Hello, All I have a customer whose app's mobile SDK is currently version 4.Due to Mobile SDK 4 End of support (https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/version-4-sdk-end-of-support-faq#:~:text=Support%20for%20the%20Mobile%20version,%2C%202021%20September%2030%2C%202020%20),they are considering upgrading their SDK version from version 4 to AEP Mobile SDK (previously referred to as v5). They'd like to know what would be the technological / functional upgrades or differences by each solution (AA / AT) after upgrading their SDK version from the current version. Can you advise or share with me useful resources that I can refer to to response to my customer' inquiry?  Thank you so much!

Hi, So this is a rather complex question. In our authoring environment we have it set up in a way where we have pages nested under a year and month folder structure, and so we have published pages that include the year and month in the URL. I want to shorten our URLs to simply not show year and month, just the domain and page. However, how do we prevent duplicate URLs and the conflict that occurs for pages published with the same title but different folder structure in author?  I'm told that the most recently updated page will overwrite the other one for the URL path. How do I avoid that and have conflict resolution so that both pages can live on my site, but not share the same URL?  (This implies that the author doesn't know or realize that they titled a page the same. Basically, how do I prevent an author from publishing a page that could potentially have the same URL as a previously published page?) Thanks!

Hi,We're running into some unknown issues with Data Feeds to S3 bucket. We simply used a one-day all columns export but the transfer keeps failing. (a day in the past but within 30 days)In Analytics UI we see status 'complete'. However, in the email we receive  'failed to complete successfully (Status: Failed to complete successfully). And no description about why it failed.. anyone else having this issue? and a solution?thanksGuy

Hi, Where do the form templates physically reside when Adobe LifeCycle ES4, WebLogic 12c and Oracle database make up the environment?Does the form templates reside in WebLogic. If the physical location of these templates are in Weblogic, in which file path would these forms be in the OS in which the WebLogic is running?Why do the forms/templates reside in WebLogic instead of Adobe LifeCycle's aem/forms.html/content/dam/formsanddocuments? Thanks,Leena

At some point in the past, it became possible to create alerts that are based on calculated metrics.  However, I've noticed that the out-of-the-box calculated metrics that Adobe provides (e.g., Revenue / Visits, Conversion Rate, Page Views / Visits) are not available for inclusion in an alert.  Naturally, it's easy enough to create our own custom metric that mimics the OOTB Adobe metric, but I believe these OOTB metrics were provided so that customers wouldn't need to create their own.  Anyone know why Adobe OOTB calculated metrics cannot be included within alerts?

Hi Team,  This is with regards to the offer presentation at multiple offer spaces :- does that mean that the offer which is approved for multiple spaces are eligible to be presented to customers from that space.  The requirement here is :- we have 10 different offer categories / folders. <Parent>A  A1  A2B  B1  B2  B3... Now we have offer space created for Category A and Category B respectively.  Suppose if I have to do the cross marketing like :- offer A1 should be visible in both offer space A and B. and vice versa like B3 visible for both offer space A and B.  Can we achieve this ? What we tried :- Since each offer space has the default category which is pertaining to only specific offer category; we created separate offer space for the <parent> folder which is accessible to any child folders ; this works but seems like it will downgrade the performance.  Any inputs apart

Hello! I have created a Servlet that accesses the QueryBuilder API and outputs that data on a custom backend point, as you can see below.   The next step was to pull this JSON in from the Service we created into our Component, which I have set up as a JSONObject, though you are unable to loop through those in the htl. I have been trying to covert those from a JSONObject to a List so that we can loop through the results that we get from that QueryBuilder, but I haven't been able to get that converted correctly. Is there something that I am doing incorrectly on this? I'm not super well versed in Java, so I'm not sure if this is a silly mistake in my code or not.   Edit: removed code from 3rd parties

Hi Experts, I have written an email functionality using org.apache.commons.mail api where I am passing a third party url as part of email body. Hi all, I have run into one issue recently: package creation with some assets inside fails with the DataStoreException: Record xxx not found error  This image is not being used under the content and yes, the record ID is not present in the file system. Data store consistency check doesn't show any issues and there is no way to use backup in order to restore those files. It starts working when I remove this asset and upload again, but doing it for each image (looks there are a lot of such instances) from the 10Gb folder is not the right choice as for me.  Is there any other way to fix these broken references?  

I am using 6.5.9 AEM version and trying to create new basepage using editable template and after configuring policies, it starts showing components to add on template but when I add those component on template it appears without any styles even in preview mode. But if I enable the same template which does not have component with styles and try to create page with that template it shows the components with all the styles on that page. Can anyone please let me know what I might be missing, or there any configuration for styles/designs which I might have missed?

Rendering of my header takes almost a second. To remedy the issue I wanted to use Server Side Includes. Unfortunately I am working on IIS. I've added the ServerSideIncludes in Windows Features, and created a Module Mapping for *.html.Assume we start with an empty Disapatcher cache. I visit in my browser http://my-domain/home.html. Markup when returned directly from the publisher contains the SSI directive:<body> <!-- #include virtual="/content/header.html" --> rest of page</body>As the request is further processed through IIS, I can see "Error processing SSI file" in the browser instead of the actual header (which means at least that SSI directives are handled by IIS in some way). I can also see only single file home.html in the cache. At least something is happening. If I now visit http://my-domain/content/header.html in my browser, I can see the proper header markup. Because this goes through the Dispatcher, the /content/header.html is now cached as a file

Hi,  I'm configuring with direct rule for both the success/unsuccess event capture on the login button with _satellite.track(logged) & _satellite.track(notlogged). Also, capturing along with username value from text field.  Login button on the Page A (Placed _satellite.track(logged) & _satellite.track(notlogged) - Login page different domain ) -> there is one redirection in middle its sign process -> then it reaches to page B (main site  ). We need to track the event from Page A. Config: Event : Direct Call  & Action: Adobe Analytics : Evar3(data element with custom code just to fetch the username value from the website) & Event3 mapped and selected. Problem: I'm able to see till the direct call connection and username value by giving alert but s.tl call is not happening. Hello, I am trying to see if Adobe identifies a piece of code we are running behind a cart/form. Basically I would like to pull a report for a webpage on which we have this cart/form and see if there is any action registered to this piece of code 'step_name'. We just want to see if Adobe is pulling data right, whether it's views or clicks of the code I mentioned.Is this something Adobe can do, and if so, how can I do that?

I've inherited an AA implementation and cannot find in Launch the mapping between the data elements and their relative variables. They are mapped somehow, as the data is available in Workspace. However, in the AA extension in Launch, I see no such mappings as expected. The documentation provided also states this is the expected mapping method:  "In the Global Variables tab of the Analytics extension map the data elements created above to the relative variables." However, the global variables is mostly empty, but there are dozens of custom Evars available somehow. What is the issue here? Edit: I've figured these are mapped via the set variables in Rules
