Is Adobe Launch just a rebrand of Adobe DTM?

I use marketing tools outside of Adobe's Experience Cloud suite. How will they connect with Adobe Launch?

I am looking for a specific functionality to be built into an extension. Will the Launch team include an extension that has that feature?

Hi,we are planning to move an existing app from Java stack to AEM. This application has a RDBMS behind it which has some structured and some unstructured(blob's etc).What would be the best (Adobe) approach to move this data. Should i just leave it in Oracle and use it as an external Data Provider or should i move both of the data into AEM or just move the Blob's into AEM and leave the structured data in AEM.WHich will be the fastest approach in terms of execution.Thanks,Prasad

I want to be able to trigger off of people being added to a Salesforce Campaign that has a type of "Event" or "Webinar". For practical reasons, triggering off of the name contains will not work. I made the Campaign Type field visible to my Marketo user but when I look at the trigger options, I can only use campaign name or status, not type. Is this field not available to sync?

Hi,I've created a profile script which is taking an mbox parameter for 'Sign up date' (which is a text string: "yyyy-mm-dd"), and converting it into a number, whose digits are YYYYMMDD. The value returned in mboxTrace for my test account is ''2.0170713E7" (13th July 2017).My hope is to then create an audience with criteria like "user.param IS GREATER THAN 20170728", or any others as and when they are needed. I.e., this is saying 'only target visitors who signed up after 28th July 2017'.After testing, it doesn't appear to be working as expected. In some cases my content shows correctly, and others it doesn't, but it doesn't seem to correlate with numerical magnitude.Is the 'greater than' criteria a sensible thing to use for user parameters, or are they always returned as text strings? If so, does anyone have an idea for an alternative solution?Many thanks,Chris

Hi guys,I have been tasked by my senior to find a few column name within a Database that I can't have an access to via mySQL but connected to campaign.From my understanding, there is a schema called "Data Schema" that contains all schemas inside campaign which means it contains all the table that exist within the database. Problem is, how do I configure list that "data schema" so that it gives me the full XML information that each schema have, and from there I can do advance filter and find if the column name exist or not.Hope my question is clear.Regards,Felix

Hi,I am in the process of learning how to build adaptive forms, and I am using AEM for the first time, thus I am very ignorant of what I can or cannot do with adaptive forms.  My question are as follows: if a user wants to download an adaptive form as a pdf and view it on Adobe Reader, can it be done? If so, what are the steps to achieve it? Assuming the form can be converted to pdf, can the pdf form be uploaded and converted to an adaptive form with any saved data?I appreciate the advice,  and if you have any other suggestions that would benefit me in this learning process, please do so.Thank you

Hi Everyone,I recently had a post with adobe daycare and they said they were unable to help due to the lack of files provided for analysis. They asked specifically for log files (which I provided) and thread dump files (which I did not have created).Their instructions for future queries was to use "jstack" command to create thread dumps for them to help analyze and provided this URL for instructions:  Take thread dumps from a JVM.I first determined the PID that JVM was running on using:"ps -el | grep java" which returns 21777 as the java PID.However, when I attempt to run the command "jstack -l 21777 >> threaddump.log"  I was met with the error "21777: well-known file is not secure".I then tried "jstack -l -F 21777 >> threaddump.log" and i was met with a sun.jvm.hotspot.debugger.DebuggerException: cannot open a binary fileI then did some more research on the internet I found that I had to use the jstack command from the same UID that created the process, this UID is consist

Dear Good People,I am new in using AEM(Adobe Experience Manager)I have a page that contains 2 or more components in a responsivegrid(wcm/foundation/components/responsivegrid) component area.For example component date_event period that contains only 2 nodes which are :- node start date (datepicker)- node end date (datepicker)in the file date_event.js within in component date_event, i retrieve those both nodes and return it.then I have other component that want to retrieve node start date & end date from date_event component, but i got stuck while working on it.So i need help how to figure it out?

In the recent past, I've successfully setup a few visualizations (line graphs) in Workspace with a weekly aggregation, but I'm struggling to get this to work now (while the data source is aggregated weekly, the visualization refuses to be anything other than daily).  To do so, I created a simple free-form table with the "Week" dimension and then chosen whatever metric I'm interested in (e.g., Visits, Conversion, etc.).  From there, I create the visualization (right-click in the data table and choose Visualize).  This previously gave me a visualization that aligned to whatever time-based aggregation I chose, but not anymore.  If I wanted a daily grain in the visualization, I'd use the "Day" dimension in the data table....  Did something change in Workspace or have I simply lost my mind?Interestingly, if I view the data table for any visualizations that I successfully created with a weekly grain in the past and then click the "gear" icon in the data table section

I have several docx and pptx documents in the DAM.  Each have sub-assets viewable in DAM.  When published to brand portal, only the first page of the document is viewable.  Is there a way to view the sub-assets prior to downloading the full document? 

Hi Everyone,I need to set up permission on the content fragment in such a way that only the MASTER can access and edit it, SLAVE can only access and SUB SLAVE should not even view it.     1)To be more clear, we have parent(company), child(dealers) and sub child(shops) relationship in our requirement. Some of the content should be accessible only to master and not child or sub child.  Some of the content are accessible to parent and child but not sub child. The sub child should not even allowed to view the content either in parent or child.      2)The content should be shared across pages provided the permission matches with otherpage     3)Certain parts of content should be pulled as a summary into other page.Please explain. I'm having an issue where, when you click 'not you' it refreshes the page .... the form I am using is at the BOTTOM, so it's quite a bit of scrolling to back to where you were. Is there any way to control it, whether it's an anchor, or preventing the page from refreshing and just refreshing the form with a new cookie, or what are my options? Anyone have experience doing this?

I do weekly email campaigns to various segments in my database. Some of these segments are based on job titles and some are based on geo - location (city, state, etc.).Therefor an individual can be part of multiple segments. For example, a person who is an HR Director (Job Title) and lives in Sacramento (Location) would receive content in their email related to the job title HR Director and the location Sacramento. Another person who just falls in the Sacramento segment (and is not an HR Director) would only receive Sacramento related information. Any thoughts on the best way to handle this. Is there a way to do one email that pulls all segment specific information into each email.
