Hi, I'm trying to track how long it takes a customer to click on an explicit link since he entered the first page/ started his visit. I'm thinking about using "time prior to event".But i'm not sure if the time between every event or as described the time from the the start of the visit is tracked. I am using AEM 6.4 version. When I visit a page in layout mode, I am able to resize the components for desktop, tablet and mobile. But the resizing is not getting reflected in authoring page for tablet and mobile alone. Table and mobile always reflect the desktop components sizes. However the resizing are reflected for tablet and mobile, if the page is viewed in published mode. There are no errors in LESS compilation. Can anyone suggest what is missing. I dont see JavaScript errors either and the same app is working fine in another environment.

Hi Community Members, Trying to disable the component dialog edit functionality, of a Sightly component, upon a certain condition. The component should still be rendering its html, just that it disables authoring of that component only. Was not able to get to it.Have an idea about how that can be done for a Classic UI component in JSP, but was checking if there is a way for us to do that for a component thats in Sightly.Appreciate your help and time. Thanks in Advance.--Arvind

Is there any way we can pass a variable from component to another.  tried<sly data-sly-resource="${resourceType='my/components/embeddedComponent', myParam='myValue'}></sly>can I read the myParam in embeddedComponent ?

This is more of a feature request type post, but would be curious if there are any thoughts around its feasibility currently. In an effort to reduce the number of components made available to content producers, we're creating style systems that apply the look/feel of the component. In doing so, however, I've noticed that very quickly, the number of options available causes the Style System dropdown to scroll. I've attached screenshots of what I think would be very useful functionality; the ability to organize the Style Systems in a more column-based navigation structure. Hi, I have to hide quick publish & manage publication buttons for particular user group in AEM 6.5 touch UI. I tried looking into giving  deny permission in useradmin but i could not find that particular nodes. /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/actions/selection/quickpublish, /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/actions/selection/managepublication. Please help me to proceed with this. Thanks in advance Divya

What are the ways to integrate AEM with mulesoft (other than REST endpoint https) Or Is the REST endpoint the only way to integrate AEM with mulesoft? Primarily for integrating multiple external systems. I am doing this for the first time, so need inputs to head in right direction.

I am trying to run a simple test on my website:  Changing the background color of a CTA button.  Unfortunately, when using the QA links or pushing the test live in Staging, I cannot see the test (even tried putting my audience at 99% of traffic out of frustration).  My gut tells me the immediate popup asking to "Know your location" is somehow interfering with the ability to test on my website.Has anyone experienced this issue?  Can you help with a workaround?  Thanks!

Hi there, I think I must be missing something but how does "Calculate percentages by row" work? In the table below the logic seems fine for columns (total percentage = 300):  However when you switch this to Rows I am shown:  Which does not total 300% but rather 126.6%.ThanksDave

In our page a video is embedded using youtube iframe api. After migrating analytics from DTM to Launch, milestone tracking stopped working .Below are the resolutions we tried -1. We installed Youtube Player Embed Extension in Adobe Launch and set rules using that but its also not working.2. We also include media module tracking, milestone tracking plugin in extension js and created rules. Again it's not working.Please let us know whether milestone tracking is compatible with launch and if it is compatible, please share any working example of it.NOTE: Client is not interested in heartbeat tracking.

Hey, Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent a scheduled send to go out based on the calculated list size? For example, my company sends an operational email that typically goes to under 1,000 email addresses on average. This communication is pretty sensitive so for now we send it manually each time and check the number of qualifying contacts. I'm looking to automate it, but want to prevent it from going out if it is going to send to more than X number of people. Any recommendations on doing this? I'm sure I could do it via the api by first pulling the list and checking the size and then triggering the campaign, but is there a way to do it within Marketo? Thanks, Sam

I'm trying to combine NEW Product X Trials ($lead.dMSSubscribedDate) and NEW Product X Subscriptions ($lead.dMSTrialDateTime) using "any" or "or" conditions utilizing the (||). If a Lead's Trial OR Subscription DateTime is in past 24 hours then that New Product Trial or Subscription = TRUE and will receive the corresponding Welcome content. I think this is an easy function within velocity based on how seamlessly the use of the "and" (&&) function was to utilize.The challenge is writing un-broken code. I have noticed the Adobe Analytics connector is sending across [delivery]/indicators/@sucess metric from a delivery rather than [delivery]/indicators/@sucessWithoutSeedsWe are using large numbers of seeds (~500) to monitor deliverability with ReturnPath platform, so low volume deliveries are showing low CTR% as seeds never click on anything. Anyone know why @8491463 is being used and not @sucessWithoutSeeds? 

I'm new to the details of AEM. I work on the Marketing side of our website so I make lots of one off landing pages and campaign Hero Sections that the Authoring WYSIWYG can't handle (I can't seem to do pixel perfect with a WYSIWYG). Is it best to just create a component for the page or section that needs custom HTML, CSS, and JS? Or is there another way that is preferred?  It seems like the components will pile up pretty quickly this way. 

I have a navigation for my site that an Experience Fragment would work great for but it's more complex than the WYSIWYG can handle. So, I'd like to just add my HTML to the XF. Can I add the custom HTML and clientlib styles/js directly to the XF or do I need to create a component and then add the component to the XF? 

Hi there, I have a question of how to import javascript that I have in the Adobe Campaign Classic to my personalization block. I tried to use "<%@ include file='javascriptTest' %>" to import, but the default pickup path seems not correct. So I am asking what is the standard path of the javascript path on the server for Adobe Campaign? (The path on the server which holds AC in our company is like ......./neolane/nl6/var/.....). Or If I can not import the javascript from the file including method above, which way can I use to import a js as a library to our personalization block? Hello,I have a campaign workflow that is scheduled to send a delivery every weekday. I am utilizing waves within the delivery to throttle the number of sends per hour. At the end of the validity period, any remaining deliveries need to be carried over to the next weekday.Is there a way to prioritize these carry-over deliveries during the next cycle of the workflow? I am trying to create a FIFO solution for deliveries that have waves and do NOT throw away deliveries that exceed the wave/daily capacities. Thanks in advance,- Kevin

We are getting new email templates designed. I have 2 email templates that are used by 100s of emails. Once the new templates are in use I'd like to retire the old templates so that they cannot be selected when creating emails. What is the best way to do this?From what I can see, before I can unapprove and archive or delete the old email template I want to retire I first need  to unapprove and delete any emails using the template.Am I missing something? This wouldn't be practical given the number of emails we have in the system. Please advise a better way if you have one!

We have a naming convention for our content stream emails as above that is YYYY.MM.DDThe content we had originally planned for today is going through some unexpected revisions and I was wondering if there was a way to change the name of an email that was already created, or is this permanent? We'd like to change one of these to 2015.04.09.This is strictly for our own view in Marketo (and not the email subject line). 

Hi,I would like to know if there's a way to easily delete language copies from a site.I've had the scenario where because of a server error or another reason, some files are not committed for translation and left as draft. When that happens, I have no other option but to cancel the translation job to create a new one, but that does not delete the newly created language copy from the site. Every time I have to ask my AEM IT admin to delete those language copies for me. Is that the expected behavior? Is there anything I should or can do differently?For info I use AEM 6.2 with CrossLang XTM as the connector.ThanksGuillaume

What's the deal with language copies - Do they do anything other than create an exact copy of the parent language branch? If instead of using the language copy option, if I just go to crxde Lite and create a copy of the language branch and rename the language node to the new ISO code, do I stand to lose anything vis-a-vis doing the same thing using the Language Copy option?
