We are working on adaptive forms based on form core components (Service pack: 6.5.21, Form version: 1.1.64). I need to write some custom functions which need "globals" as a param.I am using the examples form the documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/forms/adaptive-forms-authoring/authoring-adaptive-forms-core-components/create-an-adaptive-form-on-forms-cs/create-and-use-custom-function-core-component/custom-function-core-components-use-cases  /** * resetField * @2175539 resetField * @90521 {string} input1 * @90521 {object} field * @90521 {scope} globals */ function resetField(field,globals) { globals.functions.reset(field); } However when I chose this function from the rule editor, the "gobals" appeared as below:This prevented me to save the rule.I can't see any console errors. The custom functions works well if there is no "globals" param.Any ideas on this?

I'm building an email program and wanted feedback where and if I can set things up better.  In an attempt to minimize the number of email sends we have in our instance, I've been attempting to build an email program that new members cycle through and exit every month while the content stays the same. This way, cloning this email program is no longer necessary.  This is a series of three emails that go out one month apart from the last. The recipient list is sourced externally and sent to me as a .csv. Since the content in the emails stays the same (the emails themselves are perfectly static), I want to upload the .csv into a static list, have the series of emails run for each of the members, and then have these members are removed from the program so they cannot run through again.  The way I have things set up at the moment is this: Smart Campaign 1: 1. Member of List: Static List Import2. Member of Program: false, program is: this program/ 

I need to be able to deny metadata edit permissions for 2 groups on the 2 metadata fields that control publication of assets to Content Hub. The metadata fields in question are: Metadata Type -> Field Label -> Map to Property -> Choicesdropdown -> Content Hub Status -> ./jcr:content/metadata/dam:status -> approved, rejected, changesRequesteddropdown -> Approval Target -> ./jcr:content/metadata/dam:activationTarget -> contenthub, deliveryI need to configure permissions such that only users in these 2 groups can edit these 2 fields while ensuring that all other metadata fields can be edited by all "contributors" of the Author Instance:WKND AEM AdminsWKND AEM LibrariansBy restricting edit access to these 2 metadata fields we ensure that only the limited number of users in the librarian and admin groups are able to publish assets to Content Hub.What is the best way to implement this type of restriction using out of the box capabilities?

Hi,We have a journey where we are sending out emails. In CJA report we saw some 'messageExecutionError'. I went through existing questions highlighting same issue but couldnt find much description on what could be the cause, queries to check the details, or fixes.  Any suggestions/advice is much appreciated Update : I dived a bit and found that the executionErrorCode to be 'kafkaError' and in some places actionExecutionError was blank.  I didnt even find any relevant adobe documentation detailing the issue

Hi All, Does anyone know of a way to install the client console for Adobe Campaign V8 on a windows device. Ultimately, we would like to be able to deploy the application to selected users via SCCM or Microsoft Intune however there does not seem to be any documentation or indication this is possible.

Hi, we just upgraded to 6.5.21 and we see that when we try to delete any page from the sites, we get the dreaded Red "error" popup. error logs throw the following error org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Uncaught Throwable org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.query.RuntimeNodeTraversalException: The query read or traversed more than 100000 nodes. To avoid affecting other tasks, processing was stopped.any help?when i compare /oak:index with the old non-upgraded instance i see that there are 4 new indexes being added AssetPrefixNodeName, CqAuditEvent, GraphQlConfig, fragments. when i try to package the /oak:index in the 6.5.21 instance i get the following error "Unable to retrieve primary type for Node /oak:index/cq:AuditEvent" any help?

My WF instance has two separate companies. I am creating groups and noticed that there are job roles already in the setup for my company that I had not created. If I delete these job roles, will it effect the entire workfront instance or only delete the job roles at the company-level? We don't have any tasks assigned to job roles in my company/groups. 

It seems multiple notification options have been removed from the "Workfront Profile > Edit Person > Notifications" area.  There used to be a couple dozen, and now there are just three.  We've noticed this over the past couple of days, and are no longer getting certain notifications (such as predecessor task completed) that we rely on for our workflow.Have these been deleted, or perhaps moved to a different location in the settings interface?

Trying to find out the limitations of Assets as a Cloud service (specific to cloud service and not 6.5 on premises or AMS environments) that we should abide by?1) Limitation on the Storage of native files within AEM Assets?2) Limitation on the size of files stored in AEM Assets under a folder?3) Limitation around the number of file/folders under a hierarchy?4) Any general limitation that we should abide by when dealing with DAM? If there is a benchmarking done by Adobe, it would be great to get a handle to that link?

I've entered the following expression in a calculated field to remove pieces of text/numbers from another custom text field, but I get the following error message: "This is an invalid custom expression, please try again." LEFT({DE:Custom Field Placeholder}, 7), & MID({DE:Custom Field Placeholder}, 9, LEN({DE:Custom Field Placeholder}) -8) Am I missing anything in particular?  Thought I entered it correctly.

Hello,we have Automatic Reminders turned on in Workfront but I am trying to understand which date it is using to constitute something as overdue.Example: A task was entered on 2/27/2024 and a due date was set for 4/9/2024. The due date later was changed to 6/1/2024 and then again to 8/1/2024.The automatic reminder seems to only look at the first due date (4/9/2024) and does not take into consideration the due dates that were updated later.Has anyone else found this to be happening?If so, this is a bit frustrating since I know the due date has not yet passed but the automatic reminder makes it seem like it is way overdue. Shouldn't it look at the current due date to determine if a task is overdue? Any help or insight is appreciated.

