We want to start a new Workflow where we send an SMS to customers that had their birthday X days ago on a daily basis. We want them to answer on the SMS with a number (1 to 10). Once we receive the SMS, we want to ask them to clarifiy in a freetext (up to 160 characters) that we then receive. The flow we plan to is:1. We send SMS to customers from Adobe and ask the customer to answer to the SMS with a number from 1 to 103. The customer answers3. We receive the answer and store it in a table.4. We directly after receiving the SMS send another text, asking for clarification in a freetext format5. We receive the answer and store it in a tableWe do not plan on triggering this through an external API, so transactional messages (with follow up messages) are not possible. Answering directly through "Managing incoming SMS" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/campaign-standard/using/communication-channels/sms-messages/managing-incoming-sms) would result in a endless loop where step 3-5

hey guys, I have a requirement to basically create a teaser component from both image and video in AEM.The OTB teaser component works very well for images. But not sure what's the best approach to do when it comes to supporting video too. I was thinking creating a new component which has sling:resourceSuperType pointing to the parent teaser. And then this component can have its own video tab for dialog and a checkbox for media type based on which sightly can be conditional.But the default "Asset" tab for Images is still rendered in that case. I think it might be because of a tight coupling between Teaser and Image as seen from below configs -imageDelegate - core/wcm/components/image/v3/imagesling:resourceSuperType - core/wcm/components/image I had an alternate idea to let use the OTB Teaser for Image and then create a "Teaser Video" component just for the video.Anyways, what's the best approach to go ahead with for teaser with both video and image?

Hello! So this has been working for the longest time for me our SAML services had no issues. Recently my EC2 instance seems to have crashed or had a full reboot and now the SAML handler page is returning not modifiable. I have confirmed that the servlet is being resolved when I put the path in. I checked my Sling Referrer Filter and it has all the external resources and allows them. I'm kind of stuck now and just trying to roam around the configurations and site to see what might be the issue. Hoping that someone here could help! Cheers!   

Hi there,  Is there any way to save the email directly to PDF? My organization saves our emails in an archive so we need a clickable PDF. Usually, I save the email, modify a Word document, and save it as a PDF. Outlook automatically formats it to 8.5"x11" so I need the middle step of some program. This month's email was particularly long and it goes beyond the 22" max for Word, so it's saving as two pages.  Thanks!

I want pass list index value to sling model.<sly data-sly-list.img="${guide.itemsList}"><span>index:  ${imgList.index}</span><sly data-sly-use.multi="${'com.mycom.....MultiField' @ index=${imgList.index}' " />This gives me null value at model. I tried to with pass with quotes , it gets passed as string. Can any one help me to resolve this?   

Where PDFs will be printed there is a requirement to generate output PDFs with a page count which is a multiple of 4. Is there a way to count and add pages, if required? I know we can run a JavaScript script post pagination  - does this give us access to the page information which would allow us to expand the number of pages, if required?  

Hi. I have added new Apache Sling Queue (to Apache Sling Job Queue Configuration), with three topics (workflows). I have configured maximum parallel jobs to 1, and now I would like to check if this configuration works. I would like to assign small ammount of server resources for those workflows, because they run for about ~20 minutes and CQ slows down when workflows are fired, I set priority to min. Queue type is parallel (I'm thinking if changing type to ordered would be better ? I assume that workflows will be fired one by one, never two in the same time, but I expect the same result with queue type set to parallel and maximum parallel jobs set to 1).So how can I check if workflows fire one by one ?

My 2 appendices are <topicref>'s in backmatter. <backmatter>     <topicref href="A.dita" type="topic"></topicref>     <topicref href="B.dita" type="topic"></topicref></backmatter> Appendix A      I want the page numbering to show in the footer "A-1, A-2, A-3..." for appendix AAppendix B      and "B-1, B-2, B-3..." for Appendix B. I have page numbers working fine but cannot seem to find a way to add the A or the B as a prefix.Secondly, I will need to restart the page numbering in Appendix B. How to accomplish this?

Hi,I am trying to create a Experience Targeting (XT) Activity where; Users never been to a specific site section (Such as logged in experience) will see the Default landing page. But users who have been to that site section will see a different layout of the page. What I did: First I created the segments - I created and published a segment on Adobe Analytics 'not-visited ABC (Visitor level)' - I created and published a segment on Adobe Analytics 'visited ABC (Visitor level)'  In Target- I created a Experience Targeting (XT) activity where;> 'not-visited ABC (Visitor level)' for Default Landing page (Exp A)> 'visited ABC (Visitor level)' for New version of the page (Exp B)> All visitor for control experience(Since, visitors will see experiences in order, from top to bottom)How I created the New version of the page for Exp B?-The stakeholder gave me a preview link of the page and I created different offers using the HTML - one for the content b

Hello I am testing out a flow and I want to check something. Is there a workaround for having a clicks link in email trigger activate on an email that's sent out using the built in email program rather than a smart campaign? Currently I am testing it and the trigger only works when the email is sent out through a flow step rather than the program.  The criteria for this is just Clicks on Link in <email> with the constraint Link is <link> and with no other criterias

When using an API Triggered campaign, is it possible to ensure that the customer profiles that that are sent in by the 3rd party API are eligible for email/sms (i.e. have both opted in and have NOT opted out)? We have the opt-in / out data available within AEP. The use case is, that we are helping to send out a highly personalized, one to one message to a subset of our clients but we also need to ensure that the individual is qualified to send the email/sms to based on our marketing eligibility. The data for the personalized email is coming from a group that does not use nor has access to the marketing emails eligibility data. And the data in the emails needs to be perfect and controlled which is why we do not want to load it to AEP.  Is there a different campaign/journey construct that we should be considereing/using

Hello Community!My goal is to have a report that shows the number of projects (and which ones) that have hours logged during a specific month.I created an hours report, that uses the hours entry date as the filter, and it does show which projects have hours, but I can't get it to give me a count of projects - it is giving me a sum of hours and a count of the hour entry logs.  Since we have many projects having hours tracked and many entries to individual projects - I need it to count projects.  I was thinking of using a grouping, but can't see to get the number in the grouping label to count the projects instead of the hour entry logs.  Ideas?  If you have an idea outside of grouping, open to that as well.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all - still fairly new to Fusion, but here's what I'm trying to do: When a user approves an Issue, I'm using Fusion to auto-convert to a Project with a specific template applied. I'd like to pull the ID of the user that approved the issue and assign them as the project owner at project conversion. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get that user ID!! Hopefully this is super simple - I appreciate you taking the time to look.

I searched for the term "contrary" in reference implementation in the search bar and only got a PDF. I was expecting both PDF and Word doc to show as search results as both had the same text and content. I am not sure if ASC supports search based on text/contents within the document. I am attempting to make edits to an existing live activity but every time I attempt to save it, I am given this error: "ERROR Could not validate the activity. Please contact customer care for further help.". I have approver privileges and this only occurs for this one activity. Any solutions?
