Hey all,We use Launchpoint to promote our company, and standard practice is to receive an email alert for when a new lead is created. Has anyone been able to automate this process into their Marketo instance? That would be great!!thanks

I was asked to build a customer renewal series that will notify contacts when they are 120 days, 90 days and 60 days from renewal.The issue I'm running into is finding a field that will let me trigger an email to send 120 days before their renewal. I originally tried using the Expiration Date filter with In Future "120 days" but it was including contacts that were under 120 days from renewal when it should only include contacts that are exactly 120 days out. Next step I'm trying is using a Date Token in a Wait Step then calling a separate campaign to re-run the contact through the smart list and send the email. I'm having an issue when I go to schedule the campaign. It won't accept the date token in the wait step "{{company.Last Day to Cancel Account Less 120:default=edit me}}". I'm using this token in the emails and it works great. Any idea why Marketo won't allow me to use this token in the Date Token field in the Wait Step? My guess is Markteo doesn't recognize company tokens in dat

We have a product which requires a reminder sent to our client, approximately 9.5 to 10 months after their initial project is completed. I'd like to set up a program in Marketo to auto-generate this information to clients as a three step 'nurture' campaign, as we'll be sending a total of two to three messages to these clients. The easiest way I can see to do this is to first have the specific clients added to a Smart Campaign with a flow step that looks like this:a: 'wait step' with a time frame of 9.5 monthsb: 'add to list step' which will then add members of the smart program to the smart list 'send message now'The membership for the nurture campaign which will ultimately send the messaging will be fed by members of the 'send message now' smart list.Will this work? Is there an easier/better way to accomplish this task?

When we had the legacy editor, I could make minor edits to an image (adding border, alignment, resizing, etc...) The new editor, while it has lots of enhancements, does not allow image edits! Am I missing something?

Hi,I am building an app that is potentially going to contain a large amount of articles for every collection. As far as I understand, there is no SDK available for DPS 2015 at the moment: I was wondering if there is any way to customize Collection pages (I believe they are called Browse Page, the page that renders all the articles of a collection). Ideally, I would like to print out all the articles for a collection in a html page and create a search box for dynamic filtering in javascript. Or, is there a search feature somewhere I am not aware of?Thanks for your patience. So far having a lot of fun with the new DPS!

Hi There,Can anyone assist me with the email invalid caused? We are currently running a campaign and we have high bounced back, especially Soft bounced.When we created the smart list for Soft bounced, and added the email invalid cause field, but the result was blank. Likewise, for hard bounced, only 32 results out of 50. Where can we generated the cause for each invalid email?Appreciate anyone or Marketo Support team can help to assist this soon.Thanks

I'm slightly confused on what people are going to be purchasing. Since Collections are Folios from the old DPS, and people in the old DPS purchased Folios, are people purchasing collections or articles? What if my Collection, an issue, has more than one article? How do consumers purchase the collection as a whole and not make individual purchases of articles?

Is there any way to code a button in DPS to go back within a DPS 2015 app? In other words, say I tap into an article and want to have an iconic X for a back button that acts the same way as the back function on the top menu of DPS 2015. It would be nice to avoid that need for the user to tap the screen for the top menu bar to pop up in order to go back. Make sense?Is this possible to achieve?

Ok, I know the old editor wasn't the best, but this one is so limiting. What happened to the <html> button that let you work in the code within the editable field?Am I missing it or do I have to export an email before I can work in the HTML and break the template? Previously I worked in the code when I had a button with a hyperlink. Now I have to edit the button text, then edit the link. I can't even add a break <br>. No matter how hard I try I can't prevent a space between lines. There's no button that lets you view the HTML.I can live with the changes in the interface, like the requirement to toggle from html to text to "copy HTML". But the removed functionality is really causing me additional work. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong!

Are there best practices for limiting the amount of engagement points someone can get for taking multiple actions within an individual program?For Example:Opens Webcast Invitation Email: +4Clicks Link in Webcast Invitation Email: +10Fills Out Webcast Form: +10Attends Webcast: +10This alone is 34 pointsI have blocked emails containing "Reminder", Thank You" and "Confirmation" from being counted to scoring because I was finding that the reminder emails were pushing people over the scoring threshold.I realize this is a difficult question to answer, but I'm wondering if 34 points is gernally "too much" for participating in one program (and taking the above actions). Does anyone put limits on the amount of points that can come from one program, and if so, how are you doing that?Thanks!Steve

We have a custom field on Contact records in Salesforce that we upload certain information to on a quarterly basis. Essentially, we put in a number of accounts impacted by an operational process (could be 1, could be 10, etc.). In Salesforce, we load the field so that each registration is "stacked" and displayed one on top of the other. If I use this field as a token in a Marketo email, the content within that fields does not stay stacked, but rather comes in linearly.Is it possible, perhaps with some HTML coding, to allow for the content to remain stacked when brought in via the Marketo token?In info helps!Thanks,Andrew

Hi,I created a horizontal app but couldn't get past the intro graphic (to my home collection). I looked at the default layout and it looks as though it's portrait, even the app setting is horizontal. Hi all,we created our first campaign with great online content gated by a Marketo form. Now the program shows me in the reports that we have several leads who filled out the form we already knew before. But it also shows me that we have some new names as well.Is there a way to create a smart list that shows only the new names/new leads?Best,Katrin

I'm creating an event that allows people to invite co-workers.  So, we want to know how many additional guests, he/she is going to invite.  I'll have a field in the form asking for that, but I'm not sure how to map this?  I don't want this to be sync to SFDC because this will be just one time event and there's no value to capture that information in SFDC.  I just want to be able to pull the data from Marketo to get a count of participants.  Is there a way to do this?Thank you!

Hi all,We are currently using a custom subscription object to segment our different types of customers. It looks like custom objects are not supported in Segmentations now. Has anyone created an elegant workaround for this besides smart lists, that can take a long time to load?Perhaps a two step process: make smart lists that ensure leads are only in one smart list, and then set up a Marketo field to trigger off of...Let me know what you guys have done to address this issue!

Hi,I am trying to call REST end (create/update lead), I am getting the following response:{  "requestId": "f618#14e76a888a9", "result": [{"status": "skipped","reasons": [{"code": "1003","message": "Value for requried field 'id' not specified"}]}],"success": true}While the error message is proper and justified, my problem is with the "success" value. Why is it set to "true" when my operation failed? Shouldn't it be false?I am using this flag to raise exception in my code. In above case, it failed.
