I have an event that people can register for, but only a number of people can register for each session. Once a session becomes full, I'd like to update the selector... does it make sense to just remove it? My concern with deleting it was there would be a jump from session 5 to session 7, for example. Or, am I able to keep it but make it not selectable?For now, I changed the wording... but technically people can still select it and submit.And, what is best practice? I am sure this has been done before!Thanks!

Hello, I have a question, I’m currently testing sling:alias because I need to replace some URLs. My question is, when using sling:alias, will the resource resolver automatically return only the paths with the alias? Or will the original path still be valid? What I ultimately need is, if my original path is /content/testing and my alias is /content/testing-alias, I want /content/testing to return a 404 when entering the URL, and only be accessible through /content/testing-alias. I'm asking because someone told me that the normal behavior of the resource resolver is to always return the path with the alias and not the original path, so I’m not sure if that’s true, or if I have an older version that prevents me from seeing this behavior.

I have a TIFF file with a clipping path and a dynamic image preset to resize and produce a TIFF file. I have uploaded the TIFF file to AEM, But when I download the dynamic image preset of that file it no longer has the clipping path in the metadata. Does the dynamic media not preserve clipping path information? And is there any way to have it preserve the path when generated?

Hello,   We have encountered a few images where agencies have added metadata like clipping paths, and the name of the clipping path is visible in the metadata when accessed using ExifTool. However, this information is not being extracted by the DAM Update Asset workflow and added to the metadata node.   Are there specific rules that determine which types of metadata can be extracted? For metadata that does not meet these rules, what is the recommended approach to extract and include such metadata?

Hi, I'm testing some new release functionality is Preview and wanted to check if want I'm experiencing is as expected. I can only add images to the update section comments after I've submitted the post. I can't add the image while I'm writing the original comment. Is that normal?I'm trying out the new image drag and drop option, but I think this was the same when having to navigate to the image from the device. ThanksMatt

An AEM Developer creates a custom OAK index for /content/mywebsite under /oak:index node. While testing the live site. It is found that the index is not being applied to any query within the website. Hi All,Till AEM 6.5 if we need to update the confidence score for Smart tag we can update com.day.cq.dam.similaritysearch.internal.impl.SimilaritySearchServiceImpl OSGi Config. I've worked on a couple of Adobe implementations and with the tool itself for a number of years, and I don't recall ever seeing something like this. Instead of showing me zeroes where no data/counts exists the rows themselves are blank. What causes this? Is this normal?

This is true with both Native PDF Publishing and the AEM Sites outputs. Is this by design? Or will the glossSurfaceForm and glossAcronym eventually work as DITA intends them to work?

Hey everyone, We have an EDS website which we want to deploy on our AEM Cloud CDN using Edge Delivery Solution. (Screenshot below)I do understand the steps needed to configure and connect an EDS website to a Domain. However, this single domain instance will then be our production. I want a staging environment before in this pipeline, so it should somehow look like this:main----.aem.live ---> www.stagingURL.com ----> www.productionURL.com Is that pipeline possible in this configuration for EDS? I have three translation Projects in "Committed for Translation" and not flowing into our TMS for translation. Now that I have confirmed the language mapping is correct (it wasn't), is there a way to push these files from "committed for translation" to "in process" without having to create entirely new translation Projects? In my EDS Xwalk project, I want to add data attributes to individual dialog fields. For example, a text field includes default attributes like data-aue-prop="title", data-aue-label="Title", and data-aue-type="text". Similarly, if I want to add a new data attribute like data-field-id to specific dialog fields, what steps should I follow?

Hello,  I recently activated several segments to a Facebook Destination account, and I am seeing a large number of identity failures. I do have several non-identity email & phone number source fields mapped to their respective target fields for the destination. Would this be causing an issue? All of my source data is in the proper format for activations, I do know there is a composite key within our Email identity map, so I expect some errors from this. Additionally, will RTCDP activate all emails for a profile within the Identity Maps?    TLDR summary of questions:Can I map multiple source fields to the email & phone target fields?Will all values for a profile within the "IdentityMap: Phone_E.164" & "IdentityMap: Email_LC_SHA256" namespaces distribute to the Facebook destination? Is there a way to get more details to why identities failed, other than the brief description?Thank you for the help and guidance.
