Happy Thanksgiving! I shouldn't be working but this issue is driving me nuts and I'd love to figure this out.I have a use java class that has a method called getPage. The code is below. Hi everyone, I am struggling a bit with this issue, hopefully someone can give a hand.So I created a component that displays 2 columns with a parsys on each one of them. For some reason these parsys are being displayed with 0 width:When I inspect the generated HTML for the component I can see this:cq5 adds a <div class="cq-placeholder-etc-etc-etc"></div> with the actual parsys placeholder, though these elements have 0 width.What it is even more odd, if I edit the HTML with Chrome and remove that div, cq5 is rendering it again but now with the right width:I have checked the differences between the previous generated parsys and the one after removing it effectively the only difference is the width https://www.diffchecker.com/leLvyQdRHas any of you guys seen this before? Hi,We have upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1. We found that when we try to move assets in DAM and try to select the new destination using the browse(magnifying glass icon), we dont get the entire content tree but just one entry called "Websites".We found the below error in browser console that below call was returning a 404 error.http://preprod2-author.advenio.companyname.com/bin/tree/ext.json?_dc=1479900611347&predicate=siteadmin&_charset_=utf-8&path=%2Fcontent&node=xnode-461Any pointers what is wrong at server side?Thanks,Anil

I have a question about the validity of using success events with props.We are running low on eVars so I want to find a way around using one for the implementation that we are currently doing for a new feature so thought I might be able to use a prop. The prop will capture one of two values 'yes' or 'no' and I want to see how many times these occur against a specific success event. When running a report in Reports and Analytics (web interface) I can't add a success event to a prop report but in Ad-hoc I can (prop as a dimension and event as the metric). If I do this in ad-hoc, can I trust the data I am getting from it? The only reason I am unsure is because it doesn't work in Reports and Analytics which makes we think the two can't be matched.Thanks for any help.

Hi, can anyone offer advice on using at.js vs. mbox.js when upgrading to Target Premium? I understand at.js is necessary for single page apps, but there is only the option to use mbox.js when using 'Managed by Adobe'. If I download the at.js file and implement through the custom code editor it doesn't seem to work (new mbox.js does btw). Any help would be greatly appreciated! ThanksMatt

Hi, I'm doing and upgrade from Adobe Livecycle ES4 SP1 to AEM forms 6.1 on JEE Turnkey. After completing the Configuration, and try to access http://localhost:8080/lc/. I get an Error code 404. I can check if AEM is running on a safe mode on the same port and can access the administrator console. Did I do something wrong on the configuration or what am I miss?Thank you

We are going to update our CQ 5.6.1 application to AEM 6.2. We made a lot of changes in our code and tested it on new test AEM 6.2 environment.And the main question for us now - how to update prod system to AEM 6.2? I saw a lot of documentation from AEM (like https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/deploy/upgrade.html )but we still confused what is real benefit of upgrading in place to AEM 6.2 instead of setup new AEM 6.2 clean instance and move our content to it with CRX2OAK tool for example.So which variant is better (in place upgrade or new AEM 6.2) and why?Thanks in advance!

Are Adaptive forms  WCAG compliant? We are building Adaptive Forms that need to be WCAG compliant. We are trying to figure out the best approach (overlay vs extend) to achieve this.Any information would be helpful. (are there WCAG-compliant UI libraries?)Thanks,Joel

We are using rte in existing dialog sling:resourceType="cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/richtext"We re facing issue with special characters For Ex - if we enter '&copy' in jcr stored as '©' which  is creating problem while displaying on to the page.is there any workaround for this or can we use RTE plugins misc tools in this scenario.

The Rich Text Editor is not displaying the full range of functionality for authors editing their textual content. They can't view many of the functions, including special characters, styles, anchors and source edit. However when an admin logs in, they can view all the functions. (please see attached screenshots) What permissions do we need to change for the authors? Thanks.

We've problems with a repository growing out of control. Luckily compaction helps a lot (we're using online compaction), but I'd like to determine what is being deleted (compacted).I'm using java -Dlogback.configurationFile=/tmp/logback.xml   -jar ~/Downloads/oak-run-1.4.9.jar compact repository/segmentstore/ >>/tmp/oak-run.logwith logback logging at trace level to try to determine what is being deleted. I would like to have a marketo form hidden feild insert some php code.<input type="hidden" name="Campaign_Name__c" class="mktoField mktoFieldDescriptor mktoFormCol" value="<?php echo $mkto_camp_name ?>" />We put the <?php echo $mkto_camp_name ?> into the form designer campaign name hidden field, but it is rendering as php text and not rendering the Campaign name we grab from the wordpress php. Probably because marketo is rendering the form after the php is already rendered in the browser.Is there any way to insert php code into the form field and have it render correctly?

Hi, Some context: I just started a contract at CIC (Govt of Canada). Helping give some guidance to Serge, the UI Designer here. He has 3 weeks experience with AEM 6.2. Newbie.I worked for Adobe doing AEM Tech Support in 2013. Getting back up to speed. Serge is creating components following the government WET standards. Serge asked for a strategy on creating new components (with little inheritance I gather) VS extending base components. His concern is primary future upgrades (to 6.3), and Adobe not supporting the components he extends. "Future Proofing" it. Do you have any recommendations here?  Thanks,Joel

Therefor I use custom properties that I added to the custom component's dialog. I've found that all properties provided by the user via the component's dialog are encoded in the JSP:name="${guide:encodeForHtmlAttr(guideField.name,xssAPI)}"com.adobe.aemds.guide.taglibs.GuideELUtils provides       encodeForHtml(String str, XSSAPI xssapi) encodeForHtmlAttr(String str, XSSAPI xssapi) but does not provide methods for other encoding recommended by https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Java_Encoder_Project#tab=Use_the_Java_Encoder_ProjectHow can I protect against XSS using the aem toolset?Thank you, Urs

Hi there everyone,I'm moving a project over to 6.2, and I've been getting the TooManyCallsException. Google seems to indicate a hardcap of 1000 components.org.apache.sling.api.request.TooManyCallsException: /libs/cq/gui/components/authoring/componentbrowser/component/component.jsp/system/console/components doesn't seem like a reliable count - as Adobe uses around 2000 components on its own. I was wondering if there was a simple way of counting how many the project has, or increasing this limit. Thanks
