Hi everyone,I have inherited a project in which they way release versions are delivered is a little bit iffy: Developers identify the files they have changed with respect to the previous release, then they MANUALLY create a package in Package Manager by adding all the filters one by one. The reason they have been doing this is because another department is in charge of releasing that new content to live version (and it will be like that for now)On the other hand, I checked the package size created when deploying with Maven, that is adding ALL code from /apps, /etc/clientlibs/, /etc/designs, java bundles, etc. and it's over 100MB, I guess the previous developers were fearful of uploading releases very often with such big packages and overloading the server capacity (???)So my question is, given this scenario -100MB package and release deliveries around once a week- what is the right approach to take?Thanks in advance

My requirement is :  We have multiple country sites for our company(nearly 103 different country site). When it comes to Assets, business wants to maintain only 9 regions like en, fr, es, ko, jp....,      the assets path  in dam look like, "content/dam/xxx/collaterals/en/analysit-reports/a.pdf" , "content/dam/xxx/collaterals/en/analysit-reports/a.pdf" "content/dam/xxx/collaterals/es/analysit-reports/a.pdf" "content/dam/xxx/collaterals/fr/analysit-reports/a.pdf". Where as in html page we want place the link like for US site "en-us/analysit-reports/a.pdf" for France site "fr-fr/analysit-reports/a.pdf" to match actual site structure. .The US site asset link should mach en-us/analysit-reports/a.pdf -> content/dam/xxx/collaterals/en/analysit-reports/a.pdf and fr-fr/analysit-reports/a.pdf -> content/dam/xxx/collaterals/fr/analysit-reports/a.pdf and so on.... Based on my java knowledge the  I tried to implement filter, when request match used the RequestDispatcher with new location, but

I have been following the steps detailed in the following document http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/integration/marketing-cloud/campaign.html for integrating Campaign with AEM but am stuck on the creation of an AEM type external account in Campaign... Although the import of the AEM standard package step is successful, the type doesn't appear in the drop down for the types available. We are using Campaign 6.1 and AEM 6.1. Has anyone encountered the same issue and identified a solution?Thank you in advance for any assistance,F

Hi All,In one of my project there is a scenario where in we need to run multiple independent workflows triggered at the same time on same asset. Issue is sometimes if we upload more than 50 images of around 4 MB then few renditions failed to generate.Warning in error.logs is as below :2016-10-17 11:13:14.915 WARN [com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.cache.CQBufferedImageCache] timeout reached while waiting for cached image for /content/dam/week42/beauty/B00 0278329 003 08 3034.jpg/jcr:content/renditions/original.As discussed with our Adobe consultant, we can try to change the value of cq.dam.image.cache.max.age to higher value than the current 60 seconds but this change didn't fix the problem.Can this issue be because of simultaneous execution of independent workflows on same item?Can anyone please suggest what could be the issue.Thanks in Advance/RK

My company is ready to turn on lead scoring and start strategizing/executing lead nurture campaigns.  I'm new to lead scoring, so I was wondering if lead scoring can be customized based on a campaign or what not, or can there only be one score for each trigger (such as 5 points for opening an email, etc.)?  Can it be turned on/off for certain groups of leads, or when you turn it on does it affect everyone's score across the board?Also, any resources you may have on how to turn on scoring and customize it would be great.  Thanks!

Hello,For a long time now I've been able to use a local token as the value for a form's follow-up URl setting. As of recently this will no longer validate:I've also tried using the token at the form level (form defined) but that results in the page just reloading on form submit, instead of redirecting to the follow-up page. Is this something anyone else is experiencing/found a solution for (aside from having to manually choose for every landing page). Ideally, My team shouldn't have to be editing the form settings for every landing page they create.Thanks!

I'm wondering if a PURL is like a vanity URL?  We have a print-based camapign that we want to bring to a Marketo landing page.  So I need a (vanity) url to include in the postcard.  Would a PURL be used?

Hi all, just wanted to get everyone’s opinion on User Synchronization[1] (using Sling Content Distribution[2] (SCD)) in AEM 6.2.Right now in AEM 5.6.1 we’re using some custom Forward Replication/Reverse Replication (FR/RR) for all UGC, including user profile preferences. From our experience thus far, this is probably the worst thing in the world, and we’ve only got about 15-20k active users.I went ahead and setup User Synchronization in my local dev environment (1 author, 2 publishers) and it’s working out pretty well for any preference modifications made under the rep:User node. I’m concerned when we scale back up to the number of active users we have in PROD right now, if SCD will encounter any of the performance problems that FR/RR had. I can only hope that the answer is no but I don’t know for sure. My guess is that SCD doesn’t have all of the overhead that FR/RR has from the AEM interface using replication agents, workflow instances, leaving behind var/audit logs, etc.I also wante

I’m not sure to understanding where to put:<BASE_URL>?a=UpdateStatus&p=<PRIMARY_KEY_OF_THE_PROPOSITION>&st=<NEW_STATUS_OF_THE_PROPOSITION>&r=<REDIRECT_URL> and what BASE_URL stands for.I’ve tried to put http:// [url of the Offer Engine]?a=UpdateStatus&p=<%= proposition.proposition_id %>&st=<2>&r="https://page.html" in the web page that I used for calling the offer module, but it doesn’t work.As per my understanding I don’t need to write extra code to modify proposition status, using UpdateStatus is enough. I have a requirement where we need to restrict the author to add only specific components to parsys. I understood from few sites that we can achieve this through design page (adding specific components to 'Components' property) but somehow its not working for me. Hi,By default, all the AEM urls are case-sensitive. I would like to know if I can disable this case-sensitive feature or add some new configuration to do this. Ex:AEM resolves the below URL:http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/geometrixx/en/products.html AEM not able to resolve the below URL (because of capital "P" in the Products):http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/geometrixx/en/Products.html Thanks.

I am supposed to change the background-color of my component using the dialog.
