I'm trying to set up a Custom API with Influitive with LaunchPoint. I've followed the instructions from both of these articles: Create an API Only User Role - Marketo Docs - Product Docs Create an API Only User - Marketo Docs - Product Docs and am attempting to continue using Create a Custom Service for Use with ReST API - Marketo Docs - Product Docs - however, when I go to define my Custom service, nothing populates in the API User Only field/dropdown, nor can I type anything into that box. Since it's a required field, I'm stuck on this step. I've tried to rename the user role, add additional privileges to the role. Help!

We are joining 2 tables in enrichment.In Table 1, we have unique email-id as the only column.In Transaction table we have Email-id, Amount & date columns.i am joining it with transaction table which has multiple records for every email-id. We have 15 records in the Table1 & the transaction table has 19 records. All the email ids of transaction table is present in table1.However, on joining we are getting only 15 records instead of the expected 19 records.  We tried joining it will all possible cardinalities. 1:1, 1:N, 1:0Unable to understand where are we going wrong.

Hi All,As we are using Marketo form for Inbound marketing Programs. Is there a way that we can avoid entering invalid data on Marketo Forms (for ex. first name /Last name contains(.,-,test,asdf,xyz,abc,etc) and Email address contains (test,other,gamil.com,etc)?Please help me with your suggestions and Idea.Thanks,Selven R

I have a requirement to set size limit of 50KB on fileuplod of type image that i drag and drop from asset.I have tried sizeLimit property but it did not work,can someone help me on this.i found many examples to set restriction on dam asset but this requirement is component specific.

We are looking more closely at form action types and we're finding little to no documentation on these.  For example, we want to quickly create a Campaign newsletter subscription form without coding.  This should be action type = Create Lead.  The action attributes requires a manual id be entered I assume.  This should be populated by a list of lead lists at minimum.  No documentation exists to tell us how to setup the fields in the form.  If there is docs, can someone point us to them.  If not, can we get a config for Create Lists actions on this?

After doing some digging around and searching online and here the community, I am still not feeling like I getting my question answered. I am sure there is a better way to search this out, just not aware of it. Getting to the point, our deliverability has been spotty at best until about 4 months ago. We switched our sender domain from the standard "mycompany.com" to a subdomain "email.mycompany.io" and we seem to be getting into the upper 90s on percentage delivered (we've even seen 99.7% on one campaign to around 5,000 leads). We also have added more filtering to send only to those showing proof of life and are engaged, opened and email and/or visited web page, etc. However, with that being said, prior to this being the case, there was some talk of moving our marketing assets hosted on Marketo landing pages or even external landing pages to a new branded domain using Marketo's feature of adding or replacing domains in tandem with the new email subdomain.Basically, email is sent from "

I'm really trying to avoid making a particular solution more complicated than it needs to be by using a webhook rather than an API to update some lead information that's being transmitted via XML. In this particular case, the structure looks something like<level1>    <level2>        <level3>            <apple_type>Gala</apple_type>            <orange_type>Navel</orange_type>        </level3>    </level2></level1>Nothing particularly rocket science is attempting to be accomplished here: all I'm trying to do is pull apple_type when orange_type is Navel. Normally with XPath I'd just do something like/level1/level2/level3[orange_type/text() = "Navel"]/apple_type/text()However, it doesn't seem like Marketo can use that sort of markup for a response. I recently had a HD crash on my primary computer, which I used to work on all my Lightroom files (CC). While the primary machine was being fixed, I used my backup machine to load NEF files (into LR 2014). I worked on them there, all OK so far.The primary machine is back in service. I wanted to include the NEF files I had worked on in the secondary machine into my CC catalogue of the primary machine so imported all of those files. I noticed that the NEFs imported OK but the xmp sidecars, which were paired with the NEF files, did not seem to have come over with the import. Are those xmps of no use anymore? Do I delete all the xmps and start from scratch and redo all the edits I had previously done on the secondary machine? Shouldn't the xmps have just imported with the nef file? If I start working on the files on my primary machine is it creating a new xmp file for a given nef? If I delete the first xmps associated with the nefs (from the secondary machine), does that create some problem

