Why don't you offer what salesforce does some kind of test for Marketo Admins/master to get a certificate or such from you saying they have this ability. I mean don't make it cost or not as much as salesforce does but you could offer this maybe.
I have suggested to Marketo and it is on their radar but the more that vote the faster it might occur. I think it would be a good idea for Marketo to have an applicaiton for mobile devices. It would allow to use the system when not at a computer or in office.
It really is time we voted up Google Adwords connectivity. Anybody today using google Adwords should be measuring the success through to sale especially when blessed with Marketo and Salesforce. Assigning sales dollars to keywords, landing pages and more is crucial if you want to measure electronic success today One massive advantage I have found is matching a keyword or phrase from a lead that came in by telephone through the data being available in Marketo. So many leads are captured through Marketo prior to the telephone call which is followed by an email communication that often connects the dots on the lead.Currently getting this connection of the adwords and web interaction connected into Salesforce is a nightmare. Please vote this up so we can get a beeter solution
I'd love it if Marketo could automatically create a Webinar .ics file the way WebEx does. It would be a time saver, but I already save so much time with the new plug-in that this is definitely not a deal breaker. Thanks!
Aggregate the lead scores of contacts within an organization to create a Company Lead Score. Marketo users are able to deliver content that helps progress relationships based on a contacts Lead Score. However, we're unable to do the same based on the interest level across an organization. Example:Assume that the lead scores of 3 people from Disney progress because of certain actions taken: Contact 1 - Downloaded a white paper about Oracle Financials - (Lead Score +5) Contact 2 - Downloaded a white paper about Siebel - (Lead Score +5) Contact 3 - Downloaded a white paper about Salesforce.com - - (Lead Score +5)Each contact's lead score is 5, however, their Aggregate Company Lead Score is 15.If there was a Company Lead Score in Marketo that rolled up the lead scores of contacts within an organizaiton, users would be in a better position to act on companies where interest is high.We are now using Company Lead score to drive our inside sales program.

There are a lot of time I would like to remember an atricle or a discussion, would it be possible to add a "favourite" links feature to the community profiles... and even better if other community members could see it.Just a thoughtEric
[Please add your comments below to help build a strong case]Since the FORMS 2.0 idea from Glen Lipka has long been lost, it's time to bring it back and get it on the agenda. It only been raised as an issue for 3 years and more than 2 versions of this community. Even one of recent ideas from the community for the Amazing Race Idea was for form improvements: Form Widgets!.Basically Forms need to be come way easier without manipulation through code. There are a lot of small improvements that could be made to the form functionality that would be a great benefit to clients without access to a web developer skill set. At one time or another, I have had marketers request most of the following list of form improvements: support for HTML5 form elements allow pre-population on a field by field basis as a form designer attribute allow text fields to optionally concatenate the new value with the existing data field masking for phone, sin number etc. add real-time (onblur) validation,
We really need Marketo to provide better functionality with regards to mobile-enabled landing pages. A series of mobile-sized landing page wireframe templates would be a good starting point. So many of our prospective customers are accessing our sites via smart phones, and with Facebook's forthcoming mobile ad platform soon to go mainstream, 'mobile-sized landing pages' seems to be a big missing piece in the Marketo jigsaw. What are Marketo's plans in this area?
I want to chat with my other Marketers while we're all logged in!
Can you add a feature that would allow us send email based on receivers' local time zones under the "schedule tab" without creating programs?
I would like to be able to deactivate all smart campaigns within a program or a folder at one time instead of going into each individual campaign to deactivate it? Currently we have multiple smart campaigns running that have now since completed and clicking each individual campaign to deactivate is very time consuming. Thanks in advance Ian
I think it should be possible to run A/B testing on emails in the same way that the current landing page A/B testing works. Basically, create the ability to convert an email asset to a test group, and when sent by a smart campaign, send version A to a fraction of the list, version B to a fraction, and so on.I know AB testing is possible using the Random Sample function in a smart campaign, or by manually segmenting the list through smart lists, but this isn't terribly user friendly, and can be time consuming. As a user who likes tests everything, the addition of this feature would be a huge timesaver for me, and would likely make it a whole lot easier to track results later.
Ability to pause or stop a campaign after it is already running. Ideally in the Admin view of Campaign Queue, you would be able to click on the Green Play button and pause a campaign or just all out stop a campaign.
We would like the ability to delete a lead from the SOAP API so that when a Lead is deleted from our application
I'm guessing there's already an idea posted for this request, but it would be great to have some intelligence built into the email editor whereby Marketo could warn us against using any design conventions, turns of phrase, or other email choices that could increase the odds of being mistaken for SPAM.
I often direct my team to the Deep Dive help articles since they includes a comprehensive listing of articles associated with a common topic. Unfortunately the listing of bullets is presented alphabetically instead of logically. For example, look at the the Engagement Programs Deep Dive (http://community.marketo.com/MarketoDeepDive?id=kA5500000008QlPCAU). As someone who is not yet familiar with the functionality, it would seem obvious to present this listing in a step-by-step approach rather than jumping around from link to link. In this example, "Add Content to a Stream" should not be the first bullet (I haven't even created a stream yet). Instead, the list could be arranged as follows: Create an Engagement Program Create a New Smart Campaign Add Content to a Stream Add Leads to an Engagement Program Enable Communications Limits etc.
I have my engagement stream set to every two weeks on Tuesday. I only just added members last Friday which I think means that they won't be able to get the first cast until two weeks from today (Tuesday).I'd like the ability to specify to begin the first cast earlier (the first Tuesday after being added, etc. This way you don't have to wait so long in the beginning.
I would like the ability to set up alerts that are ONLY sent to the email address I specify and not the Lead or Account Owner. I do not always want alerts to go to either of these, but I'm forced to pick one or the other. I know you can add additional email addresses to send to, but there's no way -- at least that I've found -- to stop them from going to either the Lead or Account Owner.
So, Marketo allows you to decide whether or not a campaign obeys communication limits:http://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000LBiqCAGIt would be nice to be able to set this for emails generated by an Engagement Campaign when you are testing it.
It's be nice if the image uploader wasn't burried behind so many clicks. Since we all use the internet, we know how simple and conveniently located image uploaders can be. Is it necessary to have it burried in the design studio? Couldn't it be a simple navigation item over with the admin and community button that launches the modal uploader?I have seen other ideas about uploading within the editor which would also make sense. Right now you have to leave the email you're editing if you want to replace or add an addiotinal new image. If you want to add an image, of the two options available, one lets you select an image without the option to upload and the other is really just for editing atributes... Not that great of a user experience. I also just realized that the WYSIWYG editor used in the screen to create this idea functions the way the email one should.
Doing some clean up and want to delete some test files that have been approved, particularly some email templates we were playing around with. It would be great if there was a way to multi select files and unapprove so we don't have to go through file by file to delete.
I know there are external add ons for managing content/editorial calendars, but for something as central to the execution of useful content marketing, it seems to me it ought to be a built-in and core function of Marketo.
We are using a white paper as a call to action? What is the easiest way to deliver this once the client has left their details?
Marketo has done a great job adding the ability to edit the name of almost everything in the system over the years. It seems like the one exception to this is Segmentation names. I found out during a training call with my team that I had a typo in the "Public Sector" segmentation:This is a very useful segmentation that took a long time to build out. It would be great to simply re-name the Public Sector segmentation. Thanks!Emily
