We have a custom form that feeds a report for our stakeholders to know the status of the project. The % complete is not a clear indicator of the phase of our work/the project. Right now updating the status field in the form is manual and not tied to anything. We want to select specific tasks (mile makers) to be tied to the custom for to update the "status" field as they are completed. Is this possible? Alternatively, is there a way to add the "status" field as a column that can be viewed AND updated in the project view? So then, as we complete the mile marker tasks we can also update the status? I was able to add it as a column but am not able to edit while marking a task as complete. Thanks!

I am trying to use Baselines - but I am not seeing how I would show that a project has slipped a month from its start.  Does anyone have a process they are using to calculate slippage in a project or a series of projects?  Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide! Sue

Hello!We have a user management scenario where we create a federated user in the Adobe console and then search for that user that in Workfront to update their account to the right permissions/access. The issue we're facing is that there's quite a delay from when a user is created in console to when that user shows up in Workfront. We currently have the scenario using a bunch of sleep modules hoping that if the search yields no result on the first time we can catch it after the sleep but the delay can last longer than a few minutes; and we can't extend the sleep duration without worrying about the scenario timing out.If anyone has come across a similar issue I would love to learn how you go around it.

Hi there, please help! Thanks in advance. I've a custom field in Workfront to capture the campaign frequency.  Based on this selection, I want to create recurring tasks via fusion. I see "recurrence number" and "recurrence rule id" in "create record" 'task' module. Can you please help what should I write in these two fields if I want to create task daily for 10 occurrences.  I've given '10' for "recurrence number" and 'FREQ=DAILY;INTERVAL=1' for "recurrence rule id" but it ended up creating only one task instead of 10. Please help!     

Hello,We have users that are associating a custom project status and when they select that project status, they're supposed to enter an issue within the project with that status. I'm trying to build a report to see when projects have that status, show me only when the issue doesn't exist. It's basically an audit type report to ensure we're entering issues into projects with that status. I attempted to build it as a project report and if the issue id is blank which means it doesn't exist, but that's not a native option. Thoughts? Thanks!Mary

Hi All,  I'm building out a scenario that closes out old active projects. I'm able to close out open tasks and issues, but I'm running into a wall when attempting to close out active approval processes on a project.  Has anyone ever created a module to do this?  I've attempted using a Create a Record module and a Custom API Call module but no luck yet.

Is there a report or text mode where I can add  @mentions to a Note Report. The @mentions don't show up on my updates report.  I know we can use the Home page widget, but some of my users want all updates in one report.  

Hello Community.  Wondering if anyone has run across this.  If not, I can put in a support ticket.  I recently started using an External Lookup Field to pull in Team Members from a specific team.  The old way we just had a pulldown field that fixed names,  that we kept having to update every time a new teammber came on board or left etc.  This way the Team Admin can maintain their own list by managing the team.Anyway, I got it working however the users want it be able to select multiple team members when using the filed.  So after creating the Field, I checked the "Mulit-select dropdown" option.  All seems to work great for a few days.  Then after a while that checkbox somehow is getting unchecked.  I can go in and check it again and it will be ok for a few days.  Has anyone run across this before?  I have attached a screen shot of how my field is setup.  Is it how my field is setup? Or is this a bug? Any h

We use Workfront for marketing and reviewing proofs. Periodically, we know a similar document was submitted and want to search within the PowerPoint presentation or PDF. Is there a way to do this? Has anyone done this or found this a need?

I've been successful in creating the form and its fields, but I'm facing a challenge with the conditional logic.In the Workfront UI, there's an option to set up "skip logic" where the visibility of certain fields depends on the selection made in another field (e.g., a radio button or a dropdown menu). For instance, if a user selects "Yes," a new set of fields appears, but if they select "No," those fields remain hidden.My question is: Is it possible to configure this conditional logic directly through the Workfront API?I've reviewed the API documentation and haven't found any specific parameters or endpoints that allow for the creation of these rules. The current process seems to be confined to the UI's form designer.If this functionality isn't available, I'd appreciate it if you could confirm it. I tried creating an HTML Offer in Adobe Target, which contained HTML <div>...</div>, a style block <style>...</style>, as well as a script blocks <script>...</script>, but when I tried to insert the offer into an activity, it gave the following hard stop error message: "Offer content must contain exactly one HTML element".  I wasn't sure what that means, but I could only assume for now that it's because I'm trying to include a style block and/or a script block in the offer, though the language of the error message focuses on there being more than "one" HTML element.... Any clarification here would be great. I would like to create a report that will show the sum of record counts for multiple fields in a custom form. Specifically, something like this: If Field A or Field B = Choice 1, then show the total count of Field 1 plus Field 2. If Field A or Field B = Choice 2, show the total count of Field 3 plus Field 4, and so on. I'm terrible anything except the very simplest calculated fields. Is this something can can be done, and if so, can you give me the actual text to do it? Thanks for any help!!!

