Hi!I am working on creating a Smart List with the following constraints:Visits Web PageWeb Page: is anyQuerystring: contains: utm_medium=social;Querystring: not contains: utm_source=Facebook_Ads; utm_source=Twitter_Ads; utm_source=LinkedIn_AdsCan we create a Smart List with two constraints that are opposite (contains & not contains) under the same trigger? Shall I create the filters with two triggers instead, such as:Visits Web PageWeb Page: is anyQuerystring: contains: utm_medium=social;Visits Web PageWeb Page: is anyQuerystring: not contains: utm_source=Facebook_Ads; utm_source=Twitter_Ads; utm_source=LinkedIn_AdsThanks for your help!Emma

I want to jazz up our email design and I'm not sure where I can go.  Are you able to help with pointing me in the right direction as to what services are out there please? Needs to be done in a cost effective manner? Who would do this?

Hi,I've downloaded and signed the .ipa file. But when I load it to the iPad via iTunes, the icon on the iPad appears gray and says "Installing" and it doesn't pass that point.Does anybody else experienced this issue? Is there another way around it to view it?Thanks,Cindy J.

Coming over from Pardot, I was told that Marketo has an easy import (like Pardot) where you can paste a URL in, and it copies the page usually 100% accurate into a landing page.But I was just told that it only imports the images. Very unhelpful and disappointing.How do you all import a complicated web site and use it to create a landing page? What I want to import is this page I designed. It's not complete, but it's close. riskassistlanding1.businesscatalyst.com/index.htmlI was told to import the images, java, scripts, css and form info and then change the URL. I did that but it looks like a big mess. Outside some of the images appearing, it's maybe the worse looking web site ever.

I'm unable to connect to my cases as I receive a timed out error whenever I attempt to access that section. Is this happening to anyone else or is the issue just on my end? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone,I was wondering if anyone have face this issue of having multiple contacts using the same email address (generic email address).My issue is that Marketo is updating these contacts first name, last name... because it recognises the email address (which is used by several persons so it may always change the information).How would you deal with this issue? Hi -I have created a multi-field pdf form that includes a button that generates an email.  The email body contains content of specified fields.  All this is working fine.  The issue is that in one of the fields, a network path is entered.  When the email is generated that information is included in the body of the email and often the resulting link is broken, because the path often contains spaces in the path name.  It seems that i can fix this issue if the empty spaces in the path are replaced by %, for example, prior to having users generate the email.How do I create a javascript event that looks at the raw value of the field where the network path is stored and replace any blank spaces with a % sign?Thank you so much in advance for your help!!!!

Which way is the easy one to get a link reference when filling out the project settings?

I am in the process of rethinking what we define as "Success" within a program. We originally built success to mean MQL as a result of a specific program. However, with our event and webinar programs, we tend to send all attendees to sales (MQL). Example 50 registrants 35 attendees, 35 marked as success.Does anyone have any other philosophy here when it comes to program success? Should success be program specific or more of a non-program specific metric like MQL? What are the pro's and con's to each option?

Hi all, Just experimenting for the first time with the new Email program. Love the A/B testing features and the sweet dashboard. Two minor nits to pick -- wonder if I am missing something here. 1) Scheduling: when I went to run my campaign I was suprised I could only schedule it on the quarter-hour and not run it immediately as with a batch smart campaign. Is there any way around this? If not I think this is a real limitation. It would be great to schedule it for any time we want or run it immediately if desired.2) What program statuses are updated automatically? The email program channel comes with "Member" and "Engaged" I believe but I have customized these to match the way we are used to reporting on email programs, On ListSentOpenedClickedetc. On List now = member which I guess is the default and is set by the program when the lead is picked up in the smart list. I am using smart campaigns to update the other stasues.My question is, what other program status upd

We're in the process of migrating from Pardot to Marketo. Having difficulty finding the precise answer in Marketo Docs on how to migrate all of our Custom Redirects in Pardot over to Marketo. Does anyone have the answer?Many thanks,Patrick

Something I had never thought about much has come up as an issue and I was hoping someone could help shed a little more light on this.I've moved from having Unsubscribe HTML/Text globally defined to using {{system.unsubscribeLink}} inside an email template. This works just fine and, because the behavior is not default (no form passing--one click unsubscribe), I have a smart campaign that manually flips the record to Unsubscribed. What I'm curious about is how Marketo uses the trigger and filter for Unsubscribe(d|s) from Email. Does it determine this via the form fillout itself or just via the click? While I realize I can just as soon set up workaround filters/triggers for visiting web page in conjunction with an email, I'm curious to know what the actual criteria is for the system default trigger and filter.

