Hi I am using Web SDK for data collection and then data is being sent to Adobe Analytics and CDP via a common datastream. During data ingestion we are facing data type mismatch error for fields having "true/false" or "yes/no" type of values. Here is one such error message  The message can't be validated due to the data type error: #/_experience/analytics/customDimensions/eVars/eVar62: expected type: String, found: Boolean. The Schema has these evars as String and not Boolean and these evars are getting values from the data element which in turn is using datalayer to fetch the values. We could not find any place where these evars or any variable related to these is set as Boolean on data collection side. Did anyone else face similar issue and found a resolution? ThanksParm 

Hello, We are considering implementing standardised naming conventions for segments and calculated metrics. Has anyone else done this within their organisation? Could you share any tips on how you came up with your naming scheme and how you incentivise/enforce adoption among users? I found an old post from 2017 but the only tip was on getting users to include their initials. 

Hi There,  We have an on-prem AEM customer who likes to use the AEM Communities add-on to move one of their existing communities site (as part of consolidating all their web experience on AEM ). So, the community site has about 1 million users in the database which got us a bit concerned as the users will have to be created on JCR and ofcourse the UGC will be stored externally on mongo/mysql. As per another thread it seems that technically there are no limits (also seen this thread - https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/maximum-number-of-users-in-aem/m-p/216170), but just wanted to see if there are any best practices/recommendations to follow and are there any known issues? Note: the authentication itself will happen on 3rd-party (AWS incognito).

Hi  I want to create workspace report for download software. I expect adobe analytics to capture that activity in the form of download and download complete, then on a daily basis, I expect to receive daily data feed of the last 365 days of software downloads for each asset. How to create this ? and do we need to use Adobe Analytics API service.  Please suggest step by step process.  Thanks,  

We did a Proof of Concept where used multiple placement with multiple contents while the url or the page was same. And that worked. However, when we tried in app with similar approach, but targeting multiple sceens within the app - the visistor counts didn't match with what it was showing between Adobe Target and Analytics.  My question: Does Automated Personalisation supports multiple screens in the app or multiple pages in the website within single activity?

Hi All, I have a requirement to create 1300 folders in one go. I found that ACS Commons Asset folder creator can be used to create the folders in one go. But my requirement is to create all these folders as contribution folders for sharing in brand portal. How can I achieve this after folder creation using ACS Commons feature? Regards,Priya

Is there a way in Adobe Analytics to prove that a user scrolled down to a certain point on a page and saw a piece of content? Thinking something along the lines of scroll depth like there is in Google Analytics. Is that available in Adobe Analytics?

Hi All, We have a scenario where we have multiple levels of capabilities(L0->L1->L2->L3) L0{    // we can have multiple L1 ’s    Level1{Level2{  // we can have multiple L2’s    }    Level3{    // we can have multiple L3’s}   } Services for these capabilities are provided by multiple vendors( example:the vendors count can be 20) Right now we are authoring the capabilities data using nested multi fields . We need to display vendor details for each capabilities based on the user selection.   Currently we have vendor data given in excel format. Hi All, We have a use-case where we are exposing AEM DAM to an internal 3rd party app. We want to track if assets in AEM are being used/referenced in the 3rd party application. Is there any way we can programmatically update Asset references in AEM? I have already looked into Asset Manager API and could not find a way. We were thinking to expose an endpoint from AEM which would hit by third part app. It would add references programmatically in AEM. Thanks

In AEM forms cloud service, there is no option for "code editor". How we can add the custom function for any fields like ajax or custom validations for the field. Or any way to enable the "code editor".

Requirement is to integrate the entire Adaptive form in AEM site page. And how we can write a custom validation / js for the Adaptive form fields (AEM CS don't have code editor in Adaptive forms edit rules)

Hello.  After updating from AEM 6.5.11 to AEM 6.5.17, some of our Clientlibs for dialogue extensions are no longer working. The cause appears to be that we have ES6 code, which has run flawlessly in browsers so far, but seems to be transformed into ES5 after the update. Unfortunately, the result is not fully functional. As we do not want to rewrite the working ES6 code - how can I turn off this preprocessor?  Thank you.

Hi, I am trying to deactivate / expire a Recurring Inapp delivery post execution as I need to deactivate a delivery post 20 days it is triggered. The end date column in the Inapp delivery cannot be personalized or have an expression so unable to configure 20 days expiry for each execution. You can do that manually by going to Inapp delivery dashboard and clicking deactivate button for the active executed Inapp delivery however a manual approach for recurring Inapp execution is not a solution as we need to manually deactivate executed Inapp delivery after 20 days of execution. I tried to mimic the API calls command that happens when you click deactivate button in the Inapp delivery dashboard however I am unable to authenticate it. Hello all,I would like to know where I can find coding rules & best practices coming from Adobe itself ? Particularly, the fact that using Java scritlets in jsp is a really bad practice in Java webapps and using AEM too.I am totally convinced of this and find this advice on the Oracle website and many other blogs dealing with AEM development, but I really need it from Adobe itself.Thx for your help.

Hello,Greeting for the day!We are using a content fragment component which supports title, table & Button models.Now as per the requirement we have to only show styles based on authoring of model.Eg. If Button Content Fragment is path is authored on content fragment component than only styles which are applicable for button should be available on the style systems to the author for selection.Rest all the available styles should be hidden from the author. Right now, all the styles are available to the author irrespective of model selection. Thanks in advance
