When we have a webinar event synced with GoToWebinar as well as a SFDC campaign, what happens with those webinar registrants who registered within GoToWebinar and not Marketo via the GoToWebinar registration link? Are those registrants synced over to Marketo and SFDC as new leads?

I'm currently subscribed to the Marketo learning portal (http://learn.marketo.com), but it's confusing when signing up to Virtual events, in the description, it has a cost, but beside theI Enroll button it says $0.00, which is correct? I can't seem to find any subscription information in my profile or any information on how it works. When I click the button, it doesn't prompt me to pay but the subscription was purchased by my organisation so don't want them auto billed without informing them. If $0.00 is correct, does that mean all training is included in my subscription or is there still pay as go elements too?

When using the query string constraint on a filter (ex clicked on web page), the values listed are all counted as ORs right? So any of them would qualify?Ex: Clicked on Web Page: ---       Query string contains: (2) utm_medium=example; utm_campaign=2014campaignexampleSo for this example wouldn't it qualify if you had utm_medium=example but NOT the campaign=2014campaignexample. It's an "or" situation. Or is that different for the query strings?Thanks.

Hi there, We have a unique situation ----when a lead selects a specific option on one of our forms, the submit button will drive to a dedicated landing page. We do not want this to count as a form submission because these leads are not opting into anything and adding them as new leads would not be valuable.  Is it possible to prevent this click from counting as a "fills out form" activity?

I'm trying to set up a fully tokenized email template. But I've gotten several validation errors that won't let me save - metatags, some proprietary attributes, etc.I've sacrificed these to complete my task, but one remains: Validation refuses to accept a tokenized image url. I've tried different html type attribute tags, hoping that would solve it, but no luck. I'd love to get the community's feedback on some questions: 1. How do you use source code fields in MKTO?  I understand acquisition program name, but there are other fields that are labeled Source, Source (I), Lead Source, etc.  I'm curious as to how other MKTO users take advantage of this field for reporting. 2. MKTO and SFDC users - how do you handle the need to update "primary campaign source" on opportunities created in SFDC with contacts that are tied to campaigns in SFDC?  Our team was walking through this yesterday due to reporting discrepancies and noticed that this field wasn't filled on open opps which was not reflected at the campaign level.  Taking into account that SFDC is a last touch reporting system, I'm curious how others use this field.  Do you use the default mapping to Lead Source in MKTO and then update that field with workflows in MKTO?3. Also, is it's best practice to sync all MKTO programs to SFDC so that all members are associated with that campaign in SFDC?  O

Hi everyone,I'm considering having a report suite clean up at some point in the near future, to clear any erroneous data that's crept in and clear dormant variables from our reporting suite. This is not something I have done before, so I wondered if anyone had any tips on how best to go about this and any advice as to what is actually possible (i.e. can adobe clear variables between certain date ranges, do adobe charge for this (if so is there a pricing structure), can adobe clear particular values from a variable that are known to be incorrect?Any information from someone with more experience on this would be really beneficial.ThanksToby

I have Marketo set up so if last lead source is not empty, but lead source (the original first) is empty, update lead source. My block field updates is set up properly, but the lead source isn't updating. Anyone have any troubleshooting tips?I copied the token directly from an email template.

Will the new Email Insights analytics apply to both Traditional Email as well as the Email channel? We use Traditional Email exclusively in Content Programs for more control in Engagement Programs. If the new Insights only to apply to the Email channel, we won't see much benefit. Anyone else facing this issue or know how Insights will apply? Thanks.Mike

I have a workflow in AEM 5.6 in which I am using a Lock payload step before Create Version step. This workflow steps allows me to lock the payload in my case a page hence stops it from any authoring change but it allows me to create a version. Works perfectly for 5.6 enviornment.Now when I created the same workflow model on AEM 6.1. Lock payload step doesn't allow me to create version of the payload. It is throwing an erro payload is lockedIs this the expected behaviour of Lock payload step in 6.1. Does anyone know how to revoke a marketing calendar license from an user?  I don't see that as an option when I try to edit the user.