I am looking to create project templates where certain tasks have restrictions on when they can be completed.For example, I can only book studio recording time on Tuesdays;  orCross functional teams can only submit deliverables on Wednesday afternoons; orMy client only works Monday-Wednesady. I am the admin for our company. Our PM's have been asked by a client to use WorkFront in conjunction with their company who holds the licensing. One of my users can not access the web based access to Workfront on her computer (MacBook Pro) but I, using her credentials on a different computer, login without issue. The IT Team on the client side of this has a ticket but thus far nobody has an answer. It was suggested that there could be an issue with the Federated license and a reset could solve this issue. Another suggestion is fully removing all adobe applications / caches from the computer and start fresh?  Any help would be appreciated

Hi,  We're currently only using the Workload Balancer portion of  Resource Management and would like to hide some of the other tools showing on the left panel. I didn't find anything in layouts to do this. Is there any way to hide Resource Pools and Utilization in the left panel? We have multiple departments using our instance and all users are showing up in the utilization view and filters don't seem to stay. The departments update each other so companies isn't an option to hide the other department users from view. Thanks

I can't figure out how to copy a formula we use for a reference number into a different custom field. When I copy and update the custom names it tells me that "Packaging Request Type is not a valid field in your system".  I'm not sure what that means? Hello, We have people post their travel time on projects to a task on their task list. We don't bill our clients for travel time. I have a custom form that lists total budget hours, then a field that subtracts the actual hours posted to the project to show their remaining budget on their dashboard, but I cannot figure out how to pull out or separate/remove the hours posted to a task where the "source" is Travel Time. Task List Hour Type = Task TimeSource = Travel Time Just need a way to have a field that takes Actual Hours Posted to the project minus any Travel Time Hours posted so that I can show actual budget hours remaining. Hoping someone can help? ...and unfortunately no, I don't have fusion. Thank you!

I've got a report that shows how long it's taking our account managers to convert a request to a project. The "Time to Convert" column was created in text mode:displayname=Time to Convert linkedname=direct querysort=entryDate valueexpression=ROUND(DATEDIFF({entryDate},{actualStartDate}),2) valueformat=HTMLI don't get an "average" option for the column, like I do if I use a standard column selected from the drop down. Is there any way to display the average for the column other than exporting to Excel? I'm using groupings based on the different account managers, if that makes any difference. Thanks.

Hi ,We have a huge where we will have around 100 activities . But i am concerned about performance of the journey. Can any one please let me know that what and all performance issues we have if we have such a big journey apart from troubleshooting and readability issue.Also please let me know is there any possibility to split the journey .Thought of jump activity but as per the documentation we can't use jump if we have read audience.Please let us know your thoughts. Thanks Usha

Hello - One of our users is trying to drag and drop documents into their request and each time they try to do it the document tries to download instead of being uploaded into Workfront.  I tired to drag and drop the same document into the same request and it worked for me, but when she tries it will not drag and drop but tries to download the document.  Any thoughts on why this might be happening for this user when we have not changed any settings? Also, this feature was working earlier in the week and not sure why it's not working now.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

I've been looking and found a few older posts that had text code that was supposedly going to work in achieving this, but I have had no luck. At the moment they only wish to see these projects, so that they are aware of what is going on in their team. I don't know that they will want to manage these at any time, and I know that a project can be updated for that purpose. right now, I just want to build a report, or even a filter, that allows this user to see only what is shared with them. Thank you for your help.
