I have a Use case where I need to let the Aem authors show a warning that If any other author is editing the same page in Classic UI at component level , Like if "John" is editing text component, We need to let other authors show the warning that if they are trying to edit the same component in the same page, like a popup dialog ,That john is editing this page,  Do you still want to proceed, If they click yes, they can edit, if they click no they can't edit. Looking for ideas and suggestions other than locking the page if anyone implemented this logic in their projects. Thanks in advance.

Scenario is :-We added the pages to translation jobs first time then it gets translated correctly.Second time if master english page is updated and same page is send for Retranslation using Update Language Copy option from reference panel OR  Translation job submission from Project Console. It creates a launch for the page. When translation came back from ETMA system into AEM, the pages wont get updated with translation. If we manually promote launch then It overrides the language copy page with English master page.We use Automatically promote launch + Delete launch after promotion + Human Translation settings checked during job submission.Expected: Language copy pages should gets retranslated w.r.t English master page.Actual: Page won't get retranslated and updated and manually promote launch overrides the English master copy(if launch is not selected for Delete after promotion option)@aanchalsikka @kautuk_sahni

Hey everyone, I'm trying to install the forms core components and am having a bit trouble getting the core bundle started.   I'm on 6.5 with service pack 16 installed as well as the latest forms add-on package.   I've followed the instructions here to enable adaptive forms core components and have got most of the way. For some reason though, the core bundle won't start as it's missing some dependencies:   Does anyone know if there's an easy or obvious way to get those dependencies installed on my 6.5 instance to be able to run that bundle?

I would like to use it in my component's JS but don't how to leverage API in its JS file.Could anyone please enlighten me on this? Team,I had another query opened but I was closed.  how to query JCR to get results in random order. For every query of JCR, the results should be in random order. Like in SQL where there is order by rand(). We have observed that few pages working fine but few of them goes 404.Path pattern is Content path is : /content/myproject/products/product-categoty/product.htmlVanity path is : /content/myproject/product.html I have checked the error logs on publisher.GET /content/myproject/vivoy128gb-storagegold-8gbram.html HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Resource/content/myproject/vivoy128gb-storagegold-8gbram.html not foundWhen we travers page through crx/de repository to actual page "/content/myproject/products/product-categoty/product.html" and performed dummy save operation same page started working.Also another behaviour is after few day's same page went 404, without any content update or any other operation. Hi.   As many of you probably do, we have a Lead Score campaign that assigns numbers to certain actions a user can take within our marketing campaigns, and tallies the assigned number for those actions. For each campaign, we send info to our Sales Reps on the actions contacts take along with their Lead Score tally.   However, we have had this Marketo instance for about 10 years, so our longer term clients have outsized numbers. What I want to do is determine what that Lead Score is from the past 12 months and return that score to the Sales Rep along with their all-time score. The idea is to get a sense of how engaged they are over the previous year.   How do I do this?   I looked at using a Formula field, but it doesn't allow for date constraints. I also looked at using Velocity script tokens, but my knowledge on Velocity scripting is pretty limited, so I'm not sure if I saw the answer there, but couldn't understand it.   Please let me know if you have any

I have a form with a picklist filed with the field type set to "select". When someone drops down the field and scrolls over different the picklist values, I would like a helper text to appear giving a description of each picklist value so they can select the value that makes the most sense to them. Is this possible? 

Annotation tool is not showing up for components other than parsys in the page.Observations:The components have cq:action property in cq:editConfig node under them, which donot contain 'editannotate' property value. Adding 'editannotate' value to each components solves the problem.But instead of making changes to each individual components, can we have any global solution for a component group or any access on a template level works?

Hi all, When I track the source of traffic entering directly to a page (Entry Page devided by Last Touch Channel), there are visitors from paid channels.However, we have not run any campaigns to drive traffic to the page. How this is possible? My theory is those visitors come from paid campaigns (they land in different pages), then they visit the tracking page during their session. But it confuses me why AA shows them entering the page directly?

Hi All, Adobe's solution for cross domain tracking seems to be an output of attaching query parameter in the new destination domain / sub domain (e.g. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/id-service/using/id-service-api/methods/appendvisitorid.html?lang=en) Unfortunately our destination domain is somewhat stricter than others and it won't allow query parameter to be added by anything. I wonder if we can somehow pass this info into session storage or cookie and Adobe can ingest it from there? any idea?   Regards,Felix

Looking to create a report which will show any active project which has not had activity within the past week.  Specifically, if no tasks have been updated/completed, no comments added, no documents added, or proofs reviewed/approved.  This would help alert the team on whcih projects are not making any progress.   Does anyone know if there are filters that could be applied to a project report to look for lack of activity?

Hi,  I’m facing this issue where full text search does not show results in production whereas it works in lower environments. Do we have to enable something for the full text search to work ? 

Is there a way to fulfill a user journey that has multiple actions (email, SMS, etc.) and wait periods that exceed the 30 day wait activity limit? For instance, if a user submits an application, they are sent a thank you email 24 hours after the submission. A journey of sequential emails is then sent to the user 30, 60, 90 days after the application submission. My initial thought is to break them out as separate journeys, but unsure as to how you could accommodate the 60 and 90 day actions as those would exceed the 30 day wait activity limit. I see that a user can add start and end dates for journeys, but not sure if you put the end date past 30 days, if it automatically overrides the 30 day occupancy limit a user can remain in a journey. Any recommendations that can be shared would be greatly appreciated. I posted yesterday about using VTL to find the first Monday of the next month. A working solution was provided by @sanfordwhiteman in Velocitip: Find the first 𝑵-day of next month - Marketing Nation (marketo.com)   I learned I also need to go one step further -- Part 2 of our required solution is to get the date prior to the first N-day of the next month. For example, we need to find the day before the first Monday of the following month, which could be Sunday the 31st in the current month. Is there a similar solution we can implement here?

Problem Statement --> AEM Tag references are lost when we do move/merge operation via tagging console. Steps to reproduce the issue Step 1 -> Create the following tags1. Tag A2. Tag  A --> Leaf 13. Tag B4. Tag B --> Leaf 1 Renamed Step 2 -->  Adding tag to a Page1. Open any page properties.2. Add Leaf 1 tag3. Save the properties Step 3 --> Navigate to Tagging consoleStep 4 --> Select Leaf 1 Tag and check it's references, it should show the page which was created in step 2.Step 5 --> Perform merge operation on Leaf 1 to Leaf 1 renamed.Step 6 --> Select Leaf 1 Renamed Tag and check it's references, it should show the page which was created in step 2.Step 7 --> Select Tag A and Merge it into Tag BStep 8 --> Repeat Step 6 now we are not able to see the tag references. Questions 1. I'm trying to work out how to get a Fusion workflow to add an update/note/comment to a request (issue) but I seem to be missing the obvious as I can't work it out. All I want to do is post "this action was performed by Fusion automation" so it's clear that it wasn't done manually.  I've seen suggestions that this could be done through either an "create record" module or a custom API post but I've not had any success in doing this. Which field should I be using and which module is best suited for this?
