Dear All,I am following below AEM document for converting Static Templates to Editable Templates.Introducing the AEM Modernization Suite Before using AEM Moderisation Tool , I want to create Editable Templates first and facing issue for creating Editable templates.I have static template like below.and my static template sling:resourcetype is  sunita/components/pages/thankYou.Now I want to create editable template for this thankyou static template...How can I use this below content.html in my editable template ????I am struggling from last 2 days. I am using AEM 6.5 SP1. Can you please give me some idea how to proceed on this ?

Hi has anyone created global controls for A/B testing and personalisation programs? And how did you do it? I was  thinking of using AAM and the Audience Lab feature to create some broad,  mutually exclusive audiences with a control segment with say 10% allocation. Then mapping the treatment segments only to Target for usage in  A/B test audiences.Thoughts?CheersRichard

I have this bizarre behaviour when using event.identifier in a data element.Background: I have several Direct Calls that actually perform the same action, but set a different s.events. So instead of creating one rule per Direct Call, I created one single rule and put all my Direct Calls in the rule’s EventsThen I created a data element (storage duration = None) to use a switch-case to map the Direct Calls’ event.identifier to the appropriate s.eventswitch (event.identifier) {  case 'foo':    return 'event100';  case 'bar':    return 'event200':  // etc}Now, this is where the strangeness comes in:In my rule’s Adobe Analytics action:If I use my data element with an eVar, i.e. as %data element name%, then my s.event gets set properly. Hi All,I have more then 100 pages in my AEM site with the name containing lots of '_-' together so for sanitizing the page name i have written a java servlet which will compare the page title of the page with the sanitized title and if it does not match it will copy the page with correct title to the same location and delete the old page.Question- Is there any way so that i can publish all the pages programmatic which are going through title change.I am using pageManager.copy() and pageManager.delete().

en-us is the blueprint for en-ca & en-gb having 'push on modify' rollout config. And within en-us we have another blueprint, say internal blueprint, which has 3000 live-copy pages. Now the problem is when the author tries to rollout a component from the internal blueprint to all 3000 pages from classic UI the process is being stalled(with red lights). Any idea what is causing the issue?AEM version : 6.3.2

Hi,Can any one help me in below use case.I am trying to send an XML from an API to workbench via a REST call but the value is going as Empty or Blank. Whereas the same is working when I try to send a string.

I am using bouncycastle dependencies for PGP Encryption. Exception in the error log:To resolve following error, I did the following:1. Update Security provider in java.security file.2. Add bcprov jar in jre/etc folder.I tried updating the sling.properties but it did not resolve the issue.Do we need to do same for Production and other lower environments? OR is there any other way?

As per [Adobe | Announcement] Oracle JDK support for AEM We are required to download the Java SE 11 SDK from the Adobe site rather than Oracle.The link provided in the Announcement is http://www.adobeaemcloud.com/ but when I login with my Adobe ID I am unable to use any of the features of the site or access anything to download the Java files.I receive a message saying "You will be receiving an email shortly from Adobe with a link to login with your Adobe ID credentials." but no email has appeared.Am I missing something? IS there someone I can contact to provide access to the correct Java files for use with AEM?Thanks

I have enabled one eVar5 as merchandising eVar with product syntax. It is defined in all the rules where s.products is defined. And the value of eVar5 is hard-coded. But I am seeing an issue with this eVar5.-- seeing "unspecified" in report , even with metric as instances of eVar5.

I am using full text search to search for a keyword in PDF files stored in assets folderFollowing is my PredicateWhen I execute the above query it returns 17 results.So far so goodWhen I verify the results I found that some of the results are irrelevant (the search key word “hello” is not present in the pdf). So I had a deeper look and found that dam:relativePath property contains the search key word “hello” for all the irrelevant results.So my question, Is there any way to exclude dam:relativePath property from full text search ?

My organization is looking to discontinue our use of Adobe Media Optimizer and track our Campaigns directly using the Conversion Classification - s.campaign_variable (text).  Has anyone else ever made this transition before?  My research has shown me that there are two methods, either through UTMs (recommended) or built directly into the landing pages (IT-intensive).  I'm leaning more towards UTM's at this point, but not sure how to implement that process. When I get to the Report Suite Manager, I have the option to Add or Edit an existing classification, however, regardless of which option I choose, the dialogue box below pops up, and I'm not sure where to go from there:

If someone creates an entry in update block like the second one in the screenshot with Source expression empty (not even two single quotes) then the update block goes on and on without any error message.Is this a bug?It would be really nice if Adobe Campaign Classic shows some error message in journal.

Is there a way to change the default sort of files/folders in AEM Assets? As in, sort folders/files A-Z by default without having to List View>Title.

I am trying to create a Smart List send to anyone who didn't open the first send, and I'm having trouble finding info on how to set it up in docs.Marketo or here (although I could be missing it).Attached is a screenshot of what I have created, it plays off the first send, which had a Flow step that added anyone who opened the email to the list (MMEM 2019-11-18 SV.Opened) referenced in step 3. So my question is, will the Smart List screenshot function as I hope it will? Is there a more efficient way I could be doing this?Thanks! 

I have an email where i'm trying to add in tokens for the Make and Model of a new car that was just purchased. The Custom Object is "Account" and the field names are "Make" and "Model" which are housed in that account. Because a lead can have multiple accounts, the Make and Model are sometimes in the first record in the Custom Object and sometimes in the second. I'm trying to write the email script to look for the field "Product Code" = 388 which points out which account needs to serve up the Make and Model. I've read through numerous amounts of documentation and cannot seem to find how to adjust the scripts in the documentation for my scenario. Any help would be appreciated. My current script for a "Make" token, is as follows:#foreach($account in $account_cList)#if ($account.productcode == "388") {>$foreach ${account.make}}#end‍‍‍‍‍What am I doing wrong?

Hi All,First of all I am totally new to AEM; so please bear with me if i am asking something which is already answered elsewhere,in that case you may please just suggest me where shall i look.BackgroundWe have a website in Non-AEM tech and we will be migrating that to AEM. Part of same; we are researching on setting up AEM 6.5 for our needs.Regarding same I need some info/directions for data setup in AEM.Our existing website data is sitting currently in sql server and it is huge.we need to find a way to port/migrate or what ever you want to call it - to move that data into aem.I understand there will be some changes as format may not be a match between these 2.We are setting up AEM 6.5 with TAR MK and really have no clue what can be approach to move data between these 2.We will need to do 2 tasks:1. Move all existing data in one go - doing what ever transformation related task we have to do and use any free tool available.2. Define strategy to sync data between these 2 for delta data p

Is there a way to schedule an email so that it sends at the local time to the recipient?i.e. schedule for 8am, but is delivered at 8am in recipient's timezone, not to all at 8am UK time?Thanks,Kim