When we make a post on social media, how do you shorten a URL link posted on social media to drive them to certain pages on your website?

We have a vast amount of "dead" leads in SFDC which we want to keep in there but remove from Marketo. We have already synced the two systems, is it possible to essentially hide these leads from Marketo?

We will be at a tradeshow next week and will import our list of booth visitors after the end of each day to send a follow up email. Can someone confirm that if I import the list as untrusted and with Normal default status, and there are new leads in there, that those new leads will remain in Marketo only, and not sync over to SFDC and create new leads in SFDC? We want to keep them in Marketo only first. Is this possible also using the 'trusted' source? I did already block field updates to the First and Last Name fields, so we will only be uploading email addresses. I am always nervous and unclear about how to correctly import an untrusted list in Marketo. Thanks,

We have 5 separate score fields for 5 different products, so I need to be able to accurately categorize activities related to each product type, e.g. when someone attended a webinar about a "productA", the system should add score only to the "ProductA score" field. I am currently using program, email etc name contains "productA" filter to categorize, but the results are not accurate as we have people accross 4 continents using the same Marketo instance, and they have different naming conventions in each region.Program tags could be a perfect solution for this, if I could just create a "Product type" tag and make it required, and then score based on program success:Program Status was Changed + Constraints:  Success=True, Program Tag is "ProductA" -> ProductA Score =+10Sadly , as of now, it doesn't seem possible to use Program tags anywhere outside of analytics.Has anyone found a workaround for this? Or how do you make sure you score a

I have an engagement program with 4 different streams. Each stream has 1 program which sends out 2 emails. The first email gets sent at 10:15AM and if they don't click on anything the second email gets sent out a week later. If I pause a record after the first email, does that mean he/she will not receive the second email within the same program?

Does anyone know if the outlook plug-in works for Mac? I saw a post from 2011 where the application wasn't compatible, I'm not sure if that's changed?

Select Layouts and Cards are failing to update properly. This is true for unpublished Layouts with no associated Collections, and for unpublished Cards with no associated Layouts. In addition, in some instances for published Layouts or Cards show a Status of “Update Failed, Out of Date," but changes are making their way to the app. This is occurring to some Layouts and Cards, but not all; in addition, some Layouts and Cards work fine for a time and then fail to publish or won’t delete. Is this a known issue? [using publish.adobe.com, app version 2015.2.100]

We are trying to target c-suite individuals at our key customer accounts but all the emails appear to be getting consistently caught in a quarantine (email shows as delivered but with no subsequent activity). We have a dedicated IP in Marketo and I'm wondering if there are any suggestions for the best way to reach individuals at this level. Thanks!

Hi-I am finding it difficult to clean up our Sales Insight email template list. When I navigate to the approved email in Marketo and click edit, the Sales Insight checkbox is not checked.  I figured it would be as simple as unchecking it.  Can someone explain the steps for removing an email from our Sales Insight list, please?

We are about to institute an integrator server for selling subscriptions ourselves. Is that documentation still good with this new version? When will Newsstand go away and how will that change things with subscriptions? Also, it appears that you can create collections(folios) for Android and Windows with DPS 2015. Who is supporting Android and windows subscriptions? Can you set those up with a year subscription or will it still be selling individual magazines?Also, what is involved with migrating existing folios from DPS14 to DPS15?

I really like the out-of-the-box opportunity influence analyzer, but would like to build a report that aggregates the data for many opportunities. For example, I would like to report on trade shows and their influence on opportunities - i.e. trade show "X" influenced "##" of opportunities.Is anyone using Marketo for this type of reporting? I setup an email subject line A/B test. The emails were sent as part of a smart campaign within an engagement stream. However, the smart campaign only emailed the one version of the subject line and not the other. Any ideas why this happened. I used the challenger/champion model and made sure all the subject lines were approved for the test before the smart campaign was initiated.
