:Assets View Action bar:  

Hello Team.Recently we had a publisher that started experienced rapid data*tar file file growth.It just happened suddenly. Running with Java11.Has anyone had this happen to them? and identified the root cause?There is nothing in the logs that indicates why this happened.Also, are there any tools that would allow inspecting the data*tar files with aem shutdown?Thanks.

Hi AEM community, I would like to make my AEM (6.5) pages compliant with HTML5.I'm able to put html5 tags (header, nav, footer) in my page's structure except for the tag <main role="main">. I do not understand how can I wrap all my content page with this html5 tag. How do you implement this rule in your site's page ? Thanks for your help.

Can someone please explain to me how do we install our Edge Delivery Website via production (https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.live/) sites to live production, for example www.applepro.com. When it seems like https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.live is the one that is serving the website, and what would protect https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.live, do we even need to protect https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.live?

Hi There, We have sitemap generator working perfectly for top level locale files (i.e us/en/sitemap.xml). However when it comes to lower level pages sitemaps, ReplicationAction is failing to find those files due to path mismatch. For example sitemap for /us/en/about-us/newsroom page is generated under /var/sitemaps/ and as /content/xxx/us/en/about-us-newsroom-sitemap.xml. However ReplicationAction is failing to find resource under  /content/xxx/us/en.sitemap.about-us-newsroom-sitemap.xml Which means ReplicationAction is finding file at wrong place or generated name is incorrect. I dug into ReplicationAction documentation but could not find where I can force it to look into right folder and files. In logs ReplicationAction is failing with following warning *WARN* [sling-default-1] com.adobe.cq.cloudconfig.core.impl.ConfigurationReplicationEventHandler Resource [/content/xxx/us/en.sitemap.about-us-newsroom-sitemap.xml] not found

On an AEM Edge Delivery Service web site, we understand that the code is all frontend. As a current customer of AEMaaCS with a contract, and having 4 existing websites that serves on the platform. Adobe says using AEM Edge Delivery Service is free, so we wish to use this.While customers are surfing our AEM Edge Delivery Service website, we wish to present a form to them. Once the form is submitted, we want post the data to a custom CRM like Sales Force. In order for us to connect to the CRM, we need some backend implementation which will connect to the CRM via Oauth2. What is the best way to archive this? 

What is the best practice for EDS when it comes language switcher exactly like how the AEM Core Components have implemented. So for AEMaaCS, out of the box, these websites are closely coupled to fastly CDN and cannot be removed. While looking at the aem.live website for launch, https://www.aem.live/docs/byo-cdn-fastly-setup, it says that BYO CDN needs to be configured... does this mean that we need to pay for another CDN just to have a Edge Delivery Service running on production?

We are a customer of AEM Assets, but odly we have 3 environments created that looks exactly like AEM Sites... dev, stage prod.Anyways, how do we enable smart tags to our AEM Assets folders, we want to use Adobe Sensei Smart Tags, but not able to configure or enable it. How would we do this?

I have this pdf form that has hidden subforms that appear when certain boxes are checked. I'm having issues with my Section C. subforms. I have add/remove row buttons, plus buttons that allow the user to rearrange the data within. As long as the subform is set to Visible, the add/remove buttons work. When it is hidden, the add row button does nothing and the remove row button will take away the only row visible (and it shouldn't do that). I'm hoping someone can tell me what where I went wrong? To make it easier for you: If you answer "No" to the first question in Section B, Section C2 will appear.  If you check "a PMA based on Test and Computation" in Section A and answer "No" to the first question in Section B, Section C3 will appear.  C2 and C3 are my hidden trouble makers.  TYIA!

I am using the PDFBox Java library to generate a PDF document. In this document, I have a few pages in portrait orientation and some in landscape orientation. When I print this document in duplex mode, the portrait pages are bound on the long edge, while the landscape pages are bound on the short edge. Is it possible to set printing options in the document so that the binding is always on the long edge, regardless of the page orientation within the document?Thank you!

Hi! We are struggling with collecting multivalues and the List Var limits. We have categorized all pages of the site with different metadata, and two of this metadata fields might have multiple values. As it is information regarding a page, should we use List Prop instead? Or is it better to go for List Vars? At the same time, we also have Logged User information we want to capture, also with multivalues. As this CRM information is "static" through the Visit, what's the best way to capture it? List Var in this in case? Thanks in advance!