We have a premium on disk space in our dev environment (AEM 5.6).We use packages to install "content" and svn / Vault to install "code"One idea I had was as follows.All packages that are 2-3 weeks old should be removed from author / publish. Because they are available in jira, they have been installed in the jcr.Is that what other people do? is this a best practice? Thanks.the packages over time can get into the 100's. Most are very small, but one or two can be quite large. I do reclaim space by doing tarPM optimization, Data store garbage collection and removal of dam workflow logs.

When setting up our Marketo account a few months ago, we tied it to our main website and corporate domain.We had some worries about our marketing program sending emails from our regular corporate domain, rather than a secondary domain. (For example, a secondary domain like "@mycompany-mail.com" rather than the regular corporate "@mycompany.com".)Is it possible to readily set up Marketo to a secondary domain? I need to investigate all avenues to determine whether we might need to make changes. If the Marketo account isn't sending from the main corporate domain, would that affect the ability to track website activity? For instance, could website activity from "@mycompany.com" be associated with emails that came from "@mycompany-mail.com" in the same Marketo account?

Hi! I'm pretty new to Marketo, so still figuring this out. One of my colleagues reported that when they changed the contact info in Salesforce, it got overridden from Marketo later on. Is there a way I can stop this? I want my Marketo account to sync only from SFDC, and I want to stop the sync from Marketo->SFDC. Trying to capture everything at one place, and making that as the source of truth, and moving all that to Marketo to avoid such overrides and duplicates. Please help on a solution to acive the same.Thanks!

I've created a Web Pages Viewed report and I'm now looking to have it display not just the leads and how many Page Views they had, but rather all of the actual page views.Is there a way to modify this report or is there a different report that will list all page views for all leads?

Hi All,We are using AEM 6.1 SP2We have a requirement where we need to set default values for the properties in the new Custom Metadata template.I am able to create a new custom template and apply to the DAM folder but not able to set the default values for the custom metadata properties in the template.This issue I am facing only in Touch UI.In classic UI, there is a option to set the default values for the properties when we create a new instance using the custom template.Please give me some suggestions how can we achieve this in Touch UI.Thanks,Selva

Hi everyone,I'm trying to set up some query string tracking for form fills on Drupal Landing pages.  I'm using Marketo forms and I want to track different sources using a query string.I've tried lots of different options but nothing seems to be pulling the form fill into the Smart Campaigns I've set up for tracking.  The options I've tried are:Putting hidden fields into the form and then having the form look for the URL parameterUsing 'Fills in form' trigger with the query string as a constraintUsing 'Fills in form' trigger with a filter of 'visited webpage in last 5 mins with query string' filterBut if I do a smart list of 'Fills in form' or just a basic smart campaign for 'fills in form' trigger all the names appear there but none have gone through the other tracking smart campaigns.Normally for Marketo Forms and Marketo landing pages I would just do the second option and it works every time.  But it's not working with the Drupal LPs.Can anyone help figure out what the problem is?Tha

Hi All,before I start creating reports, I just wanted to get some newbie clarification.props will tell me whats happening on a particular page or with a particular form. So that means I can look at a forms prop by form completes however in the img 1 I have 2 forms that have 1 completes for each (total 2) but however it has a total of 6. However, if I use form ID evar then I get the correct total of 6 in the line items which match the actual total.Question 1: when I use form ID evar I get a new form ID compared to when I use the form ID prop. So why does this happen and what is the meaning of each. I just want to report the aggregate true total for form completed?Question 2: When should I use evars versus props in analysis workspace and what are some breakdown examplesthanks,Scott

Some of us have opted for the social boost add-on in our subscription.  Due to the fact that there has been no innovation or new features added for years, we're probably going to cancel this when our contract is up for renewal in August.  One of the other turn-offs of this is the disclaimer window that pops up when someone wants to share content/landing page.  As a user, I would not allow a company to update my profile or follow new users on my behalf.  In fact, I question if Marketo can even do this.  And if so, why is it even included among the language in the disclaimer:Can someone from the Marketo product team please chime in here?  I'd really like to see this page modified that doesn't scare the pants of our users.I understand the reasoning behind having some sort of disclaimer (so that enhanced tracking capabilities can be included in Marketo).  But IMO, this is too excessive and probably why there's so few customers that actually use the social
