Did Marketo release any changes to the HTML editor over the past week or so?! For some weird reason it is automatically adding a <p> tag to wrap text editable tags. It's not changing any approved emails, but it really is messing up all my templates going forward, as the <p> tags are overriding the template styles! I know I could add the font-size and style on the new tags, but thats just not practical! Did anyone see something like this? Thanks, Hussam

It is kind of complicated, so I am not sure if Marketo has this function somewhere that I don't know of.My company has several different events, so for each event we create a campaign folder and there are many email programs under each campaign folder. We want to see for each event, how many people have received one or more emails, how many leads have never opened any email and how many of them have opened two or more emails etc. I know I can calculate the numbers by using the Smart List. But is there an simpler way to have all the data in one report?Thanks!

I inherited an account that needs a lot of clean-up. One item are the Group Lists. A new contact list was uploaded every couple months for the same category. They handled the duplicated leads properly...but the full list of leads is spread over 10 individual lists. We want to combine them all into one list. Is there anyway to merge multiple lists into one list? I see how to merge leads, but not lists. Thank you for all you do

Hi All ,I want to crop the image , if the image has "left" word , ex "a-left.jpg" then from the left portion image should be cropped based on some ratio. Can this be down through a workflow ? Please please suggest.RegardsRK

We’re running into some Javascript errors in Internet Explorer that we’ve tracked down to /etc/clientlibs/granite/jquery/granite/csrf/source/csrf.jsSpecifically, the line handleForm(result.contentWindow.document)is a problem when an iframe contains content from a different domain.I suspect I can set up an overlay to work around this, but wanted to get some input as far as what the intended use case for this behavior is, or if there are specific components in AEM that are relying on it, so we can be prepared for any future problems that may arise.Thanks

I am using AEM 6.0. Using ACS commons for error handler implementation.404 error is working find but 500 error is not working. I am trying to break test by breaking a component with error. Hi All,I have configured eclipse Luna IDE  with Adobe AEM plugin and created project by selecting available artifacts.When i press CNTRL+SPACE BAR ,i am not getting any code assistance and also files(.jsp,js,html) are not as flat files.What are sort of settings needs to be done to get code assistance or are there any other IDE simplifies this feature??Thanks,Kishore

Hi i've come across some discussions about best practice recently and one of the points raised was around usage of java API to build components insted of javascript API. The arguments were:1 - Javascript will be converted to java classes anyway2 - Use Java to keep consistency across platform (other components are java based)Said that, what technology the group suggest (best practice aka recommended) to develop components? If java based components are best practice, what is the aim of javascript technology to develop components then? Please note the aim of this question is not to fire a discussion about javascript vs java.

With the switch to the new HTML email editor, we noticed we lost the ability to easily edit the style of our linked text. An example is shown below, where we used to be able to select the class "underline-orange" when linking text. Rather than have my designer edit the raw HTML every time, I'm hoping there's another easy solution in the new editor.Has anyone experienced a similar challenge, or know an easier way to manage this altogether?Thanks!

I'm a print designer who wants to design/build a portfolio app of my design work for the ipad . There are classes at lynda.com and other schools in dps suite but not solution. Which one should I learn and use for this project?

I've been trying to use the tables, but since they render differently on Outlook vs. the rest of the world, the tables are either stretching my headers or not running the full width of the email. I've been battling this problem for several weeks, and now Marketo support has straight up told me they can't do anything to help me.That said, I am incredibly frustrated and am completely over trying to use the tables. On websites I know we can wrap text around an image, but I'm not seeing that option in the email builder. Does anyone know if this is possible? (I could probably just figure out the html code for it and build it that way, but just checking to see if there's an easier way.)If this isn't possible, does anyone have any other ideas of how I can make this work?

In the new email editor, how do I edit the styling for links? There's no option for editing the class styling, etc. Also, is there a way to edit the styling for all links in a specific email?

I have requirement to provide authors to be able to reorder the component in an iparsys container at parent level. Here is the OOTB example where AEM has demonstrated the iparsys-http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/geometrixx/en/products.htmlWhen I drag 2-3 components in this iparsys and try to reorder them it does not work. Even I added the action "copymove" under cq:editConfig/ cq:editChildConfig in /foundation/components/iparsys but no luck. Can you suggest what's wrong here? Thank you in advance.

I have sent several email campaigns and all those with A/B subject line testing are not showing any of the detail of my metrics. So I can see that 2 people have clicked on the email but I can not find the details of those 2 people. Can anyone give me some advice with this?

Hi all, I'm working on a project where we will be launching many micro-sites and sending all their information to one reporting suite. The page naming structure is set so traffic from each site is distinct, unique and easily identifiable, for example:Unique Site A: Home PageUnique Site B: Home Page My plan was to create segments based on page name so I can view each website independently from one another. However, will this approach work when I'm looking at data like Time Spent on Site, Page Depth, etc? Will applying this segment know to only grab the individuals on that website...or will it calculate Time Spent on Site for every website being sent to this reporting suite? Thanks!

Hi,I'm trying to run a few programs where I'm updating some information in the lead database and trying to see if I can run it entirely via Marketo where I run a list import and if the email address matches, it updates the fields, but if there is no match Marketo takes no action.As far as I can tell from the list import options and user profiles, that can't be done with a simple list upload.Are my only options to either run VLOOKUP's in Excel to isolate and remove the non-matches before upload, or run the data update through SFDC via Demandtools?Did I overlook something in Marketo?Thanks,Andy

Hi,I am making updates to Marketo Custom Objects via the rest API, and would also like make an update to the Lead that is linked to the custom object.I know I can get the lead by filtering on the email address, but in the case that there are duplicate leads (same email address) I would need a way to differentiate which lead is linked to the custom object. I was hoping there would be a simple way to get the Lead ID of the linked Custom Object, but I have not been able to find any based on the documentation and tests using the samples provided.Is there a simple way of getting the Lead ID of lead linked on to the custom object?

Hi, we're in the process of moving from Google Analytics to Adobe Analytics.In GA we have several goals that we use on a regular basis. For example we use goals in the Channels report to see the conversion rate to a specific goal from each channel.Most of our goals are destinations such as a thank you page.How can I implement this in Adobe Analytics? Success Events?Can I use this the same way I use goals in GA?Ali
