I am new to Adobe and trying to understand all the functionality.Can someone please explain the difference between a Query and Incremental Query, and a potential example use case?As far as I can tell, the incremental query can be used to ensure that someone only enters a workflow if they haven't already entered it before. But it seems like you can control that in the Scheduler, so I am just trying to make sure I understand the differences and use cases.Thanks so much for any insights!!Steve

Hello,I just had the strangest thing happen.We have a Program that has all these members that were not part of the email send and I'm not sure how they could have made it in.Does anyone have any thoughts on how that could happen?I checked the smart lists and I dont see how they could have gotten in.thank you-Michael

I recently created a profile script which captures whether or not the login page has been seen by a visitor: if(page.url.indexOf("/login") > -1){  return "hasSeenLogin"} Checking with mboxTrace, I have seen the user parameter working within the same session as the login page view. Hi all,Surprise today when reviewing the scoring logs: Marketo detects clicks on the unsubscribe link.This link is set up in a snippet, with the following code:<a style="color: #9a9a9a; text-decoration: none !important;" href="info.generixgroup.com/FR-Unsubscribe_Request.html?mkt_unsubscribe=1&mkt_tok=##MKT_TOK##" target="_blank">Follow this link</a> to unsubscribeBut the clicks on this link appear in the log and the scoring is fired on that click.This is surprising to me as I had understood that the mere fact of adding the mkt_unsubscribe=1 to the URL would tell Marketo thta this is an unsub link and that it should not be tracked.Should we add a  class="mktNoTrack" to the link ?-Greg

Hi,What is a better practice for using satellite.getVar in DTM interface?1. creating a new Data Element and within the custom script calling in _satellite.getVar() (assuming setVar has already been defined on the site)and then calling the data element using % syntax on various page load/event based rules?OR2. using a custom script in event based/page load rules and accessing the data elementAlso, i have a doubt - if we have defined a data element using _satellite.setVar outside the adobe DTM interface, can we still access it using %withing Adobe DTM without storing _satellite.getVar in a new Data Element?

Hi,I have a requirement where I have to notify an user group created by me when a page is created or modified. For this I have created a launcher which will launch the workflow. But I'm confused about the workflow steps. As part of first step I created a participant step and selected the group created by me. And is there a step which will only notify the users about page activation/updation? I'm not talking about the approval step. I just want the users to be notified.Thank you.

Hi All,I have created a Cname for our NZ website but I can't seem to set up the domain alias for Landing Pages.Marketo is set up with our Primary website pointing to the Australian site (www.rondo.com.au).  I can see the domain for our NZ site (rondo.co.nz) but I can't refer to the landing pages with go.rondo.co.nz/...What is the correct way to add a new domain alias for landing pages (see attachment).Thanks in advance,Nicki

I have a stumper and I'm hoping someone has wise words:I built the following Engagement segmentation for a client, but when I approved it I found only about 1/7th of my leads were actually IN the segmentation. I toyed with the filters for the "01-Not Engaged" segment to try to capture more of them, re-approved it, and at the moment my segmentation rules look like this:Pretty great, cascading rules, no one should fall into Default, looked fine to me. So I was confused when, after being re-approved and re-segmenting the leads, I saw this:Confusing because our lead database has ~688k records. So I waited overnight and this morning I checked in and nothing had changed. So I ran a People Performance report (created at all time, by Engagement Segment, no smart list rules) and found this:Anyone ever seen Marketo deliver "Empty" for a Segment value before?! What's going on?! And how do I fix it?!

I am having troubles getting the "Send Sample" feature on the draft version of an email to send.  Any ideas why?We currently have two sets of automated emails up and running, but we want to change the copy.  I've made all the changes in draft mode, and wanted to proofread before we update the live versions to the draft.  But, I can't send myself samples.  I tried this yesterday and thought there was a delay, and tried it again, and nothing sent.  If I send samples of emails that aren't in draft mode (i.e. haven't been approved yet), there's no sample problem.

Anyone else having issues the last few days trying to send yourself sample emails? I have to send at least 3 in a row before one will make it to me. the email address is the same each time.

Hello,I'm currently working on deleting a large amount of leads out of the Marketo database (we're removing b2c contacts and keeping b2b contacts). The goal is to stagger the deletes out to about 50k or so a night, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get that exact number into a smart list/campaign without using too many specific filters to cut the numbers down. Does anyone know if there's a way to limit a query to a specific number of leads?

We have a lot of clickable CTA elements on our website (sidebar graphics, download buttons, hyperlinks, etc) that contain a Marketo form id via the CTA element's data-attribute. When a CTA element is clicked, the form id is retrieved from the data-attribute, and then using the JavaScript API loadForm method we render the form inside of a panel that slides up from the bottom of the page. This functionality has worked well for months, until recently when we discovered an issue that if the user rapidly clicks the CTA multiple times, the form children elements (input fields, labels, submit buttons, etc) are getting duplicated. The problem seems to be that if the forms script is aborted before it has a chance to render the form, when executed again it appends the form elements from the previous call to the current form object, causing duplicates of the form's elements to get loaded. Using AEM 6.3, want to add one more componentGroup in the components property so template author can see these new components. Hi All,I have a report suite that track www.sample1.com. However, If I add these s.t call into another domain www.sample2.com, I see "Others" in pages report real time report data. This can be because I am yet to add the second domain into Internal Url filters. I have a campaign that runs nightly and leads go through it every time. If a lead meets the smart list conditions, I use the flow step Add to Engagement Program, and add them to Stream 1. If a lead was already in the program and had transitioned to stream 2, will that flow step move them back to stream 1? Or, will people who are already a member of the program get bypassed for that flow step?If the solution is to add a filter to the smart list to skip people who are already part of the program, I also have a second flow step that Changes Engagement Program Cadence to Normal, so that if somebody was paused in this program, they'll be unpaused once they meet the condition. If I do need to add a filter, am I right in thinking that needs to be a separate campaign instead of part of the same campaign? Or could I just use that flow step and eliminate the Add to Engagement Program step entirely as I think Change Engagement Program Cadence will add somebody to the program if they aren't alread

Trying to create an opt in field on a form, that has "initially selected" as true if country is US and not "initially selected" if country is Canada.Is this possible with out of the box forms 2.0 or will we need custom scripting on the pagesI tried creating 2 separate values, one with "initially selected" for one of the values and added visibility rules to only show the initially selected if country is US and the other not initially selected if country is Canada.But when I select Canada as my country, the value shows correctly but is pre-selected.Anyone have ideas?
