Hi guys,We are in the process of migrating our site from 5.6 to 6.2 and have had great success in nearly every regard - except replicating the custom index. This, of course, is having a profound effect on the search results returned from the rep. Our 6.2 instance is a "clean skin". We elected to install a fresh 6.2 instance and migrate over only what we needed as a much overdue spring cleaning exercise.As a result, the content of the site has NOT been through an in-place upgrade. It has been packaged and installed on the 6.2 instance like any other node.I suppose my opening questions are:"Can you use the OAK:Index node to create custom indexes for a content node that has not been through the in-place upgrade procedure? Will adding nodes to the OAK:Index as described by Adobe here https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/deploy/platform/queries-and-indexing.html have any effect on an 'un-upgraded' content node? Is this even the correct procedure full stop?".Any advice would be very welcom

I had sent an HTML email and received a reply from someone. This person received the Text version of the email. I know Marketo automatically delivers the text version if HTML is blocked by the receiver. Is there a way to know what version of the email will be delivered (upfront) for a person based on his/her past email activity? Or any idea how to find this (which format was delivered) after the email is delivered?Thanks!Prinu

Hi ,we are working on marketing cloud triggers and campaign. We came across this article https://helpx.adobe.com/campaign/kb/triggers-and-campaign.html and following the guidelines and help of adobe support we have set up the Triggers configuration at the campaign side .we are able to receive the Triggers data from analytics , it is visible in Pipeline events folder. However we are facing some issue in the reconciliation workflow.PFA the details of the issue..Any help is appreciated.Senthil

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I'm having trouble installing the ACS Commons bundle on our dev publish server. We're using AEM 6.1, ACS Commons 1.10.2. It installed fine on the author server, but on the publish server, the bundle doesn't activate. I'm looking for a simple way to run JavaScript on any page to tell us if the visitor is known. I'm thinking it would likely be some sort of Munchkin value as to whether the visitor is associated, but I can't seem to find anything in the documentation. My only other idea is via the known visitor behavior in the forms, but I would rather not have to load up a form for this.

Hoping a superuser can help answer this one.I want/need to use snippets in some email templates, but I need these snippets to be completely plain text. No HTML at all.Currently, when I edit the HTML in the snippet and strip all of the <p> tags from each sentence, the editor puts them all back in before I can save the snippet.Is there any way to ensure the snippet is plain text ONLY?Thanks in advance.Sean

I've experienced this for a while, but finally thought I'd ask about it. Unless I'm reading the documentation wrong, it should display extra fields set in the progressive profiling section in the form designer if a user is cookied and has previously entered the non-progressive profiling fields.Here, my understanding is if I've never filled my information into a form before, I'll only get the top 4 fields, but I'll get all 7 if I've entered the top 4 fields before and I haven't cleared my cookies or anything.But, when I visit a page with this form setup as a cookied user who has entered those fields before, I get only get the first four fields:However, when I clear my cookies entirely, and visit the page, as if I'm visiting for the first time, I get all seven fields (e.g., I get the progressive profiling fields):Am I not understanding progressive profiling? Or is there something else going on here?

Hello, Community!I am using lead segments simply for grouping leads to filter by. When we generate send lists, have quite a bit of criteria we need to filter by and instead, I have created segments with all the necessary filters to ensure that the specific filters we need do not get forgotten; and just for ease of building. One of my segments is based on Lead Ownership. Within my segment, there are 7 groups (8 including the default: however, I am hoping that no one falls into this group). I have it set up by teams, so CSMs, SDRs, AEs, Marketing, etc.What's happening, though, is that with one segment is not recognizing the filters in the smart list. Specifically, the CSM segment. It is a simple set up: Lead Owner Last Name = (the CSM's last name). A lot of these are going into the Default segment and I can not figure out why. The names in the CSM smart list exist in none of the other smart lists in the other groups contained in this segment. Does anyone have an idea or has experienced t

Hey guys, Hoping you can help me with a quick question. I need to send an email based on a trigger of a date field becoming 30 days old. In this case, it's part of the opportunity, "last activity date". The attribute field is NOT changing in this case. If the last date of activity is June 1st, and it isn't touched for 30 days, I need an email to be sent out. In this case, would my screenshot below be the correct way to set it up? The trigger attribute is the last activity date, and the new value is now "in past before" 30 days? Thanks for the help!

Hi guys, imagine the following scenario:I have a custom Template, let's call it my-template. This template is used to create Pages with properties called propA, propB and propC. My Sling scripts under /apps/<...>/components expects the Pages under /content to have those properties.This is deployed to production environment and everything works fine.Now, the business needs changes and I need to change my-template. It now has properties propA, propX and propY, where: propX is the same of former propB, but the previous name doesn't make more sense;propY is a brand new property and,propC was deleted as we don't need it anymore.Then, my questions are:How should my Sling scripts deal with the old Pages (the ones with propA, propB and propC) created before the new Template properties where there? Should I write my code to deal with both "versions" of Page I might have in the production environment?Having a relational database background, I would run a update SQL script to fix the old da

For emails sent in a delivery, is it possible to track how individual recipient has responded to it i.e. opened the email, deleted it, forwarded it etc. Also if the sent email has landed at junk folder. Basically we want to store this information for each recipient.I believe "open an email" tracking is available out of the box. For landed in junk folder, forward and delete, do we have some support available OOTB or can they be achieved by some customization.

My project uses Brightcove AEM component and there is an issue related to the volume slider. We are able to mute it or unmute it but we are unable to change the slider bar for increasing and decreasing the volume. Can anyone please provide any helpful pointers. Thanks in advance.

How do you assign to a variable of type list<XML>? The only information I find on lists is how to access the data. Some examples would be nice. :-)
