Hi all!We have implemented product recommendations on our product details pages across all of our sites.  I'm already capturing (as an event) all instances where visitors are clicking on a recommendation.  I'm also able to capture the Product SKU for the item which they have clicked.I'm now trying to determine the best way to track what they are actually purchasing AFTER they have clicked on a recommendation.  More specifically, I need to know if they are actually purchasing a recommendation they have clicked on.  Any suggestions?Thanks!Randy

Hi guys,I noticed the translation framework will create a new copy of the original content under the target language folder. So my data size increases by whatever size the original content was every time I use the translation framework to add a new language. Even though all languages use the same binary file and it's only the metadata that gets translated, the translation framework makes a new copy of the binary for each of the translated languages.This is not a problem when the size of the original content is small, but when you are dealing with petabytes, adding a few more petabytes every time a new language is added is expensive.I know in some other systems, when dealing with multilingual asset metadata, the binary is unique and it's only the metadata that gets translated.My question to you guys is, what are the reasons why AEM needs/wants to create a copy of the asset binaries every time a new language is added?Thanks in advance for all your help.

I sent an outbound email campaign, and only a fraction are showing as sent. Some of that undelivered is from invalid emails, unsubscribed, suspended, etc., but the majority of leads' activity logs cite "skipped status unchanged", with no more information. I created smartlists for "not was sent email" and "not was delivered email", but these give me the "who" more than the "why".The campaign was cloned from a previous campaign that didn't have issues, and the smartlist was pulling from a smartlist and static list.What else should I be looking for?

I have a record whose email went invalid. I have since fixed to the correct email, how do I reverse the fact that it's invalid? Do I have to create a new record and merge the history? Thanks!

Hi Marketo,I'm not sure if a ticket should rather be logged or if this is the way Marketo is designed.I have two folders in my "Templates" section. I want to clone from the one folder to the other. In trying to do so I get an error as seen in attachment.Is a folder not suppose to separate files from each other regardless of the respective folders containing files with the same name?Thanks.

Hi,I am stuck in a specific scenario where I need to pass some parameters from AEM to Target. The problem is that those parameters are populated after an Ajax call, and I can't find the way to pass them. As they are only populated after Ajax success, I think that the only way those parameters will be populated is calling the function targetPageParams after the success.I tried defining a function that contains targetPageParams, and calling it in the Ajax success event. My TargetPageParams function stopped working then (even thought it was working perfectly fine before the change). The parameters won't even appear in the Adobe Marketing Cloud Debugger. Is there any way to make this work?Thanks in advance

Hi There,We are using Marketo Rest API to pull data from Marketo. For extracting activities we have to first generate a token(nextpagetoken) which can be used to fetch Activity from the date that user has provided.For generating initial token as per marketo documentation we have to use pagingtoken API? . As per documentation this API supports three date formats for sinceDatetime parameters using any of these three formats we were able to generate paging token using either of the below sample API call:074-uin-407.mktorest.com/rest/v1/activities/pagingtoken.json?access_token=xxxx&sinceDatetime=2013-05-22T11:03:26+05:30074-uin-407.mktorest.com/rest/v1/activities/pagingtoken.json?access_token=xxxx&sinceDatetime=2013-05-22T11:03+05:30074-uin-407.mktorest.com/rest/v1/activities/pagingtoken.json?access_token=xxxx&sinceDatetime=2013-05-22But suddenly it started giving below error for 2013-05-22T11:03:26+05:30 and 2013-05-22T11:03+05:30 date formats and it only works with 2013-05-22

I wanted to get some help thinking through a solution for this.First, the setting:We have a Marketo form for requesting white papers, etc. It's embedded on our website, and there's a munchkin code on the site. When a user fills out the form, it populates two hidden fields with some URL-passed information we need. Then an automatic email goes to the user, providing a link to the white paper.If somebody returns to the form for another request, already cookied, they get the form's "custom html for known leads", instead. This html provides a link direct to the white paper. No email is sent.Challenge:We want to create an Interesting Moment that passes this info into Salesforce. It seems to work for first time visitors, but we want it to also work when a returning visitor shows up - getting the custom html rather than the form.I thought I'd read somewhere that when a visitor returns and gets the custom html this should still register as a form fill, but it didn't seem to do so. Hi Community I am trying to add hours to marketo date and time field which is sync with SFDC custom object and fetch data from SFDC custom object. Problem here is velocity script is not working in this field, is it because its stored as string not as object?I have refereed following doc, Adding Days and Comparing Dates my script goes like this:#set($x = ${lead.Date}.calendar)$x.add(10,7)$x.timeI need to add 7 hour to date that i get in lead.Date field (Originally problems comes because custom object which is sync, does not calculate time zone and i am having 7 hour different in data that I have in marketo, than in SFDC custom object )any help will be appreciated!

When enabling the email 2.0, it you edit a draft of an email or email template, this draft is automatically updated to 2.0. But what are the changes that are really made to this asset ?-Greg

We have one particular lead whose score is not changing even though it shows click activity, etc. Is there any way that a lead can circumvent scoring (private browsing?)? I should also note that the lead was previously not engaged with any of our marketing and has a negative score.Any insight would be great.Thanks,JB

Hey guys,got a problem here I was wondering if anyone else had solved for.Before we had Marketo, all of our leads were just hitting the SFDC Lead Object as new leads - so no deduping, no notice taken as to whether the 'new' lead already existed as either a Lead or Contact in SFDC.Now we have a better solution - but the question comes to me - how do I report on my lead volumes for this month/qtr from within Salesforce? So I guess I need some filter to only show Leads/Contacts that Marketo sent across - but I don't have anything in Salesforce that indicates this as well as a timestamp so that I can report on week/month/qtr periods.I know I will need 2 reports - one for Lead and one for Contact Object - but I'm not sure there is a way to do this without creating new fields in Salesforce...anyone got a solution for this one?

Hi all,I am pretty new in Marketo, so maybe my question is very silly. Anyway here it goes:We have sent some e-mail campaigns. Now, we would like to resend those same emails to the leads that haven't opened yet the previous email, but just to those ones.We have tried to do it with a smart campaign using a Trigger (E-mail not opened) and the Wait Flow Step, but it didn't work. Hi everyone! We are putting together CMS requirements for a future web redesign project. As we get deeper into our use of Marketo, I'm learning new things every day and want to make sure that our new website and CMS have the functionality we need as we get more advanced in our use of marketing automation.Can anyone share functionality they use w/in their CMS to better support their Marketo programs?  What requirements should I plan for that I may not be using today to support better integration in the future? (Form integration, content performance, lead attribution, url query strings, personalization, etc.). Basically, what should I know that I probably don't know? Appreciate any help the community can provide our small, but mighty non-profit marketing team!!

The social sharing is for some reason not available inside of our app.  I have gone through all the project settings to make sure everything was enabled...any ideas on how this can be fixed? I am very close to submitting this to google,apple to get approved...Thank you.
