Hi - We have various landing pages which allow people to download whitepapers, request demos, callbacks etc etc, on these pages we have the option for people to tick to optin to further communication.We have had instances where a lead who has previously unsubscribed, has ticked to re-optin to communication.How do I set up the form so the unsubscribe field automatically updates to recognise this optin?

Since SP1 AEM now allows reading from MongoDB secondaries. I have a question around the configuration of this. Do I need to explicitely state in the Mongo Config to allow reading from secondaries or is this in the AEM configuration ?Thanks in advance.

In Analysis Workspace, I created a freeform panel to report occurrences of our particular eVar33 (displayed as in rows), over 3 discrete time periods (displayed as columns).  I then selected multiple rows in that report to highlight, and from those rows right-clicked to Visualize -> Donut the results, showing 3 donut charts (one for each time period).I have routinely saved this workspace, and while the freeform panel renders when I open the file, the visualization pane appears - only blank.  Anyone having difficulty retaining donut visualizations?Thanks

Is there any way to configure and define the password policy.Password length should be minimum 8 characters.Password complexity should be in place.Last 5 passwords should not be used.Password age should be 45 days.User ids to be locked after 5 unsuccessful login attempts. I have some of our inside sales team using the Marketo for Outlook Plug-In.  I also have Marketo set up to send them alerts if a lead opens or clicks one of these emails.  One concern they have is that they are triggering "false positives" when opening these emails in their sent folder in Outlook. Here's a use case: They want to ping someone that they sent a message to last week – and when they ping them, they want to have the original message underneath my ping.   So, they go find the message in their sent folder, open it, add their comments / ping to the top of the message, and send again.   Every time they do this, will it trigger an “open” alert?   Has anyone else run into this issue?  Is there a way to block or gate the alert send action by IP address, so we can exclude opens by our company's internal IP addresses? I think I found a solution.  I can use the "inferred company is not" choice on the alert send action itself.  Hmm... Maybe not. Thanks!

Hey Marketo Champions,Use Case: We have just finished a successful webinar and we want to send the webinar on demand to all of our 'No Show' registrants. I Want to know if the lead played/paused/finished the video so i can later relate to this action with trigger smart campaigns (Example : change status in program to => 'Attended On-Demand' ).I would have preferred to refer the lead to our YT channel (and track their behavior there) rather than using a Marketo LP, as i understand this is probably impossible at the moment , i would like to send them to a Marketo landing page.Technical Issue: I am familiar with the option to track YT videos on landing page (Big Thanks to @Sanford Whiteman ) , however i use Guided LP and do not wish to create a template each time i want to embed a video.Any solutions to how implement this on guided landing page?Thanks!Omri.

Hi ,I have come across in AEM 6.2 release notes that Sling Content Distribution (SCD) is next generation of Replication [0] . I knew that SCD is used for User Profile Sync across various instances , AS SCD works on packages , It is also known that there are slight delays while syncing data across various instances[2] ,As per [1] ,It also gives impression that SCD is used only when there are infrequent updates . Considering above points , Can we replace existing replication from (Author -> Publish) with SCD  ?  As replication being is a very frequent activity , Can SCD  be replaced with replication , If so for every content change in page is creates a package in package manager console ,Over a period of time  package manager is loaded  with thousands of packages . Best way to stop a drip campaign either 1) when a leads responds or 2) when sales person sends email manually?

Is there a way to insert records from a Marketo list (static or smart) into an email body?So if we have a list of customers, say, and we want them all listed out in a table in an email, is there a way to do that?If so, is there a way to do it dynamically? For example, "IF AccountRep = X Then [These Records] Else [These Other Records]"

Since our company recently got blacklisted (due to an unfortunate moment where someone accidentally sent an email to our entire lead database), we are trying to get off of the list.  Marketo suggested that we send an opt-in email to those leads that have been inactive for the past 3-6 months to update their preferences.  I created a Smart List to capture these leads but the number seems a little too high to me.  Are these filters correct?

I just discovered the reason our lead scores are so wonky (Behavior+Demographic score fields do not sum to Lead Score in many instances). Instead of explaining this in detail, just read this idea - Can anyone see a reason that I shouldn't move to using JUST non-standard lead score fields (i.e.: completely abandon the OOTB "Lead Score" field so the total score is never summed on a lead merge)I know this will probably mean the stars and flames won't work in MSI anymore, but I don't really care about that. Will the Score tab not work anymore? Any way to get around that? Anything else I am not thinking of?

I have noticed a couple times recently when one of our sales reps will merge 2 leads (or merge a lead into a contact), and it causes a false MQL to come through as the winning lead inherits all of the change program status activity. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any idea how to prevent that from happening?

I have a date field that I need to populate to be 30 days from the triggered campaign start date.  I was hoping I could do a Change Data Value flow utilizing the {{system.date}} +30 or something, but can't figure out if A) this is allowed, or B) what the proper verbiage to use is - ?  Any assistance?

We have many sites running on 5.6.1 and we successfully did the in-place upgrade. As each site takes time to test, we would like to deploy it site by site on production by switching DNS to point to the new 6.2 site once thoroughly tested.Can we create packages from 5.6.1 and deploy it in the new instance. If we are not bothered about versions and audit, is it fine to deploy the code and content packages (including DAM) to the fresh instance. Hello,I'm doing A/B test by changing the movie playing in my homepage to another movie (shorter one). i want to know if it has affect on registrations.Basically,I want to check if visitors in my homepage watched the video (play video button) and then requested a demo and got up to the "thank you page". "Play video" (video popup) button ->  Request a demo button (page with form to fill) -> submit - thank you page. How can i check if people who watch the shorter video on version B reached more or not to the final "thank you" page? Thanks,Ido

Hi, I got a client who wants an instant win setup. So basicly every 50th who signup through a form, should get a "winner-mail", the rest, just a "loser-mail".I'm not sure if its possible in Marketo to see when a person is the 50th, 100th, 150th who signup. I was thinking about making some kind of global variable to use as a counter, that ticks eachtime a customer signs up.regardsRasmus

I'm a little confused about a few reports I pulled in Marketo.  I created 2 Smart Lists - one to show exactly who clicked on a link in the email, and another to show who opened the email.  Some of the leads on the click report do not show up on the open report.  Any idea how this is possible?  Also, what is considered to be a true open in Outlook?  I heard that you have to click download pictures in order for it to register as an open, however this email has no images.  If it has no images, do you have to double-click on the email in your Outlook inbox to have it register as an open?

While setting up lead scoring, I see our Marketo rep set up template scoring smart campaigns. I'm unclear on the benefits of this set up over others. Why would I create tokens for lead scores vs setting the score in the flow step?

I've recently discovered the Social Button functionality but it appears to be limited to landing pages.Is there something similar that works in an email?We want to create an email with social buttons that when clicked brings the lead directly to the social platform to share the content (preferably with the ability to specify text to accompany the shared post).Anything built into Marketo for this?

I started to create an email template using 2.0 editor.  I've figured out how to get the basic structure setup, however I can't figure out how to get the modules to show in the "modules" tab on the right hand side.  Do I need to tag the modules?  Anyone else run into this? 

HiIt's possible to get the list of audiences for a user Knowing his Visitor Id (using JavaScript or using an interface), How can i do it???My real problem is that I created an Audience in AA and shared it to Target but when I used this audience in an activity, nothings change, only the default view is showed?? Can someone help me on this??Thanks