I have a program that's synced to Salesforce set up with the following smart campaign:Smart List: Visits Web PageFlow: Change Program Status & Create TaskIn the results tab, I see the following:Change Program Status - Skipped Cannot add an anonymous lead to a programSync Lead to SFDC - Failed: {MktSyncLeadtoSfdcImpl::synLead} cannot push anonymous lead to SFDCCreate Task - Visited web page "Landing Page 01"Those activity detail errors/warnings are expected since the lead is anonymous. However, my understanding is that when an anonymous lead becomes known, the triggers that would have affected the anonymous lead are executed once the lead becomes known. Therefore, I would expect the Change Program Status and Create Task flows to execute when the lead became known, but they didn't (the lead isn't a member of the program and an SFDC task wasn't created).What am I missing?

Hello trying to run a daemon like service on AEM. What is the best practice for this?Use case is need to run a service that constantly watches a folder outside of AEM and pulls in content whenever it's uploaded to it.Better to trigger this as an servlet or and OSGi service? Hello everyone! My team is trying to identify the behavior of visitors both before and after a purchase on our website-- beyond just the buying visit. Using Ad-Hoc, we want to create a segment which excludes all behavior prior to the purchase and another that would exclude all behavior after the purchase, Additionally, we'd like to exclude "click-back" traffic after the purchase (the best I can). Ultimately, we'd like to be able to say we had "X Purchasers in (date range), of those X purchasers, Y returned to the site during (date range) and here is the top content/pages/products/etc they viewed/bought/etc." After which, we'd like to compare that behavior to the Pre-Purchase behavior. The trouble is we are struggling to create a segment we are confident provides us the most reliable results. We have tried it a couple ways with the following be as close as we can get it:Previous Page = Confirmation PageAND Order exists Any suggestions?

Hi all. I'm working on updating the Perl libraries https://github.com/jpinkham/business-sitecatalyst ( which wrap the Report API ) from v1.3 to v1.4, and I've hit an interesting issue. When I call Report.Queue using the 1.4 endpoint, I get an error message like:{"error":"Bad Request","error_description":"The specified created timestamp ('2016-12-15T05:22:00') has expired or is in the future","error_uri":null}However when I make the same call ( effectively ) against the 1.3 endpoint, things work fine. I've tried running ntpd to sync my local clock. I'm not pausing in between generating the request headers/body and sending the request. What's going on?

This was already the case a while ago as I just discoveredper this discussion SSL for branding domain not landing page initiated by @Sanford WhitemanIf in an email my CTA uses utm parameters to provide infos to Analytics and Marketo (something such as page.mydomain.com/mypage.html?utm_source=email), this will be rebranded in link.mydomain.com/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.My questions are, aside to the security issues that are pointed out by Sanford in this idea:When my lead clicks the link, will the mkto_tok information be correctly appended and interpreted by the landing page?Will my utm_source be also correctly left where it belongs and interpreted by the landing page?I gather that should work, but a confirmation / invalidation would be welcome.Thx for your input-Greg

Hey all,I was about to clean up our database and merge some dupes that are sitting around, but remembered that we have a campaign with a trigger of Data Value Changes that fires off when a field value is updated. How do I prevent my deduplication efforts from causing that trigger campaign to fire off left and right?My understanding is that merges aren't tracked in the activity history as Changed Data Value, so the trigger shouldn't fire technically speaking, but I just want to be safe.Thanks,Andy

Hi there!I just implemented several test groups and they are breaking my smart campaign triggers "fills out any form on a specific landing page."Because we reuse the same form on multiple pages, I use "fills out any form on a specific landing page" to trigger flow steps like updating lead source and sending out alerts. This worked fine with a single landing page per program, but once we converted that landing page into a test group, the trigger no longer fires.I've already added both of the two options in the test group to trigger but no luck.

Hello everyone,We have started routing leads that come into our database by Inferred State Region. While most leads have a value for this field, there doesn't seem to be a record of when the lead acquired the field in a lead's Activity Log. Is there a way to see the timestamp for when leads acquire Inferred field data? This data is relevant because we will use it to adjust our routing, depending on when the Inferred fields are established.Thank you,Dan
