Working on an app with following steps1) fetch data from external API2) write data to Adobe Analytics currently I only have one action that both makes the fetch request and later the push data request. but I think it might be better to have 2 seperate actions, one for the data fetch and the other for the push data. basically passing data to second action (temp storage?) and second actions makes the data push.this way I might re-use the second action for other data pushes later on - just handing over data and some parameters for the data push and done. but I could as well write modules that are included in the single actions and re-use those for other actions. any feedback what is the better approach? having a single "workflow" approach (get data and push) in one action or separate? if separate, any tips how to hand over the data?

Hello!  I have two questions related to a configuration issue we identified and corrected. We had an issue where an eVar was defined to only have a month expiration, when the ideal expiration should have been "never" (value was an ID that passed to identify a user on site that doesn't have authentication or other method of defining users).  We were using this to roughly tie Marketing Cloud ID to a GUID.  We started running into reporting issues where the expiration resulted in the value showing as unspecified in reports that had smaller date ranges. When an eVar is reset (for instance from "month" to "never"), is data reprocessed or is there a way to reprocess?  Or do expired eVars need to have a value passed again to them to capture that data?Is it possible to use segment builder to check the value of an eVar outside of the date range?  For example a value set in eVarx expired 15 days ago, and the timeframe applied to workspace is only 14 days, but s

This is very straight forward situation where my first workflow sets up some values and second workflow uses those values to do something. My problem is 1st workflow takes time to set up those values and second workflow is unable to get the values 1st workflow sets up. How can I make sure to wait till 1st Workflow is completed before invoking second. Below is my code, It is doing the trick but I am not sure if thats the right way. while (wfSession.getWorkflows(new String[] { "RUNNING" }).length != 0) {LOG.info("Waiting to Finish");} In above solution I am getting count of workflow associated with current session with status Running. once its zero I exit the loop. My concern is what if workflow keeps in running state due to an error or any other thing.

Is there any documentation or perhaps any experts out here that can tell me what happens if a sync between SFDC/Marketo breaks, what happens to the transactions? Queued or dropped? My thoughts are that it is queued for when the sync is restored. The system then probes for timestamp changes etc.   Thoughts?   thanks

We have MSM with about 10 different languages. Our authors are having issues when any time they need to manage contents they have to navigate to each locale location (en, es, fr, ru etc) and update the content on the content fragment. Looking for suggestion if anyone has tried a different approach like having a single page where all the translated contents are available fro a particular content through different tabs or sections? Basically looking if flattening the structure is possible instead of following the Adobe's suggested structure?

Hi,I have a metric which tracks on click of a link on page (no problems there), but I'm not sure whether this is still triggered if I right click and, say, open the link in a new tab.Is right clicking and opening in a new tab tracked, or does that require separate implementation?So far I've struggled to find an environment where I can QA metrics before pushing experiments live - what's the best way to go about this?Thanks,Chris

Hello everybody, we want to classify users on the basis of an online survey and us this data to create segments in Adobe. Does Adobe offer the possibility to implement results from its own online surveys?  We would like to obtain knowledge based on an online survey and from this data of the only survey we then want to create segments in Adobe in order to classify the users. Does anyone have any experience or helpful tips, how to get this data to Adobe, which tools we have to use? We have a service provider from whom we get data based on surveys into the Audience Manager, so something like that seems to be possible. We just want to do something like this ourselves, but unfortunately we have no information about it. Tips, material, documentaries or the like would be very helpful. Many thanks 🙂

I have created my first Mobile A/B test for an iOS app.  I have two experiences configured 50/50 but I always get the data for the B experience.  I have tried running on multiple simulators to see if I ever get the A experience, but I do not.  1. So here's my issue, I have few marketing channels setup for example, paid search, referral domain, organic and OthersIn Referral domain Channel I am seeing a specific domain for example lux.com, and I want to classify all these domains for the past couple of months and push it the others channel.So how do we build the classification rule set in the Classification rule builder. is there an easy way to access the key/values from the env file within the app or within the actions? or do I need to install a node module that handles the env files?

 I have a table with 3 columns and rows row1, row2 and row3. The third column consist of a sub-form each with radio buttons, text boxes etc. The cell3 within the subform of each row has a text populated based on radio button selection. I would like to have a text field outside table which would concatenate the texts from the 3 Cell3 and remove the duplicates. Based on this cell value the body of the form would automatically populate. Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks

I'm just beginning to learn AEM Adaptive forms. I'm trying to manually implement the same layout that comes with the Basic reference template. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the Form Title and Panel Titles to display. They're not listed in the component structure, and I don't see any configuration options. I am on AEM 6.5 if that makes a difference.
