What happens on ad-tracking when users accidentally remove all cookies from the system?

Hello AEM experts, I am doing exercises in the chapter of "Creating Workflow Models" in AEM doc 6.2 (I was actually following an example in helpx. Hi, I want to perform a rollout only for the selected components in the page. I notice that I am not able to select any of the components present in the pages using the small checkbox in the component's edit bar. I am not sure why this is happening. All of them are custom components and not OOTB ones. Any solutions to this, please share them. Thanks in advance!

Hi all,Need some help identifying an issue with cross domain tracking, when a visitor loads up an application form which is hosted on a different domain the visit seems to be getting reset and/or not set to the marketing channel that the visitor landed on the site to, as a result application start and complete metrics are being attributed to the internal traffic source. Can anyone help with this at all? I've doublechecked all out settings and everything appears to be correct, visitor does get the same visitor ID when they cross domain as well.

Hi I'm trying to set up a campaign where I send one email, wait 3 days and if that email remains unopened send another email, wait 5 days and if the first and second email remain unopen send third email.I have tested and the second email is delivered but the third email does not trigger.I have tried many variations to the flow to get it to trigger but have not been able to get it to send.I can't identify where I'm going wrong.Any advice would be appreciated.Kellie

How Do i view the page activity report, component report by date wise?Is there any way to export the same report in CSV format?Please help me. 

Hi,We added two Google Analytics tools into Web Properties and assigned different account id's. In DTM property we created one event based rule for GA and In choose tool we checked all GA tools in the event based rule.In web page clicking on that event is firing with first account id with multiple times. It's not firing second GA account id.Kindly do the needful.Thanks & Regards,Satish Kumar G

A vendor has expressed concern over page load speeds with AEM serving DTM, what are common ways to optimize page load speeds and what impacts are there, if any?

In Target Classic, the tool-tip under 'Visitors' says "If a conversion is achieved, a user is eligible to become a visitor to the same campaign again".Does this mean that once a unique visitor achieves a conversion, they will be re-counted as a new unique 'Visitor' to the experience while the experience is running?This leads to other questions:Which conversion will re-count them back as a new visitor?Does the user become eligible only to the same campaign they originally experienced, or will they be distributed randomly according to the traffic allocation?Is this same method also apply to Target Standard?Lastly, WHY is it being counted like this? Other testing tools do not calculate unique visitors like this. Can this function be changed?Thanks.

Hi, I started having problems yesterday with my eclipse installation, I am trying to set up Eclipse again with AEM development tools and I don't stop getting this error when creating a project (I have tried both Mars and Luna version that its supposed to be supported by AEM tools):"The server does not support version 2.4 of the J2EE Web module specification."I don't know if this is a known error whether it is caused by the new version of the tools.I attach a pic of the warnings that Eclipse shows after trying to create a new Project I don't know if you could help me with thisThanks in advance for your helpJuan

Hi All,For the last several months we've been leveraging Facebook's webhook in Marketo to pass leads in to the system. We have programs and smart campaigns for these leads coming through the Facebook form and into Marketo.As of 7/15 at 5:30pm PST, nothing was changed from our side, leads stopped passing into Marketo from Facebook. We were still capturing leads on Facebook throughout the weekend, but none of them have been able to make it through.Marketo support hasn't been helpful at figuring out why this sync all of a sudden broke. We turned off the sync and restarted it again in hopes that would work, but no luck.Anyone else experience this problem? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?Thanks!

Hi,My frontend team is NOT eager on using clientlibs. They want to work with their more casual and fast approach of using Webpack. I am not very clear on its working, but basically you can develop css and js on a modular basis and webpack will return you a nice big JS/CSS file with all optimizations ran in it. They also like the fact they can use SASS with Webpack.I would like to stick to using clientlibs, which pretty much can do the same (group components css/js files and deploy one big minified clientlib). But I can't really come up with a good reason to back it up.The information on clientlibs is limitied to a one html document, could someone share a bit more technical details of how all the client lib happens? What libraries are involved in the process? Has anyone been posed with the same question of tossing clientlibs in favor of a big massive compiled/optimized JS/CSS File?

A few months ago I created an email for a client, and they provided me with a suppression list of 12,000 email addresses. I uploaded this and referenced it as a BLACKLIST in their program to ensure their email wasn't sent out to these people.A month after the email had gone, I deleted the list (by right clicking on it and deleting list), as I presumed this would delete all the leads. (I am self taught at this Marketo game) My question is: Are the 12,000 leads STILL classed as marketable leads on Marketo? (we do not use Marketo with a CRM)As I deleted a list BUT not the leads. The screenshot below is from one of those leads, and this is all the info I have on each of the leads I uploaded. There are 12,000 of these leads, with just this info, they are not my leads to use so if Marketo is classing them as MARKETABLE leads I need to get rid don't I??TIA :-)

I have the questions regarding  Adobe Marketing CLOUD – Omniture report.I could breakdown the traffic data by marketing channels > First touch channel” to look at how the searcher reach our campaign. And I want to know is that what “Other internal websites” is ? Can you please illustrate how the searcher could reach the landing page with the tracking code by other internal websites? Or any definition of this channel? Thanks for your help in advance.

In AEM we want to manage all of our recipes, they will be used across a number of websites therefore we don't want to create them in a specific sites structure. What I want to do is allow a user to go into the DAM eg the assets tab and click create and in that dropdown there would be an option for Recipe which would then open a scaffold and allow them to enter the recipe data. This would then be stored in the DAM not at a site level and any components that want to display elements of a recipe would reference the  recipe asset so changes can be made to a recipe in one place and all components would simply update. Is this possible? Can I add an asset to the DAM that isn't an image/video etc?

 We had some campaigns-->experiences-->target which we are moving over from 5.6 to 6.1 . In 5.6, we had targets assigned to various pages and assigned segments to them.Also, we had made some modification to libs/cq/personalisation/contextstore/profiledata/init.js.jsp in order to map the right user property to the segments. When a user belonging to any particular segment came to a page, the respective target got loaded. But this logic is breaking in 6.2 . We have made new hierachy as per 6.2 documnetatiob like Brand-->Area-->Campaigns-->Experience-->Target and rest of the stuff is similar to 5.6 . But did not seem to work . In author server when loading a user profile through clientcontext, the target component is getting loaded, then again on loading a user not belonging to the segment , the target is still coming up. Somehow it looks like segmentation is not working in 6.2 . Any suggestion/advice/tutorial would be of tremendous help.

We are creating an AEM app that uses V2 entitlement. I just noticed that the sign in dialog for the Web Viewer looks like this:But the sign in dialog for the iOS devices looks like this:Wondering why they are different? Differences that matter to us:1. The tablet screen says "Username" but the Web viewer says "Email Address" (We prefer email address)2. The tablet screen doesn't have a link to "create an account" but the Web viewer does. This is important. We need this.Is there any way to make these to screens match? Why are the different?Thanks.