   I need some help with exporting the final segmentation results from a journey I've built in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to a CSV file. This journey incorporates audience conditions and exclusions to precisely target the desired segment, fulfilling specific business requirements. However, I'm encountering difficulty in exporting this final, refined segmentation as a CSV file and delivering it to an SFTP server. I know Direct Mail can do something similar for campaigns, but this is a journey, not a campaign. Any tips or tricks would be awesome!! I am working with a coworker to create a report that will show the cost of each license type that users have tied to their account. What we are trying to do is show the license associated with a user and the cost of that license in a column. The problem is that a custom calculation field isn't showing the cost of any licenses, and as a result, there is nothing to show in a report. Is there a way that we can do this, or is it something that we would need to incorporate something like Fusion into? Below is a screenshot of what we are using to call a field that should be providing license cost data, but is not. Is there something in that code that is incorrect or being called in the wrong way? Thank you!

Hi all, Apologies if this has been discussed before—I couldn’t find anything via search. Is there a way to set communication limits at the account level? For example, if we have 100 contacts at Company ABC and are sending an email but want to limit it to only 5 recipients from that company, is there a built-in way to do this? Or would this need to be handled through Smart List filtering? Thanks!

Hi Team,We’ve encountered an issue with the form checkboxes in one of our pages and would appreciate your help in resolving it.Here’s the scenario:We have used the same form in two different elements on the page.In the top element, the form checkboxes are working perfectly fine.However, in the bottom element, the form checkboxes are not working.Also, sometimes the form got duplicated and shown under the original formWe’ve tried isolating the issue by keeping only the bottom element on the page, but the checkboxes still don’t function as expected. Interestingly, the same form works correctly when embedded in the top element.Additional details:The checkboxes are added with customized styling.We’ve checked for duplicate IDs, missing classes, and potential JavaScript/CSS conflicts, but the issue persists.Could someone please take a look and help us identify the root cause? Hello. I am looking for pointers on the best method to do this. I've never actually been asked by users for this and I know there have been some changes in what possible.If I have a team that wants to see the diffference between the planned and actual hours in a column, my first assumption is that this would be done using a calculated field. Does this field need to be applied to a custom form for each task? Or is there a method to create a column in a view and do some text mode magic.  I did a search and I know there's alot out there about this but some of it goes waaay back. I'd like to hear from you what's best with current options. thank you

I am trying to use a webp image in page properties under featured image section in AEM cloud instance. But not able to see the image preview in the page properties. All the image rendetions are created, and even this image is visible in the page using Image component.  Also, in page properties i can see the call to this image 319*319 rendetion is success and its returning a png rendetion of this image, but still its not visible in the featured image section inside page properties.  @71132 

Hey all, We have a little conundrum wherein each environment has over 150 variables configured for OSGi values.We have a multi-tenant architecture wherein each tenant is prefixed in environment variables with _TENANTX_CM to easily identify the tenant.However, few environment variables are incorrect and have been fixed - Basically TenantX and TenantY have same environment variable name. This has been fixed in code now.However, the query is when we deploy this to AEM Cloud, supposedly there is a use case wherein the correct configuration is tagged to incorrect environment variable name - How can we handle that scenario? For example TenantX and TenantY both have same environment variable name with value "ABC"Now we are correcting the configs for both by having separate environment variables. But the default values still have to be overridden to point to "ABC" in cloud manager.Since there are lot of variables is there any way to ensure that the transition is seamless? I know

Is there any advantage to overlaying components than just extending them using sling:resourceSuperType? Overlay allows you to copy over libs components to apps and changing them without affecting the original component. Doesn't extending the component also allow the same - you can just overwrite the script where changes are required? In addition, extending can make it future-proof, that is, if you happen to upgrade AEM in the future, extending components will allow you to use the latest available components in /libs.Or is there anything that can only be achieved using overlay that I'm missing here?Thanks for any inputs here.

Hello!We're working on a campaign that would assign email personalization (From Address, Body Copy, etc) to one of three representatives.In theory how it would work is:Lead qualifies for Campaign and enters Flow StepsChange Data Value step randomly assigns a score of 1-3 to a Custom Field (So Random Sample at 33% across 3 choices)Velocity scripting takes field score and outputs Representative information on email sent out same dayMy question is if this is the best way to handle this, especially in possibilities where there may only be 1 qualifying Lead on some days without having to send to a list and wait for more than one potential Recipient?

I have a document report set up to list documents. It is filtered to show documents within a specific folder (text mode from this post: Document Report to Identify Number of Files in a Specific Folder) and project status is set to planning and current : folders:name=final folders:name_Mod=cicontains project:status=CPL CUR project:status_Mod=inWhich works, but it shows ALL documents in ALL projects.I need an extra filter to show owner home team. In another document report, I have project status set to planning and current and also filtered by owner home team:owner:homeTeamID=abc123 owner:homeTeamID_Mod=in project:status=CPL CUR project:status_Mod=inThis also works but doesn't show me the file I want in the specific folder, as per first example. When I put the text mode together, i.e.:owner:homeTeamID=abc123owner:homeTeamID_Mod=inproject:status=CPL CURproject:status_Mod=infolders:name=finalfolders:name_Mod=cicontains I get nothing showing up.
