Hi,We have author instance and publish instance installed in different machines (author in UAT server and Publish in production server).How i need to configure the replication agent so that i can publish the content from author to publish Environment. Or do i need to install author and publish instances in the same server? Please let me how to do.Thanks

I am trying to set up a way for contacts who register for a webcast to be able to invite their colleagues from within the redirected "thank you for registering" page.What I originally planned to do was, on the "thank you for registering page", include a new form that contacts can fill out to give us the information we need to invite their colleagues. I created new fields (Referral First Name and Referral Last Name) and also ask for "Colleague's Email Address" (using the standard "Email Address" field).  My original thought was that since the original referrer would be typing in a new email address in the email field, this would theoretically create a new lead, and then I could use smart campaigns to fill in first name/last name from the Referral First Name/Last name fields. This would trigger an email that goes out to the new lead, referencing the original referrer's name. Where can i see the AEM logs? I created an Custom data importer and want to see the AEM logs by following this doc https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/polling.html. I can see only access.log and request.log inside ../author/crx-quickstart/logs

At this past year's Marketo Summit, the product team announced that enhanced permissions would be enabled in Marketo - specifically the ability to set permissions at the folder - and even asset - level.  I didn't see it in the Fall Release.  Is this still on the roadmap for this year?Marketing Nation Summit Highlights

Hi, we've been using the Scene7 metadata server for several years now, and it recently started responding with "Internal Server Error".  The two Metadata Servers that I know of are http://s7mds1.scene7.com and http://s7mds3.scene7.com.  Is there any plan to fix this, or are there new / alternative servers that I can query to return XML or JSON formatted search results based on S7 asset metadata?Thanks.

Hello everyone,I was wondering how a lead becomes 'inactive'. I have heard of a 90 days of inactivity after a record is first created in the database but I would like to confirm.Same for a contact in SFDC. is the 'inactive' box ticked automatically from Marketo or from SFDC?Thank you

Hi,we have recently moved for self-hosting on the satellite libraries. Now I've noticed that DTM debugger staging plugin does not work anymore, and neither does localStorage.setItem('sdsat_stagingLibrary',true); . This is due staging library is not in the same location as production library in our setup. Is there a way to define where the staging library can be found or is there any other way to enable this staging library in this kind of hosting?Of course I could do all my testing in dev environments, but this way would be the preferred for me.Thanks for help!

I want to understand how I can use AEM forms (6.1 without any additional  license. )  My aim is to create a form in AEM and on submission pre-process the data  before submitting it to the external system. Can some one please point to right tutorial(s) for AEM forms ?

I'm trying to install AEM 6.2 as a windows service following the normal procedure at https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/deploy/custom-standalone-install.html. However, when i edit instsrv.bat to set the prunsrv to prunsrv_ia64.exe and then run the batch file, it gives an error, "This app can't run on your PC". Posts I've found on the internet about this aren't related to AEM, but they suggest it's a problem with the executable, rather than a permissions issue. That being said, if I close the notice, the command window shows an "Access denied" message.If I switch to prunsrv.exe, it will install the service, but you can't run it because it throws an error saying, "Invalid function", which makes sense as it's the wrong architecture. On the Azure AEM 6.0 machine image, I noticed they were using prunsrv_amd64.exe even though it's an Intel architecture. However, that file is not included in my AEM 6.2 quickstart.jar.Has anyone run into this?

Hi,Is there any change in behaviour of ResourceResolver(org.apache.sling.api.resource) in AEM 6.2 because it returns me NonExistingResource when trying to resolve resource(node) under /etc/xxx.This used to work fine in AEM 6.0 SP3.For example, We have few data pages under /etc/lists/top-navigation-configuration-page which we(anonymous users in publish) were able to resolve in WCMUse classes in AEM 6.0 SP3 using getResourceResolver.resolve("etc/lists/top-navigation-configuration-page"). But this piece of code is returning NonExistingResource in AEM 6.2. However, using service resource resolver(resolverFactory.getServiceResourceResolver(param)), resources under /etc/xxx are resolved.Thanks in advance

    I have included  " <sly data-sly-include="${'clientcontext' @ resourceType='cq/personalization/components/clientcontext'}" data-sly-unwrap/>" in my page.html  to get client context in AEM sidekick for the page which I created using my own blank template. Eventhough adding clientcontext path in page.html , I am not able to get it on my page. Suggest me a solution for it. Thanks in advance.

I want to have adaptive form as a drag and drop component so that I can drag and drop it anywhere on my template/page. This is because the page will have a lot of other content on page and one parsys. OOTB whatever examples have been given are given of complete template.I explored it and noticed in the template the node guideContainer is present and hence everything with OOTB but when I want to make a component of this its not working.Does anyone know how can I make adaptive form container as a component so that it can be placed in any parsys.Regards,Samir

Hi All,We are creating the thumbnail rendition(638x638) for video asset using asset.addrendition(name, inputstream, mimetype) dam API.External image will be read and add it as rendition for video asset. For few video assets, we can able to view this thumbnail by double clicking the rendition and open it in different tab.For few video assets, we can't able to view it by double clicking that rendition. No error is appeared in the logsPlease provide your inputs to find the solution for this issue.Thanks in advance !!

We can add attribute allowBulkEdit = "{Boolean}false" to exclude properties on pageproperties editor in bulkedit view.I want to see the same behaviour for assets in metadataeditor, but attribute "allowBulkEdit" doesn't help.How can I hide some asset properties on the metadataeditor with multiple asset's selection?

HII am trying to upgrade to Target Premium on a site that has Target Classic already installed.  What I have read in the upgrade documentation is that both the new Target with Global Mbox, and target Classic regional mboxes can co exist on the page.  I have set up Target Premium using DTM (by the way I have done this on sites without Classic quite easily) for the Web property using automated mbox update, however when I check my pages the new global mbox has not appeared and in one particular journey the regional mboxes have disappeared also. So I wanted to checka) Am I right in saying that Global Mboxs (target premium) and Regional Mboxs (target classic) can co-exist?b) Can I fire mbox.js through DTM, even though there is a reference to mbox.js in the page from the Classic implementation?c) Any ideas what might have caused the Target premium implementation not to work? ThanksMartin
