When we make a post on social media, how do you shorten a URL link posted on social media to drive them to certain pages on your website?

We have a vast amount of "dead" leads in SFDC which we want to keep in there but remove from Marketo. We have already synced the two systems, is it possible to essentially hide these leads from Marketo?

We will be at a tradeshow next week and will import our list of booth visitors after the end of each day to send a follow up email. Can someone confirm that if I import the list as untrusted and with Normal default status, and there are new leads in there, that those new leads will remain in Marketo only, and not sync over to SFDC and create new leads in SFDC? We want to keep them in Marketo only first. Is this possible also using the 'trusted' source? I did already block field updates to the First and Last Name fields, so we will only be uploading email addresses. I am always nervous and unclear about how to correctly import an untrusted list in Marketo. Thanks,

We have 5 separate score fields for 5 different products, so I need to be able to accurately categorize activities related to each product type, e.g. when someone attended a webinar about a "productA", the system should add score only to the "ProductA score" field. I am currently using program, email etc name contains "productA" filter to categorize, but the results are not accurate as we have people accross 4 continents using the same Marketo instance, and they have different naming conventions in each region.Program tags could be a perfect solution for this, if I could just create a "Product type" tag and make it required, and then score based on program success:Program Status was Changed + Constraints:  Success=True, Program Tag is "ProductA" -> ProductA Score =+10Sadly , as of now, it doesn't seem possible to use Program tags anywhere outside of analytics.Has anyone found a workaround for this? Or how do you make sure you score a

I have an engagement program with 4 different streams. Each stream has 1 program which sends out 2 emails. The first email gets sent at 10:15AM and if they don't click on anything the second email gets sent out a week later. If I pause a record after the first email, does that mean he/she will not receive the second email within the same program?

Does anyone know if the outlook plug-in works for Mac? I saw a post from 2011 where the application wasn't compatible, I'm not sure if that's changed?

Select Layouts and Cards are failing to update properly. This is true for unpublished Layouts with no associated Collections, and for unpublished Cards with no associated Layouts. In addition, in some instances for published Layouts or Cards show a Status of “Update Failed, Out of Date," but changes are making their way to the app. This is occurring to some Layouts and Cards, but not all; in addition, some Layouts and Cards work fine for a time and then fail to publish or won’t delete. Is this a known issue? [using publish.adobe.com, app version 2015.2.100]

We are trying to target c-suite individuals at our key customer accounts but all the emails appear to be getting consistently caught in a quarantine (email shows as delivered but with no subsequent activity). We have a dedicated IP in Marketo and I'm wondering if there are any suggestions for the best way to reach individuals at this level. Thanks!

Hi-I am finding it difficult to clean up our Sales Insight email template list. When I navigate to the approved email in Marketo and click edit, the Sales Insight checkbox is not checked.  I figured it would be as simple as unchecking it.  Can someone explain the steps for removing an email from our Sales Insight list, please?

We are about to institute an integrator server for selling subscriptions ourselves. Is that documentation still good with this new version? When will Newsstand go away and how will that change things with subscriptions? Also, it appears that you can create collections(folios) for Android and Windows with DPS 2015. Who is supporting Android and windows subscriptions? Can you set those up with a year subscription or will it still be selling individual magazines?Also, what is involved with migrating existing folios from DPS14 to DPS15?

I really like the out-of-the-box opportunity influence analyzer, but would like to build a report that aggregates the data for many opportunities. For example, I would like to report on trade shows and their influence on opportunities - i.e. trade show "X" influenced "##" of opportunities.Is anyone using Marketo for this type of reporting? I setup an email subject line A/B test. The emails were sent as part of a smart campaign within an engagement stream. However, the smart campaign only emailed the one version of the subject line and not the other. Any ideas why this happened. I used the challenger/champion model and made sure all the subject lines were approved for the test before the smart campaign was initiated. 

My company has 2 separate domain names.  Our marketo instance was originally set up using pages.companyA.comWe have had an additional CNAME created and pointed to our marketo account string so that we could also build landing pages on info.companyB.comI am in the workspace for companyB, and trying to update the URL for the landing pages so that it is info.companyB.com/landing-page-2 but it is only pulling from the pages.companyA.com domain and I am not finding how I can update that information.  When I added the domain alias, it looks like I can only do one kind of redirect rule at a time.  Has anyone done work with multiple different top name domains that could explain to me how this works a little better. Everything I can find on the community so far just explains different CNAMES but doesn't really tell me how to use multiples at the same time.

Hi, I am not a developer but I use DPS to design content based apps. So forgive if my questions are too basic for most of the folks here.So far I have only used Indesign and Muse to design my app content, in the old DPS system. I used muse to design and export HTML slideshows. I have two questions -1. What are the new tools for DPS 2015 in Indesign. I installed the plug in and notice the following tools as part of DPS 2015 in Indesign -- Export DPS article- New "Overlay" panelis there anything else ?2. DPS 2015 can have Articles exported from Indesign or HTML articles.For HTML articles, what do I need to ask my developer ? As I mentioned I am not a developer but would need to get some content designed by a developer in HTML5. I know we can covert the HTML articles using the HTML package utility. But Are there any specifications/guidelines for creating HTML articles specifically for using in DPS 2015 apps. Thanks in advance.-MP

I have my top level collection of my test app with a working background image. I am trying to add a background image to another collection in my app, and it will save, upload and publish - however even having done the update each time, the background still stays white. Going back into the collection settings, the background image I made is uploaded and appears correctly but is absent from the app.I tried uploading an image with the size necessary for the iPhone, I tried uploading one with the 2048 dimensions, and I tried uploading the image I used for my first background at top level which is still working - but none have appeared on my app.Is there a bug in the system for this? Is there another way of working the background image that I am not aware of or has been updated in Digital Publishing Suite?

Hi Marketing Nation,We're working on our first engagement program and we're running into some unknowns regarding program status. Here's the set up: Engagement program set up with program status (defaults): Not in program, member, engaged (success) Engagement program channel is set up as "Nuture Parent" We have child programs set up underneath and inserted into streams as we need to better control who gets which email, etc. For the child programs, we set up a new nurturing channel "Nurture Child" with standard program statuses like: Not in progam, member, clicked offer link (success), downloaded paper (success), playback webinar (success).  We set up a campaign to track success status within each child program and then update the Parent Engagement program status to "engaged". For purposes of reporting and success attribution to the channel, does anyone have best practices for setting the program status for the engagement program? I'd love to hear

Hi,I've set up an engagement program and I want to set up Program Statuses, but obviously multiple emails will be going oout, along with multiple landing pages etc.  I want to be able to show leads progress through the various statuses, however, I'm worried that leads could jump back and forth through the statuses as the multple emails and landing pages are interacted with.Can anyone confirm if leads will go back and forth in an engagement program?ThanksJuli
